Christafari 2017 Summer Update: Maasai Mission

Dear Musicianary Partner,     We’ve seen the Lord do incredible things over the last two months as we’ve traversed Africa and Europe proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ! One of the greatest highlights has to be ministering to the Maasai tribe in the remote foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the border of Tanzania.      Due to a last-minute lodging cancellation, we had to sleep outside in small tents –– but we were told that we’d be kept safe from lions (and other nocturnal predators) by the Maasai Warriors. After making the very long drive that included all kinds of wildlife (like zebras crossing the rocky road in front of us), our bus finally made it to one of the most remote places I’ve ever been!      Our eyes were full of tears as we were greeted by the tribeswomen, singing and dancing as they welcomed us. We used generators for power but it was a daunting task to bring an entire sound-system and massive stage setup to the middle of nowhere.      It also became clear that an outreach concert alone would not be enough to attract these cattle-herding nomads. Since the Maasai are notorious for being some of the highest jumpers in the world, we spread the word across the African savannah that we were holding a jumping contest and would be giving away a goat, calf, and cow to the 3 highest jumpers. The word spread like wildfire!      Thanks to your support, we also set out to feed the whole tribe, having no idea that this would entail buying a cow and watching them slaughter and butcher it. It was quite an experience watching some of the warriors eat the meat raw and even drink the warm blood! We were truly at the ends of the earth!      The first day was incredible and we drew a large crowd for the outreach concert, but by the time the gospel message was preached, all the men in the tribe had left to tend their cattle. However, we did see all the women and children surrender their lives to Christ! The next day we were determined to present the Gospel to the men as well and so we held off the jumping contest until right after the Gospel message. We were overwhelmed by the response! Wrapped in our blankets and ready to camp outside with the Maasai. Praying we don’t get eaten by the lions!

No road? No problem! We loaded up the bus and drove for hours after the pavement ended to reach this remote tribe.

Our hearts were filled with joy as we were greeted by the singing and dancing tribeswomen.

Thanks to your support we were able to feed the entire tribe and bless them with 3 cows and 1 goat. Watching them slaughter and eat one of the cows was a sight that we will truly never forget.

The Maasai are arguably the highest jumpers in the world. To bring these nomads together, we set up a massive stage and held a jumping contest after our outreach concerts and Gospel presentation.

The winner of our jumping contest went home with a cow. But the real winners were all the tribesmen and women that gave their lives to Christ during our outreaches.

We clothed all the Maasai girls with new dresses thanks to seamstresses from our church.

I want to help make more trips like this possible!

After we sang and danced, we gave the Gospel to the precious orphans at Happy Life.

We gave all the orphans school supplies, biscuits, candy & juice. Their smiles were unforgettable!

When we didn’t have stage lights in Eldoret, we got creative and used car headlights to illuminate the stage!

Sharing the Gospel in the deadliest slum in Nairobi is not easy. We had plenty of security!

Somali Muslim invader posing as a “refugee” terrorizes local townspeople by threatening to kill them with a knife

The Faribault Daily News reports that a complaint filed in Rice County Court alleges that Somali Muslim, Abdinzak Ahmed Farah (below), 29, was pointing a knife and threatening to kill anyone who called police in downtown Faribault on July 12th.

WND  (h/t UT) According to an eye witness, Farah was eating raw beef with the knife and holding it out to patrons, asking them to “play games.” (It’s the inbreeding, folks)

Farah was asked to leave the area, which he did, only to return pointing the same knife at people as he spoke with them. Witnesses told police Farah was told to leave a second time, but later began chasing several people and threw the knife at them.

A male witness confronted Farah about chasing people, at which point he threatened to kill that person and threw the knife to the ground. The witness then told Farah police were on their way.

“I will kill whoever calls the police,” Farah reportedly responded. The man restrained Farah until police arrived. Farah was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and threatening violence, all felonies, and fourth-degree damage to property.

Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services resettle the majority of Somalis in Minnesota, working as contractors for the U.S. State Department.

Minneapolis is home to the nation’s largest enclave of Somali refugees, with estimates putting their numbers at between 40,000 and 50,000. They control the city’s sixth ward politics and have a member of their community on the city council, with the possibility of a second council seat going to a Somali in this fall’s elections.

This isn’t the first time residents of Faribault have been terrorized by Somali refugees brandishing knives.

Abdul Ali Artan, who went on a stabbing spree on the Ohio State University campus on Nov. 28, 2016, came to the U.S. from Somalia with his mother and six siblings as ‘refugees.

In June 2014, four Somali men threatened to rob a 15-year-old at knife point if he didn’t “lead me to the money” after conniving their way inside the boy’s house by offering to give him a ride home. All four were arrested and charged with felony attempted robbery.

FRANCE: Jihadi rehab center closed due to lack of interest by jihadis

France is shutting down its only rehab facility (right) for returning Muslim jihadists and jihadist wannabes after failing to attract any Muslim jihadists. The French government launched its first de-radicalization center last October for Muslim extremists/terrorists who were “looking for a way out” but the facility has been empty since February.

Daily Caller The “Centre for Prevention, Reintegration, and Citizenship” was designed by the French government to aid in the deradicalisation of young Muslims who have been flagged as showing sympathies for the extremist Salafist ideology or terror groups like Islamic State.

“The experiment has not been conclusive,” the government said in a statement, according to The Local.

Eleven more centers were planned as part of a 40 million euro ($47 million) program. The project would have had the capacity to host hundreds of people, but just nine signed up. All of them dropped out of the one-year course.

Despite the abject failure, the government has not given up on the project entirely. “In particular, the government will study the possibility of opening smaller-sized structures to host individuals in criminal custody and to develop alternative solutions to incarceration,” the government said.

Local residents and politicians complained over the fact that potentially dangerous individuals had the ability to wander around in their community since the program was voluntary.

More than 230 civilians have been killed in terror attacks in France since the start of 2015. The country has been in a state of emergency for almost two years.

AUSTRALIAN SENATOR Cory Bernardi calls for deportation of Muslim ‘halal’ king who claimed Australians needed Muslim men to ‘fertilize its women with Muslim babies”

Australian Conservatives Senator Cory Bernardi has slammed halal boss Mohamed Elmouelhy, saying he does not want him in the country. Senator Bernardi’s comments come in response to remarks Elmouelhy made on social media predicting the ‘white race would be extinct’ within 40 years.

Daily Mail (h/t Sara S)  Mr Elmouelhy told his Facebook followers Australian women needed Muslim men to ‘fertilise them’ and ‘keep them surrounded by Muslim babies’.

Mr Elmouelhy made the comment after Hebrew University in Jerusalem published research which showed sperm counts in men from Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe had declined by more than 50 per cent in less than 40 years.

‘Your men are a dying breed, Australian women need us to fertilise them and keep them surrounded by Muslim babies while beer swilling, cigarette smoking, drug injecting can only dream of what Muslim men are capable of,’ he said.  Mr Elmouelhy, who is the president of Halal Certification Authority, said Australia’s white race ‘will be extinct in another 40 years’ if the country is ‘left to bigots’. 

The senator says Mr Elmouelhy’s comments show why reform is needed to Australia’s immigration system. Halal Certification Authority president Mohamed Elmouelhy moved to Australia in 1975 and reportedly became a citizen in 1981, starting his business in 1993.  

The supremacist Muslim businessman called on these ‘bigots’ to kill themselves or plan to die. ‘Because you are declining, better go choose a plot for yourself at your local cemetery,’ he said. ‘If you can’t afford it, commit suicide. It is a cheaper alternative for bigots.’

The 2016 Census revealed that Muslims made up 2.6 per cent of the Australian population, up from 2.2 per cent in 2011. Australia’s Muslim population soared to more than 604,000 people, overtaking Buddhism as the most popular non-Christian religion, and marking a significant jump from 341,000 a decade earlier.

AUSTRALIA: Halal Caliph says Australian women need Muslim men to fertilize them to they can have lots of Muslim babies

BRITISH INSANITY: Muslim ringleader of child sex gang to be released from prison after just 5 years of a 22-year sentence

Mubarek Ali, the notorious MUSLIM leader of a paedophile sex gang in Telford, one of many in Britain, will be released from prison 17 years early. The sexual grooming gang had preyed on, raped, and pimped out girls as young as 12 years old to customers for at least two years.

METRO  (h/t Dallas B) Ali (below), 34, was then captured as part of a police investigation called Operation Chalice in 2013, and was jailed for 22 years. However, he is now reportedly set to be released as early as November.

Telford MP Lucy Allen said that Ali’s release was ‘wrong’, and could lead to him rejoining the community where his victims continue to live. In an open letter to local paper the Shropshire Star, she added that his victims are ‘living in fear’ and should have been properly consulted before his release.

‘Victims and members of the public would have expected a 22-year sentence to mean that the community could have time to heal and victims would be able to get on with their lives,’ she said.

Thousands of people have signed a petition calling for the Justice Secretary to prevent the early release of Mubarek Ali. People in Telford who know the case, or who know those affected by the crimes, have taken to social media to voice disgust after it was revealed that Ali is set to be released.

What we see in this case is that one of the main perpetrators is being released into the community only five years after the trial. ‘This is clearly of enormous concern to victims in this case, especially those who gave evidence in court.’

Four young women, who were aged 13 to 16 when they were abused between 2007 and 2009, gave evidence to Worcester Crown Court during the trial in 2013. Mubarek’s co-defendant, 27-year-old Ahdel Ali, was sentenced to 26 years in prison.
