JESUS CHRIST CREATED MATHEMATICS

I know you might be surprised — how could Jesus be a mathematician? Well, in this study we’ll explore a type of mathematics that ordinary mathematicians have never managed to turn into practical reality.

Let’s start with a beautiful passage from the Bible: John 6:1-14, or you can read Matthew 14:13-21. I’ll quote Matthew 14:17:
"We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered.

At first glance, it seems impossible for five loaves and two fish to feed more than five thousand people.

Now, using ordinary mathematics, this number might seem conceivable in theory — but practically, it's impossible. So how did Jesus manage to feed over five thousand people with just five loaves and two fish?

In mathematics, there’s a concept called Factorial Notation. This is where you multiply numbers in descending order down to one.
For example:
1! = 1
2! = 2 × 1 = 2
3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6
4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24
5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 120

Mathematically, it’s possible. But practically, no mathematician could turn five loaves and two fish into a factorial of 7 and feed five thousand people.

Five loaves (5) plus two fish (2) equals seven items of food.

Our Lord Jesus — who is the Mighty God (Titus 2:13) — can do whatever He desires, and it shall be done.

In Matthew 14:18, Jesus took those five loaves and two fish, looked up to heaven, and blessed them. Then He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, who distributed them to the people.

Remember, this is the same Jesus who turned water — with a chemical formula of H₂O — into wine, which has a chemical formula of C₆H₁₂O₆ = 2CO₂ + 2CH₃CH₂OH.

Is there anything too hard for Jesus?
Jeremiah 32:27 answers that for you:
"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"

Now, let’s return to the lesson of the five loaves and two fish.
Mathematically, it would be like saying:
7! = 7 × 6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 5040

I’ll also use a recursive formula as an example:
Solved Example:
Question: Simplify 10! / 6!

Solution:
10! / 6! can be written as
10 × 9 × 8 × 7 × 6! / 6!
The 6! cancels out, leaving:
10 × 9 × 8 × 7 = 5040

So you can see how factorial notation builds up — and that miraculous multiplication isn’t impossible when God’s hand is at work.

In conclusion: Factorial notation might explain big numbers, but only Jesus can turn a small amount into endless provision, both spiritually and physically. With Him, no formula is too difficult, and no situation impossible.
