Believe it or not, Allah deceives both the Muslims and the Christians in the Qur’an. What is damaging for Muslims is the fact that the Qur’an distinctly reveals that Allah deceived Muhammad with a false revelation. And Allah even admits to this deception in the Qur’an. The Qur’an clearly testifies that Allah is a deceiver. In this article we will reveal three accounts in the Qur’an which will prove irrefutably that Allah deceived: (1) Muhammad (2) The Muslims (3) The Christians.
The Qur’an openly states in many places that Allah is “the best of the deceivers.”
Surah 3:54: And they cheated/deceived and God cheated/deceived, and God is the best of the cheaters/deceivers. (M. A. Samira)
Literal Translation: And they cheated/deceived and Allah cheated/deceived, and Allah is the best of the cheaters/deceivers.
Transliteration (Arabic original): Wa-makaroo wa-makara Allahu wa-Allahu khayru al-makireena.
Not only does this Qur’anic verse reveal that Allah is a deceiver but it also shows that he competes with ordinary humans to be the best at it. It is important to remember it is not the enemies of Islam but the Qur’an itself which identifies Allah as “Allahu khayru al-makireena.” When translated, it reads: “Allah is the best of the deceivers.” For the benefit of our readers, we have provided the meaning of the essential Arabic words in Surah 3:54:
- “Khayru” means “best of.”
- “Al-makireena” means “those who deceive.”
- “Makaroo” which means “deception” is a derivative from the root word “Makr.”
- “Makara” which also derives from the same root word “Makr” means “to deceive.”
- “Makir” refers to the person who deceives – “the Deceiver.”
All these Qur’anic terms can easily be verified by comparing their meaning in reputable Arabic dictionaries such as Al-Mawrid. Imagine, Allah describing himself as “the best of the deceivers” in the Qur’an. The verb “makara” meaning “to deceive” is always used disparagingly and never in a positive context. In fact, the Arabic Bible uses this same word for Satan in Genesis 3:1.
The majority of the translators of the Qur’an are unwilling to associate this quality with Allah. As a result, they deliberately mistranslate this word. Most Muslim translators render the verb “makara” differently when it is applied to the unbelievers and when it is used for Allah. They deliberately distort the meaning in spite of the fact that the same word is used in both cases. Just compare the above literal translation of Surah 3:54 with some of the modern translations we have today. See how some translators deceitfully render “makara” in such a way so as to soften the damaging implication of this word on the character of Allah:
Surah 3:54: Then, the disbelieving (Jews) conspired secretly to execute ‘Isa (Jesus), but Allah covertly designed His plan to safeguard ‘Isa (Jesus). And Allah is the Best of secret planners. (Tahir-ul-Qadri)
As we can see, when applying to the disbelievers, Qur’an translators have no problem in correctly understanding “makara” to mean that the disbelievers “deceived” or “cheated” or “conspired secretly” to carry out their evil plot. However, when it comes to Allah, they dishonestly translate the same word “makara” to mean an innocent plan or course of action. How can the same word within the same sentence have two different meanings? In fact, there are many instances in the Qur’an which use “makara” with reference to Allah. Consider now a couple of Qur’anic verses along with the literal translations provided by Muslims themselves:
Surah 8:30: “And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to affix/affirm you, or kill you, or bring you out, and they scheme/deceive, and God deceives/schemes and God is best of the deceivers/schemers.” (M. A. Samira)
Literal Translation: “And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to kill you or to bring you out, and they scheme/deceive and Allah deceives/schemes and Allah is best of the deceivers/schemers.”
To further understand what “makara” actually means, it is vital to consider Ibn Ishaq’s interpretation of this word as it appears in Surah 8:30. Ibn Ishaq (761 C.E.) was Islam’s earliest historian. In his outstanding historical work known as “Sirat Rasul Allah,” he stated the following:
“Then he reminds the apostle of His favour towards him when the people plotted against him ‘to kill him, or to wound him, or to drive him out; and they plotted and God plotted, and is the best of plotters.’ i.e. I deceived them with My firm guile so that I delivered you from them.” (The Life of Muhammad: A Translation of Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah, with introduction and notes by Alfred Guillaume p. 323 – Oxford University Press, Karachi, Tenth impression 1995)
Unlike modern-day translators who try to obscure the true meaning of this Qur’anic verse, Ibn Ishaq correctly interpreted “makara” to mean that Allah “deceived” the unbelievers with his “firm guile.” The term “guile” is defined as “slyness.” It also means “crafty” or “artful deception.” Let us now look into another Qur’anic verse:
Surah 10:21: And if We made the people taste/experience mercy from after calamity/disastrous distress touched them, then for them is cheatery/deceit/schemes in Our verses/evidences. Say: “God is quicker/faster in cunning/scheming, that Our messengers write what you cheat/ deceive/scheme.” (M. A. Samira)
Literal Translation: And if We made the people experience mercy from after calamity or distress touched them, then for them is cheatery/deceit/schemes in Our verses. Say: “Allah is faster in cunning/scheming, that Our messengers write what you cheat/ deceive/scheme.”
All the above literal translations prove that Allah’s scheming is synonymous with deceit, cunning and cheating. No matter how strongly Muslim translators try to obscure the true meaning, there are sufficient evidences to prove beyond doubt that Allah is truly a deceiver. Even if Muslims turn a blind eye to all the facts provided above, there are three irrefutable accounts in the Qur’an which prove Allah is definitely a deceiver.
The first account shows how Allah deceives Muhammad with a false revelation. The second account proves how Allah deceives the Muslims with a false prophecy. And the third account reveals how the Christians were deceived by an illusion of Allah. To “deceive” means “to make a person believe what is not true.” In other words, it means “to lie, to delude, to mislead, to use deceit, or to be false to someone.” We will now determine if this true of Allah? Did he ever cause someone to believe what is not true? Muslims should pay careful attention to the following Qur’anic verses.
ALLAH DECEIVES MUHAMMAD WITH A FALSE REVELATION
Surah 8:43-44: “(And remember) when Allah showed them to you as few in your (i.e. Muhammad’s) dream, if He had shown them to you as many, you would surely have been discouraged and you would surely have disputed in making a decision. But Allah saved (you). Certainly, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts. And (remember) when you met (the army of the disbelievers on the Day of the battle of Badr), He showed them to you as few in your eyes and He made you appear as few in their eyes, so that Allah might accomplish a matter already ordained (in His Knowledge), and to Allah return all matters (for decision).” (Hilali-Khan)
“When Allah showed them unto thee (O Muhammad) in thy dream as few in number, and if He had shown them to thee as many, ye (Muslims) would have faltered and would have quarrelled over the affair. But Allah saved you. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts of men. And when He made you (Muslims), when ye met them, see them with your eyes as few, and lessened you in their eyes, it was that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done. Unto Allah all things are brought back.” (Pickthall)
In his Tafseer (Commentary) on Surah 8:43-44, Ibn Kathir stated the following:
Mujahid said, “In a dream, Allah showed the Prophet the enemy as few. The Prophet conveyed this news to his Companions and their resolve strengthened.” Similar was said by Ibn Ishaq and several others. Allah said, If He had shown them to you as many, you would surely, have been discouraged, you would have cowardly abstained from meeting them and fell in dispute among yourselves, But Allah saved, from all this, when He made you see them as few, Certainly, He is the All-Knower of that is in the breasts. (S. 8:43) Allah knows what the heart and the inner-self conceal, Allah knows the fraud of the eyes, and all that the breasts conceal (S. 40:19)
Allah’s statement,(And remember when you met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes) demonstrates Allah’s compassion towards the believers. Allah made them see few disbelievers in their eyes, so that they would be encouraged and feel eager to meet them. Abu Ishaq As-Subai`i said, that Abu `Ubaydah said that `Abdullah bin Mas`ud said, “They were made to seem few in our eyes during Badr, so that I said to a man who was next to me, `Do you think they are seventy’ He said, `Rather, they are a hundred.’ However, when we captured one of them, we asked him and he said, `We were a thousand.” Ibn Abi Hatim and Ibn Jarir recorded it. Allah said next, (And He made you appear as few in their eyes,) Allah said, (And remember when you met. He showed them to you as few in your eyes), He encouraged each of the two groups against the other, according to `Ikrimah, as recorded by Ibn Abi Hatim. (Arabic texts omitted)
The dream that Muhammad experienced is no ordinary dream that people dream everyday. It was a divinely inspired dream – a dream inspired by Allah himself. In fact, it is more than a dream. It was a revelation from Allah. Allah’s divine will for the Muslims to fight the disbelievers was revealed to Muhammad through that dream. The details of that dream became an integral part of the “divinely inspired messages” of Allah in the Qur’an. Dreams were one of the means that Allah employs to inspire the messages of the Qur’an.
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 87, Number 111:
Narrated ‘Aisha: The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah’s Apostle was in the form of good righteous (true) dreams in his sleep.
Can Muslims truly understand the full implication of Allah’s action? In order to encourage his worshippers to do his biddings, Allah resorted to lies and deception. Allah inspired a deceptive dream to deceive Muhammad by portraying the opposing forces as fewer than what they actually were. Like a cheating accountant, Allah falsified the figures. Allah even admits that his reason for distorting the facts is to trick the Muslims into a false sense of confidence. Why? Because he feared that the truth would put a stop to their fighting for him. Allah deliberately deceived the Muslims by means of this dream in order to get them to fight for him. Thus, he lied to Muhammad in order to lie to the Muslims. Allah repeated the deception on the actual day of the battle by making the number of the opposing army appear less in the eyes of the Muslims than what they really were. Will the true God act in such a deceitful manner?
What do you think of the moral integrity of parents who lie or cheat in order to make their children obedient to them? Would such parents be setting the best example to their children in honesty? God is supposed to be the highest moral standard in all the virtues. Yet, in the Qur’an we find Allah deceiving his worshippers with a false revelation. If the divinely inspired dream by Allah is a distortion of the reality, how can we be sure of the trustworthiness of all his other revelations in the Qur’an? Like the deceitful dream, could not his other revelations also be fraudulent? And how can Muslims be sure that he did not also distort the teachings of the Qur’an to suit his purpose?
Some Muslims argue that Allah only deceives the unbelievers who deserve to be deceived. Well, the above account clearly shows that the early Muslims were not spared either. They were also misled by Allah. Furthermore, since Allah claims to be the best of the deceivers, why could he not deceive the unbelievers into losing the battle without deceiving Muhammad and the Muslims at the same instant? It is an indisputable fact that there is an inspired lie in the Qur’an.
ALLAH DECEIVES THE MUSLIMS WITH A FALSE PROPHECY
For Muslims who still believe that Allah is the true God, it would be beneficial for them to consider a divine prophecy of Allah in the Qur’an:
Surah 8:65: O Prophet! Rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers. (Yusuf Ali)
Allah prophesied in no uncertain terms that from now on – from the time this Qur’anic prophecy was revealed – a single Muslim warrior who ventures into battle “will vanquish” ten enemy fighters. Allah guarantees this stunning victory at every confrontation encountered between the Muslims and their enemies. This is truly an astounding feat. This means the Muslim victory is an inevitable conclusion. It is absolutely certain to pass. Thus, the victory is assured even before the Muslim warriors engage their enemies in battle. Hence, the success of the battle rests not in the hands of the Muslim warriors but in the mighty will of Allah. Allah was so sure of the outcome that he even sealed the prophecy by permanently inscribing it in the Qur’an. Can anyone or anything change the determined will of Allah?
Divine bombshell for Muslims! Just one verse later, Allah abolished his own infallible prophecy. He abrogated the prophecy wherein he precisely foretold the exact ratio of the number of enemies that the Muslim warriors would be able to overcome in battle. Allah guaranteed this much to Muhammad but he failed. And Allah had to dishonorably abrogate and replace his failed prophecy with yet another prophecy. The contradictory prophecy of Allah states:
Surah 8:66: For the present, Allah hath lightened your task, for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But even so, if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah: for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. (Yusuf Ali)
Well, why did Allah abolish his own divine prophecy and change the ratio from 1:10 to 1:2? Even though Allah promised in Surah 8:65 that the Muslim warriors “will vanquish” the enemies ten times more numerous than them, the Muslim warriors did not trust Allah with their lives. When Muhammad related this prophetic message of Allah to them, they became fearful. They complained bitterly at the impossible odds they would now have to encounter when they engage their enemies in battles. Authentic Islamic sources confirm this. The reason for the abrogation of Allah’s prophecy is clearly outlined in the following Hadith:
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 176:
Narrated Ibn Abbas: When the Verse: – ‘If there are twenty steadfast amongst you (Muslims), they will overcome two-hundred (non-Muslims).’ was revealed, it became hard on the Muslims when it became compulsory that one Muslim ought not to flee (in war) before ten (non-Muslims). So (Allah) lightened the order by revealing:
‘But now Allah has lightened your task for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are of you one-hundred steadfast, they will overcome two-hundred (non-Muslims).’ (Surah 8:66) So when Allah reduced the number of enemies which Muslims should withstand, their patience and perseverance against the enemy decreased as much as their task was lightened for them.
As we can see, Surah 8:66 was revealed only after Muslims became fearful and complained bitterly to Muhammad. Thus, lack of faith led to the invalidation of the eternal Word of Allah. Allah was forced to change his divine prophecy because of the failings of humans to follow divine directions. And as a result, Allah changed the prophetic ratio from 1:10 to 1:2 in the Mother of all books – the Holy Qur’an.
This proves that either Allah has no knowledge of the future or he just simply does not have the power to see through to the fulfillment of his prophecies. If Muslims deny this then the only choice left for them is to accept the fact that Allah lied to the Muslim warriors in order to persuade them to fight for him through deception. Any one of these reasons is sufficient to prove that Allah is an impostor and simply cannot be the Almighty God. What is certain is that Allah is a deceiver.
Now, let’s see how Jehovah the true God operates. See how he defeated the mighty army of the Midianites with just 300 men who acted under his divine direction:
Judges 7:1-8: Then Jerubbaal, that is, Gideon, and all the people with him rose early and encamped at the well of Harod, while the camp of Midian was north of him at the hill of Moreh in the valley plain.
Jehovah now said to Gideon: “There are too many people with you for me to give Midian into their hand. Otherwise, Israel might brag about itself against me and say, ‘My own hand saved me.’ Now, please, announce in the presence of the people: ‘Whoever is afraid and trembling, let him return home.’” So Gideon put them to the test. With that, 22,000 of the people returned home, and 10,000 remained.
Still Jehovah said to Gideon: “There are yet too many people. Have them go down to the water so that I may test them for you there. When I say to you, ‘This one will go with you,’ he will go with you, but when I say to you, ‘This one will not go along with you,’ he will not go along.” So he took the people down to the water.
Then Jehovah said to Gideon: “Separate everyone who laps up the water with his tongue just as a dog laps, from those who bend down on their knees to drink.” The number of those lapping up the water, putting their hand to their mouth, was 300 men. The rest of the people bent down on their knees to drink.
Jehovah now said to Gideon: “I will save you with the 300 men who lapped the water, and I will give Midian into your hand. But let all the other people go back home.” So after they took the provisions and the horns from the people, he sent all the other men of Israel back home, and he kept only the 300 men. The camp of Midian was below him in the valley plain.
Jehovah’s total honesty in his dealings with Gideon and the Israelites prove that the God of the Bible is absolutely trustworthy. But, more importantly, it also shows that numbers does not matter to Jehovah. He could save Israel with or without a single man. But he selected 300 faithful men through whom he displayed his mighty power. And Israel won the battle just as he had promised:
Judges 8:22-23: Later the men of Israel said to Gideon: “Rule over us, you and your son and your grandson as well, for you saved us out of the hand of Midian.” But Gideon said to them: “I will not rule over you, nor will my son rule over you. Jehovah is the one who will rule over you.”
Under no circumstances will the true God distort the facts. That is an attribution of Satan. No deception was involved. By reducing the number of warriors, Jehovah increased the faith of his worshippers in him. Could not Allah do the same? We will now consider how Allah deceived the Christians.
ALLAH DECEIVES THE CHRISTIANS WITH AN ILLUSION
Surah 3:54: Then they schemed against the Messiah, and Allah countered their schemes by schemes of His own. Allah is the best of schemers. (Maududi)
For nearly two thousand years, Christians believed and proclaimed the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, Islam completely rejects these teachings and offers a different explanation. According to Islam, Christians are in error because of their belief that Jesus died on the execution stake. But the Muslim explanation comes at a tremendous cost to Islam. Their version of the story portrays Allah as an atrocious deceiver. The Qur’an teaches that Jesus was not put to death but it was only made to appear so. Muslims believe in the substitution theory. They believe that Allah made someone else to appear like Jesus, who was then put to death in his place:
Surah 4:157-158: That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of God”; – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not: – Nay, God raised him up unto Himself; and God is Exalted in Power, Wise.” (Yusuf Ali)
“And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure. Nay! Allah took him up to Himself; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.” (Shakir)
If the above Qur’anic verses are true, this means that Christianity was founded and built on the lie that Christ was put to death on the execution stake. Well, who caused Christians to believe the lie that Jesus was killed when he supposedly was not? Who made it to appear to the Christians that Jesus was put to death? Who deceived them into believing this lie? Once again, according to the Qur’an, it was the work of the arch deceiver – Allah. He deceived all the Christians into believing that Jesus was executed.
According to the Qur’an, Allah’s sole reason for making it appear that Jesus was killed is to deceive the unbelieving Jews. However, Allah’s deception resulted in millions of others into also believing that Jesus was killed. For the next 600 years Allah simply sat back and watched multitudes converting to Christianity believing this lie. And Allah allowed this error to continue until he sent Muhammad with the Qur’an to clear the religious error that he himself had created. And Christians were made to follow a religion that was started by the deception of Allah.
Not a single person – not even the faithful disciples of Jesus – knew that Jesus was saved from the execution by the intervention of Allah. The fact that the early disciples of Jesus believed and preached the execution of Jesus proves that they were also deceived by the deception of Allah. Are they then not the innocent victims of Allah’s scheme? Could not Allah frustrate the plans of the unbelieving Jews without having to deceive the disciples of Jesus as well? If the Qur’an is true, then the basis for this false doctrine in Christianity actually originated with Allah. This leads to even more serious problems for Islam.
If the disciples of Jesus were deceived unintentionally, then it means that Allah was not smart enough to realize that he was about to start the world’s largest false religion as a direct result of his deception. However, if the disciples were deceived intentionally, then this is even worse. For it means, like Satan, Allah is in the deceptive business of establishing false religions. This means that either Allah is extremely foolish or maliciously deceptive. Muslims take your pick. The vital factor is that innocent Christians were deceived and are continuing to be deceived by the scheme of Allah. How could Allah’s scheme to prevent the murderous plan of the unbelieving Jews affect the innocent so disastrously? Men can put the blame on collateral damage but not God. There are no miscalculations with God. He is precise. He has to be.
If Allah is truly Almighty, could he not save Jesus without having to deceive everyone about it? Did not Allah know that his deception would lead to the formation of a false religion that would turn millions away from serving him? Furthermore, if Allah was able lift Jesus instantly to heaven as the Qur’an teaches, what is the entire purpose of this deception? Of course, Christians do not accept the Qur’an’s explanation about Jesus not undergoing death. The Qur’an’s account is used here merely to expose the errors of Islam and the deception of Allah.
The problem for Islam does not stop here. The Qur’an contradicts itself on this vital issue. In disagreement with its own teachings, the Qur’an fully supports the Christian position regarding the death of Jesus in many of its verses. We will consider just a couple of evidences to substantiate our point. For example, the Qur’an states that while Jesus was still on earth, Allah spoke the following words to him:
Surah 3:55: Lo! God said: “O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of the presence of those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee far above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection.” (Asad)
As we can clearly see, Surah 3:55 testifies that Allah will cause Jesus to die before raising him to heaven. However, this is not the only evidence pointing to the death of Jesus. In the Qur’an, Jesus is recognized as a Messenger of Allah. This identification of Jesus per se is revealed in the following verse:
Surah 5:75: The Messiah, the son of Mary, is only a Messenger: Messengers like him have passed away before him; and his mother was a saintly woman. And they both used to eat food. See how We clearly explain to them the revelations, yet see how they turn aside! (Hamid S. Aziz)
The above Qur’anic verse clearly identifies Jesus as a “Messenger” of Allah. And it testifies that all “Messengers” who lived “before” Jesus “have passed away” in death. No Muslim will deny this status of Jesus in the Qur’an. Having established this, we will now consider an important Qur’anic verse:
Surah 3:144: And Muhammad is but a messenger. Verily all Messengers have passed away before him. If then he dies or is slain, will you turn back on your heels? And he who turns back on his heels shall not harm Allah at all. And Allah will certainly reward the grateful. (Sher Ali)
The above Qur’anic verse categorically confirms that “all Messengers” who lived “before” the time of Muhammad “have passed away” in death. If Jesus did not die “before” the time of Muhammad, then Surah 3:144 is clearly in error since Jesus is undeniably recognized as a Messenger of Allah in the Qur’an. It will be wise for Muslims who are still obstinate in their belief that Jesus did not die to read the following Qur’anic verse carefully:
Surah 21:35: Every Soul – no exception – shall taste death. (Al-Muntakhab)
So, according to the Qur’an, did Jesus die or did he not? The Qur’an agrees and disagrees with the Bible on this single issue. The Qur’an is clearly in error in one instance. Muslims cannot get away now with their usual deceit that the Bible is a corrupted book.
ALLAH THE DECEIVER
If the Qur’an is true, then according to its own teachings, Allah is a deceiver. And if Allah is a deceiver, then the Qur’an cannot be true because it is the work of a deceiver. Truth and deception are opposites. Where there is deception, there cannot be truth. And God is truth. No matter which way we look at Islam, it ends up false. In view of the admission in the Qur’an that Allah deceived both the early Christians and the early Muslims, how can Muslims today be sure that they are not also being deceived by him?
Imam Abu ‘Abdullah Al-Qurtubi (1214-1273 C.E.) was an early renowned Sunni Islamic scholar who specialized in the study of the Hadith. Muslims claim that the breadth and depth of his scholarship are evident in his writings. The most famous is his twenty-volume commentary on the Qur’an known as “Tafsir al Jami’ li-ahkam al-Qur’an.” This learned Imam stated that the vast majority of the Islamic scholars of his time acknowledged that the term “the Best of the Schemers” is one of the beautiful names of Allah. He also stated:
“The Prophet used to pray, ‘O God, scheme for me, and do not scheme against me!’” (Qurtubi, IV, pp. 98-99; Zamakhshari, I, p. 366)
This prayer of Muhammad should trouble sincere Muslims. However, Muhammad was not the only one who feared the schemes of Allah. The closest companions of Muhammad were also troubled by the schemes of Allah. Caliph Abu Bakr was personally ensured of a place in paradise by Muhammad. However, even after this assurance, Abu Bakr was uncertain about his salvation in the hereafter. Why? It was because he could not trust Allah with absolute certainty. He knew Allah was a deceiver:
“Whenever he was reminded of his position in Allah’s sight, he would say: ‘By Allah! I would not rest assured and feel safe from the deception of Allah, even if I had one foot in paradise.’” (See page 70 of the Arabic version of Muhammad Khalid’s book, Successors of the Messenger.)
Abu Bakr was the first Caliph of Islam. He learned about Allah directly from the mouth of Muhammad. Yet, he had misgivings about the sincerity of Allah. The reason for Abu Bakr’s fear and doubt is because he knew that the god he worshipped was a deceiver who could not be trusted. Caliph Abu Bakr also knew that Allah could simply send astray whomever he wishes to:
Surah 6:39: Allah sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the Straight Path whom He wills. (Hilali-Khan)
There is not a single verse in the Bible which speaks about the true God misleading someone astray. And the Qur’an is crystal clear that the person whom Allah misleads can never be guided – not even by Muhammad. Speaking to Muhammad, Allah stated the following:
Surah 4:88: “Would you guide whom Allah has caused to err? And whom Allah has led astray cannot be guided.” (Dawood)
Surah 5:40-41: (O man!) Do you not know that the absolute sovereignty of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah alone? He torments whom He wills and forgives whom He pleases and Allah has absolute power over everything…, And if Allah adjudges someone to go astray, then you do not have any power for him to hold up the command of Allah. They are the ones whose hearts Allah has no intention whatsoever to purify. For them there is ignominy (of disbelief) in this world and mighty punishment in the Hereafter. (Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri)
Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Hadith Number 6622:
Chapter: The obliteration of sins with the help of seeking forgiveness from Allah.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace you by those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.
Do we need further evidences to know who Allah really is? Can you believe this? Allah just admitted that he will destroy all those who do not sin. In other words, Allah will destroy the righteous! Allah the Deceiver is happy when we sin. He is at ease when we lie, cheat and deceive in imitation of him. Otherwise, he threatens to destroy us. The description of Allah in the Qur’an best fits the one whom Jesus identified as the “father of the lie.”
John 8:44: “You belong to your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own character, for he is a liar and the father of the lie.”
Satan deceives and lies because the truth is not in him. The deception of Allah in the Qur’an shows that he shares the same traits as Satan. From the evidences given here, it is hard to deny that the spirit behind the inspiration of the Qur’an is none other than the Arch Deceiver, Satan the Devil. Satan masquerades as the true God simply to turn people away from the true teachings of God in the Holy Bible. And he has ensnared more than a billion people with his deception.
2 Corinthians 11:14: And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light.
In the entire Bible you cannot find a single verse describing the true God as a “Deceiver” – not once. Carefully consider now the description of Jehovah in the Holy Bible:
Psalm 31:5: “Into thy hand I entrust my spirit. You have redeemed me, O Jehovah, the God of truth.”
Numbers 23:19: “God is not a mere man, that he should tell lies, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. When he promises something, will he not carry it out?
Hebrews 6:16-18: “For men swear by someone greater, and their oath is the end of every dispute, since it is a legal guarantee to them. In this same way, when God decided to demonstrate more clearly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, in order that through two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to the refuge may have strong encouragement to take firm hold of the hope set before us.”
According to Surah 3:54 Allah is the best of the deceivers. Therefore, if this verse in the Qur’an is true, then Allah is a deceiver. But if Allah is a deceiver, then the Qur’an cannot be true. We cannot trust him to speak the truth in the Qur’an. It would simply be the works of a deceiver – one who deceives through lies. Hence, the Qur’an destroys the credibility of Allah and Allah destroys the credibility of the Qur’an. Thus, Allah cannot be the true God. And the Qur’an cannot be the Word of the true God. This gives us tremendous reasons to reject Allah, Muhammad, Islam and the Qur’an.
