FINALLY, Muslims get their own set of smilies and emoticons


Not so fast, there are strict rules in Islam for using emoticons, many of which are ‘haram’ (forbidden), according to Hate Preacher Wajdi Akkari:

Another “scholar” says it’s OK for Muslims to use emoticons, but ONLY with persons of the same gender.



How about these? They symbolize Islam, are gender neutral, not sexually explicit, and likely won’t result in your getting a fatwa on your head.
