Have you ever thought of Jesus Christ as a mathematician? It might sound strange at first — but when you look closely at His miracles, you’ll see divine calculations that no human mind could replicate. In this post, let’s unpack one of the most iconic miracles in Scripture through a mathematical lens and discover how Jesus proved, yet again, that nothing is impossible for Him.

The Famous Feeding of the Five Thousand

You probably know the story. In John 6:1-14 and Matthew 14:13-21, a massive crowd gathered to hear Jesus teach. As evening approached, His disciples panicked because the people were hungry, and they only had five loaves of bread and two fish on hand.

By simple reasoning, feeding over 5,000 men — not counting women and children — with seven small food items is absurd. No calculation or common sense can explain it. But then Jesus did what only the Creator of all things could do.

A Touch of Mathematics: Factorial Notation

Now, let’s have some fun with numbers. In mathematics, there’s a concept called factorial notation — the product of all positive integers up to a certain number. For example:

  • 1! = 1

  • 2! = 2 × 1 = 2

  • 3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6

  • 4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24

And so forth.

If we take the total number of food items — five loaves plus two fish = seven — and compute 7! (7 factorial), we get:

7! = 7 × 6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 5040

Interestingly enough, that number, 5040, hints at the scale of abundance possible when divine power is at work. While this is a playful mathematical illustration, it reminds us that where human logic sees limits, God sees limitless possibilities.

More Than Numbers: A Display of Divine Power

But let’s be clear — no mathematical formula can explain a miracle. This isn’t just clever math. It’s a supernatural act of provision. Jesus took what little was available, blessed it, and multiplied it until every person present had eaten their fill — with leftovers!

This same Jesus turned water (H₂O) into wine (C₆H₁₂O₆ fermented into C₂H₅OH + CO₂) in John 2, defying natural processes in an instant. Science can explain the chemical makeup, but it can’t duplicate the instant transformation. Because what is impossible for man is routine for God.

Is Anything Too Hard for God?

The prophet Jeremiah asked this question long ago in Jeremiah 32:27:

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

The answer? No. Absolutely nothing.

Final Thoughts

Whether through feeding thousands with a handful of food or transforming water into wine, Jesus repeatedly demonstrated mastery over both the seen and unseen laws of nature. The miracle of the loaves and fishes isn’t just a story of kindness — it’s a powerful declaration that God operates beyond our logic and limitations.

So the next time you face a situation that seems mathematically or logically impossible, remember: the same Jesus who multiplied seven food items to feed thousands is still at work today.

After all, He is the Savior of the world, the Son of God, and the One through whom all things were made (John 1:3). But when we look closely at some of His miracles, we see a divine application of principles that leave even the sharpest mathematicians in awe. In this article, we’ll examine one such miracle through the lens of mathematics, particularly factorial notation — and discover how the impossible becomes possible in the hands of the Creator.

The Miracle of Multiplication

One of the most remarkable miracles recorded in the Bible is the feeding of the five thousand, found in John 6:1-14 and Matthew 14:13-21. In Matthew 14:17, the disciples reported to Jesus:

“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they said.

To the ordinary mind, it’s unthinkable that such a meager meal could satisfy a crowd of more than five thousand men — not counting women and children. Even by the most generous estimates, it would take an extraordinary act to stretch that small supply into a feast for thousands.

Yet, this is precisely what Jesus did.

Factorial Notation: An Unlikely Comparison

In mathematics, there’s a concept known as factorial notation. It involves multiplying a series of descending whole numbers down to one. Here’s a simple example:

1! = 1
2! = 2 × 1 = 2
3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6
4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24
5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 120

Now consider this: Five loaves plus two fish equals seven food items. If you apply factorial notation to the number seven, you get:

7! = 7 × 6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 5040

It’s fascinating to note that 5040 is a number large enough to represent thousands of portions. While this is, of course, a mathematical exercise, it offers a symbolic reminder that what seems numerically impossible to man is divinely simple for God.

Jesus: The Master of the Impossible

This is not the first time Jesus demonstrated mastery over nature’s laws. In John 2:1-11, He turned water — with a chemical formula of H₂O — into wine, which involves a completely different molecular structure. Human beings, with all their scientific achievements, are yet to replicate such a transformation instantaneously.

Is anything too hard for Jesus? The Bible gives us a direct answer in Jeremiah 32:27:

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

Absolutely not.

More Than Mathematics

While factorial notation might hint at how numbers can exponentially multiply, it cannot account for miracles. It’s one thing to calculate large numbers on paper; it’s another to manifest them in reality — especially when starting with so little. No mathematician, scientist, or scholar has ever taken five loaves and two fish and physically multiplied them to feed thousands. But Jesus did.

Why? Because He is the Author of both natural and supernatural laws. Where human reasoning ends, divine power begins.

Conclusion

This exploration of mathematics through the miracle of the five loaves and two fish reminds us that God is not limited by formulas, numbers, or natural laws. He created them, and He can suspend, alter, or multiply them at will.

JESUS CHRIST CREATED MATHEMATICS

I know you might be surprised — how could Jesus be a mathematician? Well, in this study we’ll explore a type of mathematics that ordinary mathematicians have never managed to turn into practical reality.

Let’s start with a beautiful passage from the Bible: John 6:1-14, or you can read Matthew 14:13-21. I’ll quote Matthew 14:17:
"We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered.

At first glance, it seems impossible for five loaves and two fish to feed more than five thousand people.

Now, using ordinary mathematics, this number might seem conceivable in theory — but practically, it's impossible. So how did Jesus manage to feed over five thousand people with just five loaves and two fish?

In mathematics, there’s a concept called Factorial Notation. This is where you multiply numbers in descending order down to one.
For example:
1! = 1
2! = 2 × 1 = 2
3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6
4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24
5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 120

Mathematically, it’s possible. But practically, no mathematician could turn five loaves and two fish into a factorial of 7 and feed five thousand people.

Five loaves (5) plus two fish (2) equals seven items of food.

Our Lord Jesus — who is the Mighty God (Titus 2:13) — can do whatever He desires, and it shall be done.

In Matthew 14:18, Jesus took those five loaves and two fish, looked up to heaven, and blessed them. Then He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, who distributed them to the people.

Remember, this is the same Jesus who turned water — with a chemical formula of H₂O — into wine, which has a chemical formula of C₆H₁₂O₆ = 2CO₂ + 2CH₃CH₂OH.

Is there anything too hard for Jesus?
Jeremiah 32:27 answers that for you:
"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"

Now, let’s return to the lesson of the five loaves and two fish.
Mathematically, it would be like saying:
7! = 7 × 6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 5040

I’ll also use a recursive formula as an example:
Solved Example:
Question: Simplify 10! / 6!

Solution:
10! / 6! can be written as
10 × 9 × 8 × 7 × 6! / 6!
The 6! cancels out, leaving:
10 × 9 × 8 × 7 = 5040

So you can see how factorial notation builds up — and that miraculous multiplication isn’t impossible when God’s hand is at work.

In conclusion: Factorial notation might explain big numbers, but only Jesus can turn a small amount into endless provision, both spiritually and physically. With Him, no formula is too difficult, and no situation impossible.



Fulfilling Prophecy Blindly: Islam and the Spirit of Antichrist

To the casual observer, Islam might look like a faith of discipline, charity, and reverence. But to the discerning Christian grounded in Scripture, it reveals itself as something far more ominous — a system perfectly aligned with what the Bible foretold about the spirit of antichrist.

“Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:22)

Islam openly denies both the Sonship and divinity of Jesus Christ, and by extension, the Father. This isn’t a coincidence — it’s prophecy unfolding in plain sight.

Jesus also warned about public displays of religiosity for show:

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them.” (Matthew 6:1)

And yet, Islam institutionalizes public charity and synchronized ritual prayer. Zakat announcements flood social media, five daily prayers are performed in perfect unison toward a black stone cube — ritual without relationship. Jesus cautioned:

“They think they will be heard because of their many words.” (Matthew 6:7)

As for the Kaaba, it’s not a harmless tradition but a relic of ancient spiritual rebellion, echoing the architecture of Babylon — “Babylon the Great, the mother of abominations...” (Revelation 17:5)

And then, the zebiba — the darkened prayer mark on the forehead. An unknowing badge, placed exactly where Revelation 13:16 warns the mark of the beast will appear. A literal sign of allegiance, unknowingly worn by millions.

Why don’t they see it?

Because “The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers...” (2 Corinthians 4:4)

So here’s my final word to every Muslim reading this:

Congratulations — you’ve fulfilled biblical prophecy without even reading the script. But it’s not too late. Leave the stage while you still can. Flee Babylon the Great. Escape the pull of the Kaaba. Drop the tasbih, cancel the pilgrimage, tear up the prayer mat — because the fire is coming.

And when the final curtain falls, there will be no encore.

However, a careful examination of some of its verses and related hadiths reveals statements that directly conflict with even basic fifth-grade science. Today, we critically examine one such claim: the idea that the sun sets in a muddy spring.


Claim from the Quran:

Surah Al-Kahf 18:86
"Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people."

Scientific Analysis:
The sun’s surface temperature is over 6000°C (10,800°F).
Water boils at just 100°C (212°F).
Scientifically, it is impossible for a massive burning star like the sun to “set” in a spring or body of water without vaporizing it instantly — let alone for a human observer to reach that point.

Question:
Would the God who created both the sun and water make such a claim?


Supporting Claims from Hadith and Islamic Historians:

Al-Tabari, Volume 5, pp. 173-174:
"Dhul-Qarnain witnessed the sun setting in its resting place in a spring of thick, black, foul-smelling mud."

Al-Tabari, Volume 1, p. 236:
"The sun rises on a chariot drawn by horses from a spring, accompanied by 360 angels… and when God wants to test His servants, the sun falls from its chariot into a circular sea."

Scientific Analysis:

  • The radius of the sun is 432,450 miles (696,000 kilometers).

  • It could fit 1.3 million Earths inside it.

  • The sun’s mass is 1.989 x 10³⁰ kilograms.

Question:
Can a chariot pulled by horses carry something of this size and mass?
Clearly, these are statements incompatible with basic primary school science.


Conclusion:
The claims in the Quran and Hadith about the sun’s movement and resting place demonstrate a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of our solar system. If these are the words of the Creator of the universe, we would expect a more accurate description of the cosmos — at least at the level of fifth-grade science.

This suggests that the Quran is not a book of divine origin but a product of its time, reflecting the limited scientific understanding of 7th-century Arabia.


Final Thought:
In light of such evidence, it is worth asking ourselves whether it is wise to accept theological claims without testing them against observable truth. As the Bible encourages:
"Test everything. Hold fast to what is good." — 1 Thessalonians 5:21

ALLAH DOESN’T KNOW BASIC FIFTH GRADE SCIENCE

To test whether Allah truly created everything, today we’ll use basic science and see if He can pass the litmus test. Because it’s easy to tell if Islam is truly a religion from the Almighty God or if it was simply manufactured by Muhammad.

READ:

Surah Al-Kahf 18:86 says that the sun sets in a muddy spring.
Do you think this is scientifically accurate?
The surface of the sun burns at over 6000°C (10,800°F).
But water turns to vapor at just 100°C (212°F).
So what kind of water is this verse referring to?
Would the God who created both the sun and water really claim such a thing?

NOW MUHAMMAD HIMSELF ALSO CLAIMS THAT THE SUN SETS IN A MUDDY SPRING.

Dhul-Qarnain (Zul-Qarnain) “witnessed the sun setting in its resting place in a spring of thick black mud with a foul smell.”
Al-Tabari, Volume 5, pp. 173-174 (See Surah 18:82-97).

In the Al-Tabari quote above, we read that the sun rests in a muddy pool.
Is this scientifically possible?
The sun’s surface temperature exceeds 6000°C.
And water boils at 100°C.
So what water was Muhammad referring to here?
Would the Prophet of the God who made the sun and water say such a thing?

MUHAMMAD ALSO CLAIMS THE SUN FALLS FROM ITS THRONE INTO THE SEA.

“[Muhammad] continued: When the sun rises, it climbs on a chariot (drawn by horses) from one of those springs, accompanied by 360 angels... When God wishes to test the sun and the moon, to show His servants signs so that they may turn from disobedience and obey Him, the sun suddenly falls from its chariot into a sea whose depth is circular. When God wants to increase the gravity of the sign to terrify His servants even more, the entire sun falls in, and none of it remains on the chariot. That is the total eclipse, when daylight vanishes and stars appear.”
Al-Tabari, Volume 1, p. 236

And so, we continue to expose Allah and Muhammad:
In the hadith above, Muhammad says the sun is pulled by horses.

But scientifically:

  • The radius of the sun is 432,450 miles (696,000 kilometers).

  • Its volume is 1.4 x 10²⁷ cubic meters — meaning about 1.3 million Earths could fit inside the sun.

  • The sun’s mass is 1.989 x 10³⁰ kilograms.

Can a chariot drawn by horses carry something of this size and mass?
Clearly, these are claims from a man lacking even basic fifth-grade science.

Introduction

Muslims often claim that the phenomenon of two seas not mixing — as mentioned in the Quran — is a divine miracle proving the authenticity of Islam and the omniscience of Allah. This claim is typically linked to verses such as Surah Al-Kahf 18:60-82 where Musa (Moses) speaks about the meeting point of two seas.

However, upon closer examination through the lens of natural science — particularly physics and oceanography — it becomes evident that this occurrence is not miraculous at all, but rather a normal and explainable event dictated by the laws of nature.


Understanding the Science: The Role of Density

Before rushing to declare divine miracles, it is important to grasp some elementary physics:

  • Density (ρ) is the ratio of mass (m) to volume (V):

  • Saltwater has a higher density than freshwater because it contains dissolved salts.

Over time, currents, tides, and wind cause the waters to mix gradually. Initially, however, a visible boundary can exist, sometimes distinguishable by color, clarity, and texture.


Is This a Miracle?

The claim that this natural phenomenon is a miracle stems from a misunderstanding of basic physics.

It is not a miracle, but a well-documented, scientifically explainable occurrence.

Oceanographers and environmental scientists have studied this for centuries. It happens wherever two bodies of water with different physical properties meet. It is governed by the laws of density and fluid dynamics — principles universally accepted in science.


Quran’s Contradiction

Additionally, it’s worth noting that while Muslims claim miraculous knowledge in this, the Quran also contains several inconsistencies regarding descriptions of paradise, hell, and other scientific matters. It fails to provide coherent or consistent explanations on numerous subjects, including the number of gardens in paradise or what food will be served in hell, as detailed in other debates.


Conclusion

The claim that the "non-mixing of two seas" is a miracle proves to be nothing more than a case of scientific illiteracy and misplaced religious enthusiasm.

The phenomenon is scientifically explainable and does not serve as evidence for divine intervention or the authenticity of the Quran.

THE TWO SEAS NOT MIXING — IS THIS A MIRACLE OF ALLAH OR A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE?

Today I will respond to the weak argument Muslims make regarding the claim that the waters of two seas do not mix. Is this truly a miracle, or just a lack of basic physics knowledge?

To understand what actually happens regarding the non-mixing of waters, it’s best we start by learning 4th-grade Physics about density.

ALLAH in the Quran, Surah 18:60-82 says:
"And remember when Moses said to his servant: 'I will not stop until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period.'”

So, when Muslims saw pictures of what they claimed were the meeting of two seas, they connected this with this verse, claiming it as a miracle of Allah. Fortunately, here at Max Shimba Ministries, we have well-trained scholars in science, mathematics, and biology. So today we’ll respond to Muslims using science.

Let’s begin with the principle of Density:

WHAT IS DENSITY?

DENSITY = MASS / VOLUME

Density is a measure comparing the mass and the volume of a substance. Its physical symbol is ρ (rho).

A body with high density contains more matter in a given volume, while one with low density contains less matter in the same volume. Higher density is what makes us call an object "heavy."

The usual units for density are g/cm³ and kg/m³.

To put it logically:

Fresh water without salt has a density of 1. One liter weighs one kilogram.

WHAT IS MASS?

In physics, mass is a property of matter — and consequently also of an object or a substance.

The standard international unit of mass is the kilogram (kg), usually denoted by m in formulas.

WHAT IS VOLUME?

Volume describes the size or space occupied by a geometrical object (like a cube, sphere, or cylinder) by measuring the space within it.

It’s measured in units of cubic meters (m³) or cubic centimeters (cm³).

Any object with length, width, and height has volume.

SALT WATER:

Salt water is water that contains a certain amount of dissolved salt. Normally, every type of water contains some level of dissolved salt.

On average, ocean water has about 3.5% salt (35 g/L, 599 mM). This means every kilogram (roughly a liter) of seawater contains approximately 35 grams (1.2 oz) of dissolved salts — mostly sodium (Na⁺) and chloride (Cl⁻).


THE DIFFERENCE IN DENSITY BETWEEN THE TWO WATERS

Now, here is where physics comes in:
When water with high salt content (like seawater) meets water with lower salt content (like river water), they do not mix immediately because of the difference in their densities.

The water with higher salt content is denser, meaning it has more mass per given volume than freshwater. This causes the two to initially form a boundary when they meet, a phenomenon scientists call a halocline — a separation layer caused by the difference in salinity (saltiness).

This natural occurrence happens in many places on earth, for example at the point where rivers flow into seas or oceans. Over time, currents, tides, and winds gradually mix the waters together, but at the point of contact, there’s often a visible difference in color and texture due to salinity and temperature differences.

IS THIS A MIRACLE?

The answer is no — it’s basic physical science, specifically fluid dynamics and density difference.

It’s a known, studied, and explained phenomenon in oceanography, and it has nothing to do with divine intervention or miracles. Anyone with a basic knowledge of physics or earth science understands this principle.

CONCLUSION

So the Muslim claim that this is a miracle mentioned by Allah in the Quran is baseless and comes from a lack of knowledge about natural science.

It’s not a miracle, but a normal occurrence explainable by the laws of nature created by God.

We pray that our dear Muslim friends may leave these unscientific claims and come to the true knowledge of the living God through Jesus Christ.

ALLAH FAILED TO TELL US HOW MANY GARDENS ARE IN THE AFTERLIFE

Once again, Allah brings confusion in his Quran — which I can now boldly say is full of doubt, contradictions, and man-made like the tales of Aladdin.

ONE GARDEN:

In Surat Al-Hadid 57:21
“Race one with another for forgiveness from your Lord and for Paradise whose width is as the width of the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. That is the grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He pleases. And Allah is the Lord of immense grace.”

In this verse above, it says “Paradise” (singular), implying there is only one Garden (Jannah).
You’ll also see this in 41:30 [the Garden], 57:21 [a Garden], and 79:41 [the Garden].

BUT WHEN I READ FURTHER IN THE QURAN, I FOUND THIS CONTRADICTION:

MANY GARDENS:

In Surat Al-Kahf 18:31
“For them will be Gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, reclining therein upon adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place.”

And more such references: 22:23, 35:33, 78:32 — each time using the plural “Gardens”.

The verse above says “Gardens” (plural). Now you already understand — it is no longer one garden as claimed in Surat Al-Hadid 57:21.

Dear reader, we have already dismantled Allah and his man-made Quran, just as Islam itself was fabricated.

I have nothing more to add except to pray for our Muslim brothers and sisters to come to Jesus, the Almighty God.

CONTRADICTION IN THE QURAN: WHAT WILL BE THE FOOD OF THE PEOPLE IN HELL?

Today, Allah has supposedly told us what the people in Jahannam (Hell) will eat. Let’s read the verses below:

Quran 88:6
“They will have no food except from a bitter, thorny plant.”

Quran 69:36
“Nor any food except the discharge (pus) from the wounds of those in the Fire.”

Now notice where the contradiction comes in:

Quran 37:62-68

62. Is this (Paradise) the better welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum?
63. Truly, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.
64. It is a tree that grows in the bottom of Hell.
65. Its fruits are like the heads of devils.
66. And they will surely eat from it and fill their bellies with it.
67. Then they will drink boiling, scalding water on top of it.
68. Then indeed their return will be to the blazing Fire.

Brothers and sisters, the Quran is a very strange book, because it contradicts itself in many places. Today we have seen what people will eat in Jahannam, and on this single subject alone, the Quran presents three contradictions:

  1. “Eating the fruits of the tree of Zaqqum” (37:66) contradicts “Eating only bitter thorny plants (Dhari)” (88:6).

  2. “Eating the fruits of the tree of Zaqqum” (37:66) contradicts “Eating only filthy pus” (69:36).

  3. “Eating only bitter thorny plants (Dhari)” (88:6) contradicts “Eating only filthy pus” (69:36).

The Quran is full of contradictions and is not a book from Almighty God.
