Neno la Kiebrania, mjumbe (messenger) katika Agano la Kale ni Malaika na linatafsiriwa kama Malaika (angel) katika Biblia za Kingereza. Neno linatumika katika kuonyesha wajumbe wa Kiroho waliotumiwa na Mungu. (Mwanzo 32:1-2) na pia lilitumika kwa wajumbe wanadamu waliotumwa na Yakobo (Mwanzo 32:3).

Jina Jegudiel au Yehudiel ni muungano wa majina mawili ya "YEHUDI" na "EL".

"Malaika, angels" au malakhim, yaani, "malaika wa kawaida "plain" angels"(angeloi, wingi wa angelos, i.e. mjumbe (messenger) au wakili wa balozi, ubalozi (envoy), ni daraja la chini sana la malaika, na ndilo linalofahamika sana kwa watu wengi. Wanahusiana sana na mambo ya viumbe hai. Katika aina hii ya malaika, wapo wa namna nyingi tofauti tofauti, wakiwa na kazi mbali mbali. Hutumwa kama wajumbe kwa wanadamu. Malaika hawa ni wa karibu sana kwa ulimwengu wa vitu na wanadamu. Wana peleka maombi kwa Mungu na Majibu ya Mungu na ujumbe mwingine toka kwa Mungu kwa wanadamu. Malaika wanao uwezo wa kuwakaribia malaika wengine wa ngazi yoyote ile na kwa wakati wotote ule. Ni wanaojishughulisha sana na jamii kuwasaidia wale wanaoomba msaada katika mazingira magumu ya kimwili; mfano, katika ajali, vizuizi au vikwazo vya kutoka mahali kwenda mahali pengine (gerezani).

Ibrahim Ali remembers his first church service well. The smell of the candles, the cheap plywood pews, and the hymn singing that sounded so foreign to him at the time. 

The 57-year-old Muslim Syrian never imagined that when he fled to neighbouring Lebanon to seek refuge from the war that he would end up converting to Christianity.

But Mr Ali is not alone. Hundreds of Muslim refugees living in Lebanon have been baptised in the past year alone.

Junul Purty is one of our dedicated pastors, and he works in the very difficult, hardened region where Australian missionary Dr. Graham Staines and his two young sons were martyred in 1999.

This month he went to a remote Hindu village in a jungle area where he preached the gospel and ministered to the sick. Wonderfully, eleven families from a tribe called “HO” accepted the Christ. After a few days the other villagers started persecuting our new believers, not allowing them to withdraw water from the village well or a nearby stream. So our new believers are now suffering because of this. They must walk 3 kilometers to get water, and it is very difficult on them.

Munaf Ali (name is not real), 45 years old, was an Imam of a Mosque as well as a scholar and preacher of Islam in a Middle East Kingdom.

At the same night a mob of fanatics under Munaf came to attack the gospel team shouting with “Allahu Akbar”. But the gospel team moved their shelter by God’s guidance and escaped from there before the attackers arrived.

After few days, one Friday afternoon, Munaf was going back home after the Juma Namaz. On the way he felt giddiness, became unconscious and falling on the ground. He knew he was dying. At that time, he saw demons coming to him to take his soul. Munaf said to them, “get lost, you cursed demons of Allah. You have no right to take my soul”.

Disillusioned at Al-Azhar

Fifteen years ago I was the imam of a mosque in the city of Giza, Egypt, which is where the famous Egyptian pyramids are located. (Imam of a mosque is a position similar to pastor of a Christian church.) I preached the message of the week on Fridays from 12 to 1 in the afternoon, as well as performed other duties.

One Friday the topic of my message was jihad. I told the two hundred fifty people seated on the ground before me: Jihad in Islam is defending the Islamic nation and Islam against the attacks of the enemies. Islam is a religion of peace and only will fight against one who fights it. These infidels, heathens, perverts, Christians and Allah’s grievers, the Jews, out of envy of peaceful Islam and its prophet—they spread the myth that Islam is promulgated by the sword and violence. These infidels, the accusers of Islam, do not acknowledge Allah’s words. At this point I quoted from the Quran: And do not kill anyone whose killing Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. —Surah 17:33, The Noble Quran When I spoke these words, I was just freshly graduated from Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt —the oldest and most prestigious Islamic university in the world. It serves as the spiritual authority for Islam worldwide. I was teaching at the university, and I was an imam on the weekend at this mosque.

I preached my sermon on jihad that day according to the philosophy of the Egyptian government. Al-Azhar University focused us on the politically correct Islam and purposely overlooked areas of teaching that conflicted with the authority of Egypt . I was preaching what they taught me, but inside I was confused about the truth of Islam. But if I wanted to keep my job and my status at Al-Azhar, I needed to keep my thoughts to myself. After all, I knew what happened to people who differed from Al-Azhar’s agenda. They would be fired and would not be accepted to teach at any other university in the nation.

The group planted the wooden structures in the small village of Marbach, near Erfurt, in the central eastern state of Thuringia, in early March. The owner of the site has said he plans to take legal action against the activists, named as ‘Citizens for Erfurt.’

UK Daily Mail (h/t Susan K)  The mosque is being constructed for the Ahmadiyya Muslims in the area. The sect of Islam was founded in the 19th Century by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. The community’s imam, Imam Said Ahmad Arif, said the move by the right-wing demonstrators would not stop the construction of the Mosque.

He  said the demonstrators were in the minority and that the Muslim community had received support from a range of politicians.

On the Citizens for Erfurt Facebook page, the group wrote: ‘We built a sign of identity and our way of life. For the preservation of our culture.’

Evangelical pastor Ricklef Muennich condemned the actions of Citizens for Erfurt. He said: ‘There is no reason to ram ten crosses into the ground as a sign of battle. The cross of Jesus really stands for love, for love of your neighbor and your enemies.

But Corina Herold, spokeswoman in the Thuringia state parliament, said the planting of the crosses was a ‘fundamentally good’ action. She claimed that Muslims do not need a mosque in which to worship and should be content with prayer houses.

A spokesperson for the Thuringia state government said they could not remove the crosses because they had been erected on private land.

UNITED NATIONS: Jordanian Muslim diplomat quits after her “Israel Apartheid Report” gets shot down

A United Nations diplomat from Jordan, Rima Khalaf, stepped down Friday after refusing to withdraw a report accusing Israel of practicing apartheid against Palestinians.  Khalaf is known for promoting an anti-Israeli agenda and has often compared the Jewish state to Nazis.

The Hill  Jordanian diplomat Rima Khalaf, who headed the U.N.’s Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, said U.N. Secretary General António Guterres urged her to retract her commission’s report after it sparked outrage in Israel and the U.S., according to The New York Times.

Khalaf stood by the report despite the pressure. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley applauded Khalaf’s resignation, calling her commission’s report “false and defamatory.” She also lauded Guterres for standing against the report and calling for its withdrawal.

“When someone issues a false and defamatory report in the name of the U.N., it is appropriate that the person resign,” Haley said.

The report was authored by a commission made up of 18 Arab U.N. member states, including former U.N. human rights investigator Richard Falk, who has been accused of anti-Semitism and conspiracy theorizing.

Gee, I wonder if UN head Guterres was so quick to go against this latest Muslim defamation effort against Israel because of President Trump’s threat to defund the UN?
