THE EVIL COMMANDMENTS OF ALLAH ON WOMEN

 

If you are a woman and if you are seriously thinking about converting to Islam, then this article is written especially for you. While you hold the freedom to make your own choices in your life, please read this article as an act of kindness to yourself. Those who deny reality usually pay for their ignorance one way or the other. 

Proverbs 22:3:“Shrewd is the one that has seen the calamity and proceeds to conceal himself, but the inexperienced have passed along and must suffer the penalty.”

Muslims often brag that Islam honors and elevates women. However, in reality the opposite is true. Lies can be told, but evidence will always show up bearing the truth. And the truth is Islam oppresses and humiliates women. Presented below is a list of the ten most evil commandments of Allah. These commandments show how women are viewed and treated in Islam. The purpose of this article is to provide a brief summary on each of the evil commandments of Allah regarding women. This will enable the readers to have an overview of the evil teachings of Islam concerning women. This article is dedicated to women all over the world. It is dedicated to our mothers, sisters, wives and daughters.

(1) WIFE IS LIKE FIELD FOR HUSBANDS TO PLOW AS HE WISHES

Surah 2:223: Your wives are asfields for you. You may enteryour fields from any place you want. (Sarwar)

Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how you will.(Yusuf Ali)

What a humiliating way to portray one’s wife. How can Allah even compare the sexual rights of the husband over his wife’s body with the action of a man ploughing into a field? This means a Muslim can sexually plough his wife at any time and in any way he wishes. Allah says, “Your wives are as fields for you.” “So approach your tilth when or how you will.”

This Qur’anic verse gives the husband the full authority not only to demand sex from his wife whenever he wants to but also in any desirable sexual position of his preference.

According to Islamic scholar, Abdel Haleem(The Qur’an, Oxford University Press, 2004), this verse was revealed as an answer to the Muslims who heard from the Jews that “a child born from a woman approached from behind would have a squint.” Thus, Allah reassured the Muslims that they can approach their wives from any desirable position of their choice.

By telling Muslim husbands that they can engage in sexual acts with their wives “when or how ye will,” this Qur’anic verse shows that it does not require them to obtain the consent of the wives. Allah only concerns himself with the immediate gratification of the sexual desires of the husbands but not the emotional makeup of the wives. Allah is effectively permitting Muslim husbands to rape their wives. Marital rape is not a crime in Islam. Even if some do not view marital rape as a crime, the fact that Muslim husbands can demand sex without considering the feelings of their wives shows that Allah has lowered the status of the wives to that of a mere sexual object. Is there no mutual respect for each other’s body in the marital relationship between a husband and a wife in Islam?

The laws of God in the Holy Bible are different. In matters of sex, the sexual rights of both the husband and the wife are equal. They are mutual. Jehovah God does not extol the rights of the husband above the rights of that of his wife.

1 Corinthians 7:4-5: The wife does not exercise authority over her own body, but her husband does. Likewise, the husband does not exercise authority over his own body, but his wife does. Do not be depriving each other of your marital rightsexcept bymutual consentfor an appointed time.”

Only a true Creator would recognize the feelings and the emotional makeup of women. And Jehovah’s divine laws harmonize with his intimate knowledge of his creation – both male and female. Only He can be our Creator.

According to teachings of Islam, if a wife does not engage in sex with her husband when he demands her for it, then the angels of Allah will curse her until daybreak.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 121:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “If a man invites his wife to sleep with him and she refuses to come to him, then the angels send their curses on her till morning.”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 122:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “If a woman spends the night deserting her husband’s bed (does not sleep with him), then the angels send their curses on her till she comes back (to her husband).”

It is mystifying to learn why the angels of Allah are so concerned about the sexual indulgence of the Muslim husbands.

(2) MEN HAVE A STATUS ABOVE WOMEN

Surah 2:228:Men have astatus above women. God is Majestic and Wise. (Sarwar)

But men have arank above them. God is almighty and all wise. (W. Khan)

We should not mistakenly conclude that this Qur’anic verse is the same as the Bible’s reference to the role of the Christian headship in 1 Corinthians 11:3. The role of headship of the Christian husband in the Bible refers primarily to the position of the husband’s God-given responsibility to lead and care for his wife and his children. It does not in any way signify that he is superior to his wife. In the eyes of the true God, they are equal.

Galatians 3:28:There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female for you are all onein union with Christ Jesus.

Christian husbands are commanded by their God to love and honor their wives. They are even expected to lay down their lives to protect their wives if it is required of them.

Ephesians 5:25:“Husbands, continue loving your wives, just as the Christ also loved the congregation delivering up himself for it.”

1 Peter 3:7: “You husbands, continue dwelling in like manner with them according to knowledge,assigning them honor.”

To honor someone means to hold that individual in high esteem. Thus, a Christian husband is required to consider the opinions, needs, and wants of his wife. That is how a husband is expected to deal with his wife in a Christian marriage. The husband’s headship in a Christian marriage is built on deep, self-sacrificing love.

However, in Islam it is totally a different concept. The Qur’anic phrase,“men are a degree above them” refers to the superiority of the Muslim men over the women in Islam. This gender discrimination in Islam is evident in many of its teachings. The lower status of women is not confined only to her position as a wife in the marriage union but women as a whole are looked down and dishonored in Islam. 

Incredible as this may sound, even her eternal salvation is affected by of her gender. The following Hadith clearly substantiates this ugly truth. As you read the following Hadith, please bear in mind the teaching of predestination in Islam. According to Islam, all those in the “Islamic Hell” are predestined by Allah to spend their eternity there. Therefore, for the majority of the inhabitants of “Hell” to consist of women means that Allah must have predestined more women than men to be punished there.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 464:

Narrated ‘Imran bin Husain: The Prophet said, “I looked at Paradise and found poor people forming the majority of its inhabitants; andI looked at Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women.”

The following Hadith explains that the reason for the majority of the inhabitants of “Hell” to consist of women is because of their ungratefulness to their husbands.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 125:

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Abbas: “Then I (Muhammad) saw the Hell-Fire, and I have never before, seen such a horrible sight as that, and I saw that the majority of its dwellers were women.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What is the reason for that?” He replied, “Because of their ungratefulness.”It was said. “Do they disbelieve in Allah (are they ungrateful to Allah)?” He replied, “They are not thankful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors done to them. Even if you do good to one of them all your life, when she seems some harshness from you, she will say, ‘I have never seen any good from you.’”

It appears that Muhammad had some sort of an animosity towards women. In fact, he believed that women are an evil omen. His extremely superstitious attitude shows that his previous pagan background still influenced his thinking even after he became a Prophet.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 111:

Narrated By Sahl bin Sad Saidi:Allah’s Apostle said, “If there is any evil omen in anything, then it is in the woman,the horse and the house.”

In Islam, the majority of women will end up in“Hell” simply for being born as a woman. In contrast, the Bible speaks positively about the salvation of women. In fact, it says that the women declaring the good news about God are a large army. This mean a great many women are in a favored position of their Creator.

Psalms 68:11:Jehovah himself gives the saying:The women telling the good news are a large army.

(3) DOUBLE SHARE OF THE INHERITANCE FOR MALE OVER FEMALE

Surah 4:11:Allah enjoins you concerning your children: The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females.(Shakir)

Allah thus directs you as regards your Children’s Inheritance: to the male, a portion equal to that of two females. (Yusuf Ali)

Does not this verse mathematically establish the fact that Islam is discriminatory towards women? This Islamic law is both repressive and unjust. Among many civilized nations, inheritance is divided equally among all siblings, regardless of the gender. No laws such as this, either secular or religious, exist among those who are not Muslims. Thus, the laws of ordinary humans are far more compassionate towards women than those of Allah’s.

Allah concerned himself with perishable material inheritance. And he gave unfair laws in favor of the males. However, Jehovah reveals wherein lies the true wealth of a man.

Proverbs 19:14:The inheritance from fathers is a house and wealth, but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.

Jehovah knows the worth of a precious wife.

(4) A WOMAN’S TESTIMONY IS HALF OF A MAN’S TESTIMONY

Surah 2:282:Call in two of your men as witnesses. But if two men cannot be found, then call one man and two women out of those you approve of as witnesses, so that if one of the two women should forget the other can remind her. (W. Khan)

Once again, does not this verse mathematically establish the fact that Islam is discriminatory towards women? According to this Qur’anic verse, the reason for having two women witnesses is that women are forgetful and needs another to remind her. This verse assails the very nature of womankind, and implies that a woman’s mind is weak. It also suggests that only women are forgetful whereas men are not. Is it really true that men are less forgetful than women?

The following Hadith will remove any ambiguity as to what Surah 2:282actually means when it speaks about a woman’s mental ability.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 48, Number 826:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said,“Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?” The women said, “Yes.” He said,“This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.”

The reason for diminishing women’s role in court is clear enough. It is because Muhammad simply believed and taught that women have deficient minds. Surah 2:282 clearly states that a second female witness is needed to remind the first witness since a female witness may “forget.”Thus, both the Qur’an and the Hadith match up well in this matter of degrading women. Since the testimony of woman is only half of that of a man, how can a Muslim woman who is raped by a Muslim man testify against him?

(5) A DIVORCED WIFE MAY REMARRY HER HUSBAND ONLY IF SHE HAS SEX WITH A SECOND MAN

Surah 2:230: So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her. In that case, there is no blame on either of them if they re-unite. (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 2:230 is one of the most unethical religious decrees ever to be issued. This verse makes it clear that if the husband divorces his wife irrevocably, she shall not be lawful to him after that, until she marries another man. For instance, if a Muslim man were to orally utter“talak” three times (talak means “I divorce you”) in a moment of anger, but then has a change of mind, he cannot continue to remain as her husband after that. He cannot evenremarry her even if both want to start over again. Islamic law demands thatthe wife must first marry and have intercourse withanother man, and who in turn has to divorce her again, before it becomes lawful for the original couple to remarry.

Allah only allows a reunification if she follows the Qur’anic steps of marrying someone else, consummating that marriage, and then is divorced by the second husband. Thus, Allah punishes the wife for the hasty decision made by the husband in a moment of anger. Allah also humiliates her by subjecting her to engage in sexual intercourse with a total stranger on her way back to a possible reunion with her first husband.

Sir W. Muir, the celebrated biographer of the Prophet, wrote:

However unjust or injurious the action, how much severe the result of passion or caprice, however it may affect the interests not only of an innocent wife, but also of her innocent children,however desirous the husband may be of undoing the wrong, – the decision cannot be recalled; the divorced wife can return to her husband but on one condition, and that is that she shall first be married to another man, and after cohabitation (to the fullest extent) be again divorced. (The Life of Mahomet).

It must be made very, very clear that Allah is principally responsible for this gross injustice to a Muslim wife. In Islam all that is required for a husband to divorce his wife is to orally utter“talaq” three times and that is it. If it is not for Allah’s easy divorce laws, a Muslim man will never be able to divorce his wifeirrevocably in a heated moment of anger. Who then do you think is to be blamed for this tragedy?

Because of Allah’s easy divorce laws, a Muslim man may divorce his wifeirrevocably in a moment of anger. He may not have actually meant it in his heart. He later regrets his action and wants to restore her for himself. Of course, she too would like to go back to her husband and her children who may be still very young. Is it reasonable, according to basic human values of chastity and dignity, for Allah to state that it is not permissible for the woman to return to her husband and children unless she has sexual intercourse – at least once – with a total stranger before she is restored to her husband and children again?

We need to ask, “Why is Allah punishing the wife in this extremely humiliating way, for the hasty utterance of the easy Islamic divorce formula said in a moment of anger by the foolish husband?” Is this not discrimination against an innocent wife?

(6) THE RIGHT TO RAPE FEMALE PRISONERS OF WAR

Surah 4:24: Also forbidden are married women,except those who have passed into your hands as prisoners of war. This is a commandment of God to you. (W. Khan)

Muslim scholars agree that this Qur’anic verse makes it lawful for Muslim men to rape women prisoners of war. Islamic record shows that married female captives were raped in the presence of their husbands with the blessing of Allah.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir onSurah 4:24:

The Ayah (verses) means Also (forbidden are) women already married, exceptthose whom your right hands possess.), you are prohibited from marrying women who are already married. Except those whom your right hands possess) except those whom you acquire through war,for you are allowed such women after making sure they are not pregnant.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said, “We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands.So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah was revealed, (Also (forbidden are) women already married, exceptthose whom your right hands possess). Accordingly, we had sexual relations with these women.”

Sunan Abu Dawud, Volume 2, Book V, Chapter 711, Number 2150:

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri said: The Apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them.  They defeated them and took them captives.  Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, send down the Qur’anic verse: “And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hand possess.” – Surah 4 An-Nisa24.

Thus, Islam allows forced sex with helpless women in their most vulnerable condition. Even according to the basic laws of civilized humans, no sexual acts should take place between the women captives – married or not – and their captors. Thus, Allah’s laws are inferior to the laws of humans.

According to Surah 4:24, Muslim men are authorized by Allah to gratify their carnal desires by raping the female captives of war. Captured women were raped and shared among the Muslim warriors. These women are the defenseless mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters of men slain in battle by theMuslim warriors. This utterly shameful conduct of raping captives is sanctioned by Allah and enshrined in the Qur’an and the Hadith. Listen carefully as Allah tells his Prophet:

Surah 33:50: OProphet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowriesand those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war.(Pickthall)

Allah made it lawful for Muhammad to rape helpless women. Please read the following divine commandments ofJehovah in the Holy Bible:

Leviticus 18:20: “Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her.”

If Jehovah does not even permit his worshipper to engage in illicit intercourse with his neighbor’s wife who may be a consenting partner, do you think he would allow his worshippers to rape helpless women?

(7) MEN ARE PERMITTED TO BE POLYGAMOUS

Surah 4:3: If you fear that you cannot deal fairly with orphan girls, you may marry women of your choice, two or three or four. (W. Khan)

Muslim men are allowed to marry up to four women at the same time. Of course, they are allowed to replace any of these wives with newer ones as long as it is kept within the limit of four at a time. Allah expects a faithful Muslim wife to share her only husband with other women.

In addition, Muslim men are also allowed to have sex with as many slave-girls as they possibly can acquire. According to the laws of Allah, Muslim men are allowed engage in sexual intercourse with their slave-girls without the requirement of marriage to them. Thus, in addition to the legal wives, Muslim men can also seek sexual pleasure from their slave-girls. While this practice may not be common today, it is nevertheless sanctioned by Allah in the Qur’an. This means the limit on four wives is a deception.

Surah 23:5-6: “…and restrain their carnal desiresexcept with theirspouses and slave-girls. The practice of carnal relations is lawful with them.” (Sarwar)

The great Muslim scholar,Ibn Kathir, explains the above verse:

(And those who guard their private parts. Except from their wives and their right hand possessions, for then, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors.) means, those who protect their private parts from unlawful actions and do not do that which Allah has forbidden; fornication and homosexuality, and do not approach anyone except the wives whom Allah has made permissible for them or their right hand possessions from the captives. One who seeks what Allah has made permissible for him is not to be blamed and there is no sin on him.

Slave-girls are not wives, otherwise Allah would not have used the word“or” when speaking of the permissibility of sexual intercourse with slave-girls. In the Holy Bible,Jehovah God warns:

Hebrews 13:4:“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”

Jehovah in his wisdom knew that a single wife is sufficient for a single man. That is why he gave just one wife to Adam. Jesus also testified to this truth:

Matthew 19:4-5: And Jesus said in reply, “Have ye not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife;and the two shall become one flesh?

The Bible does not say that the five – four plus one – will become one flesh but the two will become one flesh. The Christian standard of marriage is the one established by God at the beginning in Eden where he gave Adam only one living wife. This was the standard at the start of mankind’s creation and this is the standard that Christians uphold today. The practice of polygamy was far from the standard of monogamy that God had set in the Garden of Eden.

(8) A HUSBAND CAN SIMPLY GET RID OF ONE OF HIS WIVES

Surah 4:20: And if ye wish toexchange one wife for another and ye have given unto one of them a sum of money however great, take nothing from it. (Pickthall)

This Qur’anic verse makes it permissible for a Muslim man to dismiss any one of his wives and replace her with another as long as he takes nothing from the dower that he originally gave to obtain her as his wife. This is the only condition for the exchange. Thus, if a man desires to exchange one wife for another, it is of no consequence to Allah except that the dower should not be taken back.

This Islamic doctrine can easily lead to the abuse of the marriage institution. Essentially, this Islamic rule turns wives into nothing more than prostitutes. This is shown in the life of Hassan, a grandson of Muhammad. Hassan, over the course of his life, had over three-hundred wives, yet never exceeded the four-wife limit at any one time. He would marry a woman during the day, enjoy her company for one or a few nights, and then divorce her so that he could marry another, all within the bounds of Islamic law.

In Islam, a man is free to divorce his wife for a reason or for no reason and at any time he wishes. The above Qur’anic text clearly demonstrates that according to the laws of Allah, a wife is like a piece of purchased merchandise that a husband can easily replace.

The above Islamic rulings are the true authentic teachings of Allah and his Prophet as it is taught in the Qur’an. But today, we may find laws on marriage and divorce that are more merciful and reasonable in some Islamic countries. These laws are often passed off as the true teachings of Islam. This is a blatant lie. For example, some Muslim governments have enacted laws that require a husband to seek permission from his wife before marrying another. There is no such clause in the Qur’an. According to the written law of Allah, a Muslim man simply has the right to add or replace one wife with another.

In complete contrast, please consider how Jehovah, the true God, views the act of divorcing. During the fifth century B.C.E., divorce was rampant among the Jews. Through the prophet Malachi, Jehovah warned the nation of Israel:

Malachi 2:14:“Jehovah hath been a witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously, though she is the wife of thy covenant.”

Jehovah God viewed the“weeping and sighing” of these betrayed wives with precious concern. The tears of these women were spoken of as covering the “alter of Jehovah.”

Malachi 2:13:And this is the second thing that you people do,this resulting in covering with tears the altar of Jehovah, with weeping and sighing.

As a loving Creator, Jehovah felt compassion for these betrayed wives at the hands of their treacherous husbands. He understood their pain. In the following verses, he strongly expressed his feelings about this deplorable attitude towards marriage in Malachi’s time:

Malachi 2:15-16:“And you people must guard yourselves respecting your spirit, and with the wife of your youth may no one deal treacherously. For Jehovah has hated a divorcing.”

Consequently, Jehovah told them:

Malachi 3:5-6: “And I will come near to you people for the judgment;and I will be a speedy witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the alien resident from his right, while they have not feared me.Jehovah of armies has said. I am Jehovah. I have not changed.”

These are the hallmarks of a true Creator.

(9) HUSBANDS ARE ALLOWED TO BEAT THEIR WIVES

One of the most controversial issues in Islam is the Qur’an’s authorization for husbands to beat their wives.

Surah 4:34: As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourgethem. (Pickthall)

As to those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them.(Shakir)

On account of the revelation of this single Qur’anic verse, wife-beating became an acceptable form of behavior in Islam. As a result of this Qur’anic verse which was revealed by Allah to settle domestic disputes, many Muslim women in the time of Muhammad suffered from domestic violence.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 715:

Narrated ‘Ikrima:Rifa’a divorced his wife whereupon ‘AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. ‘Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah’s Apostle came, ‘Aisha said,“I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look!Her skin is greener than her clothes!”

In Riyad al-Salihin, “The Orchards of Righteous Men” (p. 107-108), Imam al-Nawawi chronicled the following incident:

Umar Ibn al-Khattab came to Muhammad saying, ‘Women have dared to disobey husbands.’ He allowed their husbands to scourge them.Many women approached Muhammad complaining against their husbands becauseMuhammad received a verse for the Qur’an which commands their husbands to scourge them.

In Ahkamal-Qur’an (the Ordinances of the Qur’an),Vol. 1, p. 211, Imam Shafi’i wrote the following:

In case of a husband’s ill-treatment (of his spouse), the Qur’an permits reconciliation of the spouses and arbitration, but in the case of the wife it allows scourging her.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 11, Number 2142:

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: The Prophet (pbuh) said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.

While Allah gave a command in the Qur’an for husbands to beat their wives, he could not give a command for husbands to love their wives. In contrast, consider the loving teachings of Jehovah. In the Bible, Christian husbands are given the following commandment:

Ephesians 5:28-30: “In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church.”

Just as the husband will not hurt himself, neither is he allowed to hurt his wife. This is the kind of love that is required of a Christian husband. This is the kind of love that he is commanded to demonstrate towards his wife. Wife-beating is not an option in Christianity. It is forbidden. The laws of Jehovah are the laws of a loving Creator.

(10) MEN ARE ALLOWED TO MARRY PRE-PUBESCENT GIRLS

Surah 65:4:“And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubts (about their periods), is three months, and forthose who have no courses (i.e.they are still immaturetheir ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death. And forthose who are pregnant(whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is until they deliver (their burdens), and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.” (Hilali-Khan)

Regarding sex with pre-pubescent children, well-known scholar, Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi states the following in hisCommentary on Surah65:4 in Tafhim al Qur’an, Volume 5, p. 620, note 13:

Here, one should bear in mind the fact that according to the explanations given in the Quran the question of the waiting period arises in respect of the women with whom marriage may have been consummated, for there is no waiting-period in case divorce is pronounced before the consummation of marriage. (Al-Ahzab: 49).Therefore, making mention of the waiting-period for girls who have not yet menstruated, clearly proves that it is not only permissible to give away the girl at this age but it is permissible for the husband to consummate marriage with her. Now, obviously no Muslim has the right to forbid a thing which the Qur’an has held as permissible.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 63:

Narrated Sahl bin Sad: “TheProphet said,“Go, I have agreed to marry her to you with what you know of the Qur’an (as her Mahr).” “And for those who have no courses (i.e. they are still immature). (65.4) And the ‘Iddat for the girl before puberty is three months (in the above Verse).”

According to the Qur’an, the requirement for a divorced pre-pubescent wife to observe“Iddat (the waiting period of three months) only becomes necessary if her marriage is consummated. Thus, Muslim husbands are allowed to consummate the marriage with their child-wives. By permitting men to have sex with minors, Islam legitimizes and sanctions an act that is regarded as pedophiliaby the rest of the civilized world. And the Prophet of Islam set the example when married a six-year-old child.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64:

Narrated By ‘Aisha : That the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old,and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3309:

‘Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah’s Messenger(pbuh) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine.

While Jesus loved children and spoke highly of their innocence, Muhammad made love to children and robbed their innocence.

Mark 9:42:“Whoever causes one of these littlechildren who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea.”

HOW ISLAM VIEWS WOMEN

Aisha the favorite wife of Muhammad expressed the following words in anger:

You have put us on the same level with a donkey and a dog.”

But why did Aisha make such a statement? Because the Prophet of Islam said that if a man is praying and a donkeya dog or woman passes in front of him, his prayer will not be acceptable, and he has to perform ablution again and repeat his prayer. No Muslim scholars question the validity of this statement regarding women. It is accepted by all the scholars of Islam that whenever a woman passes in front of a man while he is praying or if a dog or a donkey walks in front of him, he has to wash himself again and repeat his prayer. Otherwise, his prayer will not be accepted by Allah.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 9, Number 490:

Narrated ‘Aisha: The things which annul the prayers were mentioned before me. They said, “Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey and a woman (if they pass in front of the praying people).” I said, “You have made us (i.e. women) dogs.”

In his book, “Al-Muhalla,” “The Sweetened” (part 4, p. 8),Ibn Hazm says:

“A prayer is rescinded by dog,whether it is passing by or not, and by a woman and a donkey!”

The great Muslim theologian, Ibn Hazm(994 C.E.-1064 C.E.) emphasized that all the great companions of the prophet without exception attested to the above teaching of Muhammad. Then he records on page 11 the words of Aisha:

You have put us on the same level with a donkey and a dog.”

Why is the presence of a woman regarded as similar to the presence of a donkey or a dog? Why is Allah unable to accept the prayers of his worshippers just because a woman happens to pass in front of them? What is the rationale behind this ruling? It is vital for women to ponder over these disturbing questions. Women who blindly rush to convert to Islam should pause to reflect on these evil commandments of Allah mentioned here in this article.

The Qur’an is too malicious towards women to be inspired by the true God. The teachings of the Qur’an and the Hadith dishonor women. The founder of Islam was not the least troubled to openly declare that women have deficient minds. Women who support Islam are unwittingly proving Muhammad right. The religion itself is not women-friendly. The oppression of women is not accidental or incidental or an aberration of Islam, but it is an intricate part of its theology. Committed Muslims are much more likely to enslave women than liberate them. The problem lies with Islam.

Islam is the fundamental cause for the repression of woman. The subjugation and enslavement of women produces the oxygen that Islam needs to breathe. The life-blood of Islam is the Sharia Legal System. The subjugation of women helps to keep the foundation of Islam – the Sharia Legal System – intact. Thus, the liberation of women is a threat to Islam itself. More is at stake for Islam than the dignity of women.

QUR’AN TESTIFIES MUHAMMAD WAS A FALSE PROPHET AND DID NOT PERFORM ANY MIRACLES


The Qur’an is the only book in Islam for which divine inspiration has been recognized by all Muslims. Yet, the Qur’an itself testifies that Muhammad performed no supernatural miracles. The miracle claims for Muhammad do not occur in the Qur’an but in the Hadith. This is a serious contradiction in Islam because if Muhammad did really perform miracles as Muslims claim, these supernatural acts would have been recorded in the Qur’an. Instead, the Qur’an reveals that whenever Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries to perform miracles, he either remained silent or confessed that he could not do so because he was just an ordinary human without any special powers. The Qur’an contains more than twenty such passages expressing Muhammad’s inability to perform miracles. The most explicit of this admission is found in the following Qur’anic verses. Two translations of this Surah are provided below:


Surah 17:90-93: They said, “We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground. “Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes, with rivers running through it. “Or unless you cause masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us. Or unless you bring God and the angels before our eyes. “Or unless you own a luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. Am I any more than a human messenger?” (Khalifa)


They say, “We will not believe in you, until you cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth, “Or until you have a garden of date trees and vines, and cause rivers to gush forth in their presence, carrying abundant water,  “Or you cause the sky to fall into pieces on us as you say, or you bring God and the angels before us face to face. “Or you have a house adorned with gold, or you raise a ladder into the universe. No, we will not even believe in your raising a ladder until you bring down to us a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory to my Lord. Am I not only a human being, a messenger?”  (Bilal Muhammad)


The following Surahs testify not only Muhammad’s failure to perform miracles but they also reveal that just like any ordinary person, he had no special knowledge of any kind:


Surah 10:20: They (unbelievers) say, “Why has his Lord not given him some miracles to (support his claim of being His Messenger)?” Say “(The knowledge) of the unseen certainly belongs to God. Wait and I too shall be waiting with you. (M. Sarwar)


Surah 67:25-26: They ask, when will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful? Say, God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner. (W. Khan)


Time and again, Muhammad confessed that he was “only a plain warner.” The next following Qur’anic verse is very essential for Muslims to understand because it provides the reason why Muhammad could not have performed miracles of any kind. It specifically reveals that Muhammad was not in the same category as those who perform miracles. This is established by the very reason Allah himself gave as to why Muhammad could not perform miracles when his contemporaries demanded for one. Allah stated: “Muhammad you are only a warner.” The term “only” clearly shows that Muhammad was not qualified to perform miracles.


Surah 13:7: The unbelievers say, “Why has God not sent him, (Muhammad), some miracles.” Muhammad, you are only a warner. For every nation there is a guide. (M. Sarwar)


The reason for Muhammad’s inability to perform miracles is clearly stated in the Qur’an. It says it is because he was “only a warner.” By stating this, the Qur’an presupposes that the function of Muhammad as “only a warner” does not include the requirement to perform miracles as it was in the case of those with a higher calling. And Allah commands Muhammad to give this very same reason to his contemporaries as a clarification for his inability to perform miracles:


Surah 29:50: And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner. (Shakir)


As it can be noted, these Qur’anic verses clearly indicate that performing miracles was not one of the functions of Muhammad. However, the reason why Muhammad’s contemporaries demanded for miracles was because he had acknowledged the manifestation of powerful miraculous works by the “ancient Prophets” who were sent by God. But, Muhammad made a colossal error by comparing himself to Moses and Jesus – two of the greatest miracle workers. So when he claimed to speak in God’s name, they wanted divine assurance.


Surah 21:5: They have said, “It, (the Qur’an), is only the result of some confused dreams. He is only a poet. He should show us some miracles, as the ancient Prophets had done.” (M. Sarwar)


Even though the Qur’an was revealed in their own native tongue, the Quraysh contemporaries of Muhammad were not impressed by it. Even so, they had sworn that in the event if Muhammad performed “a miracle” before them, they would then believe the messages of the Qur’an. Just a single miracle was sufficient for them.


Surah 6:109: They swear by Allah that if a miracle comes to them, they would surely believe in it (the Book). Say, “All miracles are with Allah. What can make you understand that even if a physical miracle came to them, they will find other excuses and still not believe? (Shabbir Ahmed)


Their persistence in demanding miracles, and their sworn promises that in the event of one they would believe, gradually engendered the feeling of hope in the depths of Muhammad’s inner soul. He felt that Allah would certainly send a miraculous confirmation of his prophethood, which would then awe every objector into belief. But none came. And doubts began to set in into Muhammad’s heart.


The allegations regarding the doubts of Muhammad are not mere conjectures or hypotheses. They are based on facts that can be substantiated by the Qur’an itself. Numerous Qur’anic passages show that Muhammad experienced a mood of uncertainty when no miraculous sign from Allah came to confirm his mission. The most explicit passage to evidence this is stated in the following Qur’anic verses:


Surah 10:94-95: If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: So be in no wise of those in doubt. Nor be of those who reject the signs of Allah, or thou shalt be of those who perish. (Yusuf Ali)


And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers. And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers. (Pickthall)


It can be seen that Muhammad underwent some sort of an inner spiritual crisis when he lost hope of a miraculous sign. And Allah warned him not to become like those who deny his revelations. Allah even found it necessary to reprimand him:


Surah 11:12: Then, it may be that you will give up part of what is revealed to you and your breast will become straitened by it because they say: Why has not a treasure been sent down upon him or an angel come with him? You are only a warner; and Allah is custodian over all things. (Shakir)


You may feel the inclination to leave aside a part of what is revealed to you and you may be distressed because they say, ‘Why has no treasure been sent down to him, why has no angel come with him?’ But you are only to give warning. God is the guardian of all things. (W. Khan)


And Allah also rebuked Muhammad:


Surah 6:35: If their turning away is hard on you, then go down a tunnel deep into the earth, if you can, or climb up a ladder into heaven, and bring them a Sign. If Allah had wanted to He would have gathered them all to guidance. So do not be among the ignorant. (A. Bewley)


Muslims who attribute phenomenal status to Muhammad and believe that Allah has set him on a higher plane of knowledge than the previous prophets should seriously consider the following Qur’anic verse. Here Muhammad was commanded by Allah to make the following confession regarding his limitations as a warner:


Surah 7:188: Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please; and had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe. (Shakir)


Despite the Qur’an’s clear acknowledgment of the absence of any supernatural power, Muslims still claim that their Prophet was a miracle worker. Of course, such claims could not be made during the lifetime of Muhammad. So it was only after his death when rumors began to be circulated by Muslim miracle-mongers that he had performed all sorts of miraculous marvels. The greater the distance in time and space, the more the mass of fiction grew. Even though the learned among the scholars of Islam knew that these claims cannot be true since they contradict the Qur’an, they remained silent.


As testified in the above Qur’anic verses, Muhammad denied any possession of supernatural powers. If he had actually performed the miracles attributed to him by the miracle-mongers in the Hadiths, then how are we to understand the denial of all such occurrences in the above Qur’anic verses? It is hard to believe why these miracle-mongers could not see that in their enthusiasm to validate Muhammad as a true Prophet of God, they are actually invalidating the Qur’an. What is worth mentioning here is the fact that even Muslim scholars, who read the Qur’an and who knew Arabic well enough to understand its meanings, remained captive to these delusions which directly conflicted with the explicit teachings of the Qur’an.


For example, Qadi ‘Iyad, (1088 C.E.-1149 C.E.), an Andalusian judge, theologian, and genealogist, wrote a book in praise of Muhammad. He stated that whenever the Prophet passed a place, the stones and trees would walk up and say, “Peace be upon you, O Apostle of God!”


Without hesitation, Muslims today eagerly believe that such miracles did occur. But how do they then reconcile this conviction of theirs with the Qur’anic verses that testify that no miracles occurred when the Quraysh polytheists refused to believe without one? The sort of miracle that those Qurayshites demanded of Muhammad was relatively minor. They only wanted Muhammad to make water gush out of the ground or to flow out from a rock. If stones actually uttered greetings to Muhammad, would not that be a convincing reason for the Quraysh to accept Muhammad as a prophet of God?


The only stone that greeted Muhammad was the one that struck him on his mouth and injured him at the battle of Uhud. [1] Maybe this particular stone was an infidel. If trees walked up to Muhammad and greeted him, would not the unbelievers look at him in awe and immediately accept him as a Prophet of God? Instead, Muhammad’s contemporaries who actually knew him viewed him not as a miracle worker but as madman:


Surah 15:6: “And they say: O thou unto whom the Reminder is revealed, lo! Thou art indeed a madman!” (Pickthall)


Surah 37:36: And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? (Pickthall)


Surah 44:14: Yet they turn away from him and say: “Tutored (by others), a man possessed.” (Yusuf Ali)


Let us now carefully analyze the following Qur’anic verses.


Surah 29:50-51: And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner. Is it not enough for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Most surely there is mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe. (Shakir)


Surah 29:51: “Is it not enough for them that We have sent down unto thee the Scripture which is read unto them?” (Pickthall)


The above Qur’anic verses provide further evidences that prove Allah did not empower Muhammad with the ability to perform miracles. Instead of miracles, the above Qur’anic verses testify that Muhammad was given the Qur’an. And Allah asks rhetorically, “Is it not enough?” Therefore, any claim that Muhammad actually performed miracles would now imply that the Qur’an is indeed “not enough.” It also means that Allah was wrong in his initial conclusion that the Qur’an alone is sufficient for the outworking and accomplishment of the task assigned to Muhammad.


In his esteemed work, “Message of the Qur’an,” the late Sunni scholar Muhammad Asad wrote his scholarly interpretation of Surah 29:51. He candidly admitted:


This highly elliptic sentence has a fundamental bearing on the purport of the Qur’an as a whole. In many places the Qur’an stresses the fact that the Prophet Muhammad, despite his being the last and greatest of God’s apostles, was not empowered to perform miracles similar to those with which the earlier prophets are said to have reinforced their verbal messages. His only miracle was and is the Qur’an itself – a message perfect in its lucidity and ethical comprehensiveness, destined for all times and all stages of human development, addressed not merely to the feelings but also to the minds of men, open to everyone, whatever his race or social environment, and bound to remain unchanged forever. (Asad, Message of the Qur’an p. 427, fn. 71, – Dar Al-Andalus Limited 3 Library Ramp, Gibraltar 1993)


And this fact is also substantiated by the most authentic Hadith in the Muslim world:


Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 92, Number 379:


Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “There was no prophet among the prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine Inspiration which Allah revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection.”


This admission by Muhammad shows clearly that he did not perform any miracles. This exposes all the lies that were created about him by his followers after his death. Surah 29:51 actually sounds the death knell for any Muslim who claims that Muhammad performed miracles. The Qur’an was presented to Muhammad as his only miracle. He claimed unambiguously that this one miracle was sufficient to prove his prophethood. If Muhammad really needed miracles in addition to the Qur’an to prove his prophethood, then this falsifies Allah’s statement regarding the sufficiency of the Qur’an. In view of this fact, is it not really ironical that each time Muslims attribute miracles to Muhammad, they are only proving Allah, Muhammad and the Qur’an wrong? And to this we can add, also the implication that Allah lied in the Qur’an?


Surah 13:43: “They who disbelieve say: Thou art no messenger of Allah. Say: Allah, and whosoever hath knowledge of the Scripture, is sufficient witness between me and you.” (Pickthall)


(Muhammad), the unbelievers say, “You are not a Messenger.” Say, “God and those who have the knowledge of the Book are sufficient witness (to my prophethood).” (Sarwar)


Notice that miracles are not mentioned as one of the witnesses to validate Muhammad’s prophethood. If Muhammad did perform miracles as Muslims claim today, then the Qur’an is in error since it denies the performance of any miracle by him. On the other hand if Muhammad did not perform miracles as testified by the Qur’an, how can Muslims be sure that he was sent by God?


In contrast to Muhammad, notice how the Qur’an testifies that Jesus’ prophethood was authenticated by the miraculous works that he performed with the divine backing of God. The Qur’an records Jesus as saying:


Surah 3:49: “I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers.” (Shakir)


But why was Jesus given this divine power to perform miracles? The Qur’an itself answers this at the beginning of the above Qur’anic verse. It quotes Jesus as saying:


Surah 3:49: “I have brought you signs of my appointment from your Lord.” (Farook Malik)


This means that according to the Qur’an, Jesus came with credentials that he was sent by God. Muhammad had none.


DOES THE QUR’AN QUALIFY AS A MIRACLE?


Let us now analyze the claim that the Qur’an is a miracle in itself. This claim must be analyzed objectively. For a miracle to be truly miraculous, it should be accepted as a miracle by any individual from any nationality. For example, when someone is raised from the dead, this is considered as a miracle in Europe, Africa, Asia or in any place on earth. Both the Bible and the Qur’an recorded the miracles of Jesus. They clearly testify that he cleansed the lepers, raised the dead, healed the sick, cast out demons and performed many other powerful works. This is the definition of a true miracle. It does not need any interpretation, translation, education, explanation or above the average intelligence to say this is a miracle.


Now, try giving the Qur’an to a man who does not know Arabic, and say, “This is a miracle.” What do you think would be his response? We can almost say with certainty that his response would be something like this:


“What miracle? Are you kidding me? I don’t understand this language. I don’t understand Arabic. How could this be a miracle? It might be a miracle for you, but not for me.”


Today, about 80% of mankind are not Muslims. They simply cannot see the Qur’an as anything remotely close to the meaning of the word miracle. For the remaining 20% who are Muslims, most of them have neither read the Qur’an nor understood it. The Muslim claim is that only when the Qur’an is read in the original Arabic language, one can see the miracle in it. This would then mean that the great majority of the Muslims themselves cannot see it as a miracle since they do not read Arabic. Furthermore, we must understand which Arabic is being discussed here? The Arabic of the Qur’an is classical Arabic which is totally different from the spoken Arabic of today. This means that even most contemporary Arabs cannot see the Qur’an as a miracle.


And today, doubts about the Qur’an are slowly being expressed by a growing number of intellectuals who read it with understanding in the language they could understand. This is not surprising because when they study the Qur’an with understanding, they realized it contains not only numerous errors but also morally unacceptable teachings.


For example, when one reads verses like Surah 43:10:


“Allah has made for you the earth like a bed spread out.”


Or verses like Surah 15:19: 


“And the earth We have spread out like a carpet.”


It is only natural for doubts to set in. In comparison, if you go to the inspired writings of the Book of Isaiah in the Bible, you will find how it describes the shape of the earth with scientific accuracy – long before mankind even knew about it. Not to overlook is the fact that the Book of Isaiah was written centuries before the Qur’an:


Isaiah 40:22: “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth.”


The Book of Isaiah was written around 700 years before Christ and it described accurately that planet earth is a globe. Muhammad, who came about 600 years after Christ, said that the planet earth is flat as a bed in the Qur’an. Is this the “miracle” that the Qur’an could offer?


Well, how does the Qur’an measure-up in the field of moral teachings? Can it be considered miraculous in this vital area? Though there are numerous morally unacceptable teachings in the Qur’an, we will consider just two such teachings to prove our point.


Surah 33:50: O PROPHET! Behold, We have made lawful to thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowers, as well as those whom thy right hand has come to possess from among the captives of war whom God has bestowed upon thee. (M. Asad)


O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war. (Shakir)


The command in this Qur’anic verse is only for Muhammad. Allah made it lawful for Muhammad to engage in sexual relationship with his wives, which is proper in view of the polygamous nature of Muslim marriages. Of course, the Christian standard on marriage is based on God’s original standard in the Garden of Eden, which is monogamy. However, what is shocking is the fact that Allah sanctions rape in the Qur’an. The above Qur’anic verse authorizes Muhammad to indulge in sexual intercourse with the female captives of war. Notice too, it says that it is Allah who provides these captive girls for his Prophet’s sexual enjoyment. To put it simply, the Allah of the Qur’an is acting like a pimp for his Prophet. But to be more specific, Allah is authorizing rape in the Qur’an. And the following commandment is given to the rest of the Muslim men.


Surah 4:24: And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. (Pickthall)


Also forbidden are married women, except those who have passed into your hands as prisoners of war. This is a commandment of God to you. (W. Khan)


This means that while Muslims are prohibited from engaging in extramarital sex with married women, there is an exception to this rule if the married woman is a captive or a slave. Under such circumstances, Muslim men can have forced sex with married captives of war or slave girls in their possession. The doctrine of rape is clearly taught in the Qur’an. If Muslims are looking for a “Clear Sign” or “Evidence of the Truth” or “Sufficient miracle for a clear evidence of the truth” they should look for it elsewhere. They should look for it in the Holy Bible. Ironically for Muslims, this advice comes from none other than Allah himself. Notice how Allah testifies to this fact in the following Qur’anic verse:


Surah 20:133: They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation? (Yusuf Ali)


They have said, “Why has he, (Muhammad), not brought some miracle from his Lord?” Have they not received the previously revealed heavenly Books as the evidence of the Truth? (Sarwar)


And they say: “If only he brought us a miracle from his Lord!” Has there not come to them as a sufficient miracle a Clear Evidence of the truth in what is to be found in the former Scriptures? (Ali Unal)


The “former Books of revelation” are none other than the Torah and the Gospel. The Qur’an is confirming the undeniable fact that “Clear Sign” or “Evidence for the Truth” or “Sufficient miracle for a Clear Evidence of the truth” can be found in the Holy Bible. Yes! The Holy Bible is the Word of God. The Qur’an testifies to the authenticity of Holy Bible. In contrast to popular Muslim sentiment, the Qur’an not only teaches that Holy Bible is the uncorrupted Word of God but it also testifies that it will continue to remain as   such for all eternity.

How can African natives follow a racist false prophet such as Ellen White?



Stephen Baxter wrote: This subject, and Ellen's words regarding this topic, is a perfect example of Adventists bending over backwards to try and explain that Ellen didn't really mean what she actually said.

They choose to live in a perpetual world of cognitive dissonance. Ellen, indeed, believed blacks (Negro race) to be inferior to caucasians. Furthermore, she thought that evangelizing among the blacks was a waste of time.

Therefore it will not do for those who labor among the colored people to preach the truth as boldly and openly as they would be free to do in other places. Stephen Baxter: Furthermore...her husband James knew exactly what she was referring to and wholeheartedly endorsed it.


Mrs. White said the results of amalgamation could be seen "in certain races of men." The question that has haunted the SDA Church for more than 150 years is, which races are the result of amalgamation of man and beast? 


Ellen White's statement provoked instant controversy and stinging criticism of her in the 1860s forced church leaders to attempt to defend their prophet. In 1868, four years after the amalgamation statements first appeared in print, Adventist leader Uriah Smith5 published his defense of Ellen White. In that book he conjectured that the union of man with beast had created "such cases as the wild Bushmen of Africa, some tribes of the Hottentots, and perhaps the Digger Indians of our own country".


James White "carefully" reviewed Smith's book prior to its publication, and then recommended it in glowing terms to the readers of the church's official magazine, the Review and Herald:


"The Association has just published a pamphlet entitled, 'The Visions of Mrs. E.G. White, A Manifestation of Spiritual Gifts According to the Scriptures.' It is written by the editor of the Review. While carefully reading the manuscript, I felt grateful to God that our people could have this able defense of those views they so much love and prize, which others despise and oppose."


As noted, the prophet's husband carefully read Smith's book. It is inconceivable that the statements about the Bushmen of Africa passed by James White without notice. His endorsement of the book indicates his implicit approval of the explanation. In fact, because it supposedly established Mrs. White's claims, James and Ellen took 2,000 copies of Smith's book with them to peddle at camp meetings that year! By promoting and selling Smith's book the Whites placed their stamp of approval on his explanation of the amalgamation statement.

What Ellen promotes is separation of blacks and whites. What she promotes is segregation and inequality.

As a so-called prophet of God, what she SHOULD have been promoting is integration and equality as Jesus taught.

Our Lord taught, "Love thy neighbor" and illustrated it by telling the parable of the good Samaritan who BTW were seen as inferior by the Jews just as whites did of blacks in her time.


She taught, don't ruffle feathers. Get along to go along or else it will hurt the church. Her church was her priority.

WAS JESUS A MUSLIM?

 

Muslims believe that Jesus was a Muslim because he fell on his face and prayed at gethsemane Matt 26:39). My question is:

1. Was Jesus a Muslim when he said “I am the son of God”? John 10:36

2. Was Jesus a Muslim when he said “I and My father are one”? John 10:30

3. Was Jesus a Muslim when he said “ That all men should honour the son as they honour the Father”? John 5:23

4. Was s a Muslim when he said he came he “ to give his life a ransom for many”? Matt 20:28

5. Was Jesus a Muslim when he said “I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the father but by me”? John 14:6

6. Was Jesus a Muslims when he said “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end”? Rev 1:8

7. Was Jesus a Muslim when he said “all powers in heaven and on earth has been given unto me”? Matt 28:18
