It was the Holy Spirit who sent Jesus to heal and restore us!
If you turn to Luke chapter 4, you'll find that it was the precious Holy Spirit who send Jesus forth to minister healing, deliverance and restoration to us. Let's look at this passage in the Bible:
Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath
anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering
of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To
preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
Those wonderful things listed in the verse above were the desire of the Holy Spirit for us, and He sent us Jesus to minister that healing, freedom and restoration unto us.
It was the Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus to go about healing all who were oppressed of the devil, raise the dead, and heal the sick. It is that same Holy Spirit who empowers us today to go forth and do the same!
Acts 10:38, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him."
