Jesus' Home

Jesus owed a home – his own home – in Capernium, which was his base of operations. That's not a quotation from the Bible, therefore I will show scripture that leads one to that conclusion. Just as the Bible does not use the word "Trinity" when referring to the Godhead and people still accurately deduce the Trinity from scripture, so you may deduce here that Jesus was a home owner.

Understanding that Jesus owned a home is not as weighty a matter as understanding the Trinity, but it's still relatively important because people base their doctrines on what they believe about Jesus. If they view him as a homeless beggar, they are going to emulate him by becoming monks and taking vows of poverty. They will be begging for bread from the producers in society, and at the same time condemning those producers for not being as holy as they are. But if they believe just the opposite, then their whole outlook on Christianity is changed.

This Bible study has three parts: The Foundation, The Fact and The Fullness and concluded with The Finish.

The Foundation

There is only one place in the Bible that suggests Jesus was homeless, recorded in Matthew 8:20 and Luke 9:58. This is the quote from Luke 9:51-58.

As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?” But Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they went to another village.
As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”
Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

Answer:
A. If the Sabbath law was a moral law intended for all mankind, then:

1. Why did God NEVER charge the Gentiles with breaking it.
2. Interesting that God charges the Gentiles many times for breaking all the 9 moral commandments on the tablets of stone, but NEVER ONCE says anything about breaking the Sabbath!
3. This proves it is not inherently moral but just another ceremonial law given ONLY TO THE Jews!

B. The very words of the ten commandments clearly tells us that the commandments were for the Jewish people ONLY!

1. God never brought me or my ancestors out of Egypt! Ex 20:2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery."
2. The Lord has not given me the promised land of Canaan! Ex 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you"
3. Since the Sabbath is a sign between God and fleshly Israel, there is nothing requiring non-Jews to keep it! (Ex. 31:13,17; Ezek. 20:12, 20)
4. If it was intended for all mankind, then why specifically say "strangers within your gates". Obviously the Gentiles (strangers) were never required at any point in earth history to keep the Sabbath! The Bible and all known history prove this true!

Je, unamfahamu Roho Mtakatifu?

Je, Roho Mtakatifu ni nani kwako?

Katika kijarida hiki kifupi, ningependa tumzungumzie Roho Mtakatifu kama alivyo semwa na kutajwa katika Biblia Takatifu.

Kuna utatanishi mkubwa sana na maelezo mengi sana kuhusu Roho Mtakatifu. Kuna imani zingine kama Mashahidi wa Yehova, wao husema kuwa Roho Mtakatifu ni Nguvu Fulani na au ni uwezo wa Mungu katika kufanya mambo. Wengine kama Waislamu, wao husema kuwa Roho Mtakatifu ni Malaika Gabriel.  Wengine husema kuwa Roho Mtakatifu ni sehemu ya Nafsi ya Mungu. Lakini, Biblia inasema nini kuhusu Roho Mtakatifu. Ni vyema tujifunze kuhusu Roho Mtakatifu kwa kutumia aya za Biblia na sio theologia na akili zetu.

ROHO MTAKATIFU NI MUNGU

Tuanze kwa ushaidi wa aya: Matendo ya Mitume 5:3-4.  Petro akamwambia, “Anania, mbona shetani ametawala moyo wako kiasi cha kukubali kumdanganya Roho Mtakatifu, ukaficha sehemu ya fedha ulizopata? ⁴ Kabla hujauza hilo shamba lilikuwa mali yako. Na hata baada ya kuliuza, fedha ulizopata zilikuwa zako. Kwa nini basi umeamua moyoni mwako kufanya jambo kama hili? Ujue hukumdanganya mtu ila umemdanganya Mungu.”

Katika aya hizo hapo juu, Petro anapambana na anania aliyemdanganya Roho mtakatifu na anasisitiza yakuwa “hukumdanya mtu bali Mungu. Kwa maana nyingine, Petro alikuwa anamwambia Anania kuwa, kumdanganya Roho Mtakayifu ni sawa na kumdanganya Mungu. Huu ni uthibitisho wa kwanza kuwa, kumbe Roho Mtakatifu ni Mungu.

ROHO MTAKATIFU YUPO KILA MAHALI

Hebu tuangalie kama Roho Mtakatifu ana adhama za Mungu aliye hai. Sifa, moja ya Mungu ni kuwa, yeye yupo kila Mahali. Je, Roho Mtakatifu anayo hii sifa ya kuwa kila mahali? Fungua Zaburi 139:7-8, “nitaenda wapi nijifiche na Roho? ama nitakimbilia wapi mbali na uwepo wako? Nikipanda juu mbinguni, huko uko; nikifanya malazi yangu kuzimu, tazama uko huko,”

Daudi anatuambia kwa kupitia Zaburi kuwa, huwezi kumkimbia Mungu. Daudi anamtaja Mungu na au anamwita Mungu kuwa ni Roho. Hii sifa ya kuwa kila mahali ni ya Mungu pekee, na katika Zaburi 139: 7-8, tumesoma kuwa, Roho Mtakatifu yupo kila mahali.

Tuendele na ushahidi zaidi wa kuwa kila mahali; katika Wakorintho wa Kwanza, hapa Mtume Paulo anasema yafuatayo 1 Wakorintho 2 aya ya 10 Lakini Mungu ameyajulisha kwetu kupitia Roho wake mtakatifu. Kwa kuwa Roho huyachunguza mambo yote, naam, mambo ya siri ya Mungu. Kwa maana ni nani ayajuaye ya mwanadamu isipokuwa roho ya mwanadamu inayokaa ndani yake? Vivyo hivyo, hakuna ajuaye mambo ya Mungu isipokuwa Roho wa Mungu.”

Kama Roho Mtakatifu anafahamu kila kitu kilicho ndani ya Binadamu, ambao wametapakaa Duniani kote, basi kitendo cha kuwa kila mahali kwa wakati mmoja ni Mungu pekee ndie aliye na huo uwezo.

Tuendelee kwa Ushihidi mwingine katika aya hiyo hiyo ya 10 ya Wakorintho wa kwanza Sura ya 2. Roho Mtakatifu ni Mungu kwasababu ana akili, hisia, na mapenzi yake.

Katika Wakorintho wa kwanza 2:10 tumesoma kuwa Roho Mtakatifu hufikiria na hujua siri iliyo ndani yako. Hii sifa ya kufikiria na kujua, inavunja hoja ya Mashahidi wa Yehova kuwa Roho Mtakatifu ni “Nguvu”. Nguvu haina uwezo wa kufikiria wala kufanya maamuzi.

ROHO MTAKATIFU UHUZUNIKA

KUMBE QURAN IMEJAA SHAKA NA HAIPO WAZIWAZI

1. Je, madai ya kuwa Quran imekalika na ipo waziwazi ni ya kweli?
2. Allah ateremsha aya na kudai kuwa, Quran haijakamilika na haipo waziwazi.
3. Allah asema kuwa aya zingine ndani ya Quran hakuna ajua maana yake isipokuwa Allah.

Ndugu wasomaji;

Leo tutaangalia utata ulio jaa ndani ya Quran ambayo wanadhuoni wengi hudai kuwa imenyooka, huku Allah akiwapinga na kuteremsha aya ambayo inasema kuwa Quran haijanyooka na haipo waziwazi.

Kwanza tuanze kwa kuangalia aya ambayo inasema kuwa Quran ipo wazi na aya zake zimepambanuliwa ni uongofu kwa walio ongoka.

Surat HUD (11:1). Alif Lam Ra. Hiki ni Kitabu ambacho Aya zake zimewekwa wazi, kisha zikapambanuliwa, kilicho toka kwa Mwenye Hikima na Mwenye Khabari

Surat Al Anaam (6:114). Je, nimtafute hakimu ghairi ya Mwenyezi Mungu, naye ndiye aliye kuteremshieni Kitabu kilicho elezwa waziwazi? Na hao tulio wapa Kitabu wanajua ya kwamba kimeteremshwa na Mola wako Mlezi kwa Haki. Basi usiwe katika wanao tia shaka.

Surat An nah’k (16:89). Na (waonye) siku tutakapo wainua mashahidi katika kila umma wakiwashuhudia kwa yanayo tokana na wao, na tutakuleta wewe uwe shahidi juu ya hao. Na tumekuteremshia Kitabu hiki kinacho bainisha kila kitu, na ni uwongofu, na rehema, na bishara kwa Waislamu Surah tulizo ziweka hapo juu, zinasema na kudai kuwa Quran  imepambanuliwa na ni kitabu kilizo elezwa waziwazi. Ikimaanisha kuwa, unapoisoma Quran, hautapata maswali au kusoma utata katika aya zilizo teremshwa na Allah.

LAKINI HAYO MADAI, YANAPINGANA NA UTATA KATIKA AYA IFUATAYO INAYO DAI KUWA, NDANI YA KURAN KUNA AYA AMBAZO ALLAH PEKE YAKE NDIE ANAZO ZIFAHAMU

Hebu tuisome hiyo aya:
Surat Al Imra (3:7) Yeye ndiye aliye kuteremshia Kitabu hichi. Ndani yake zimo Aya muhkam, zenye maana wazi. Hizo ndizo msingi wa Kitabu hichi. Na ziko nyengine za mifano. Ama wale ambao nyoyoni mwao umo upotovu wanafuata zile za mifano kwa kutafuta fitna, na kutafuta maana yake; na wala hapana ajuaye maana yake ila Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wale wenye msingi madhubuti katika ilimu husema: Sisi tumeziamini, zote zimetoka kwa Mola wetu Mlezi. Lakini hawakumbuki hayo isipo kuwa wenye akili.

Ndugu zanguni, huu ni msiba mwingine katika Uislam, Allah katika Surat Al Imra iliyoteremka Madina anasema kuwa:

MUHAMMAD AKIRI KUWA ALLAH SIO MUNGU WA KWENYE INJIL NA TAURAT BALI NI MUNGU WA KIPAGANI

Je, Wakristo na Waislam, wanaabudu Mungu mmoja?
Je, Allah ni Mungu wa Kipagani?

Ndugu wasomaji, kwa mara nyingine tena, Nabii wa Allah amekiri kuwa Wakristo na Waislam hawaabudu Mungu mmoja na Allah ni mungu wa Kipagani.

Katika hiki kijarida tunaangalia ushahidi mbalimbali kuwa, Allah sio Mungu wa Adam, Musa na Mitume wote walio tajwa kwenye Biblia Takatifu.

Kutokana na Surat Al Kafirun iliyoteremka Makka, Nabii Muhammad anakiri kwa mdomo wake kuwa Wakristo na Wayahudi hawaabudu Mungu mbaye anaabudiwa na Waislamu.

Sura 109 1. Sema: Enyi makafiri!  2. Siabudu mnacho kiabudu; 

3. Wala nyinyi hamuabudu ninaye muabudu.  4. Wala sitaabudu mnacho abudu. 5. Wala nyinyi hamuabudu ninaye muabudu.  6. Nyinyi mna dini yenu, nami nina Dini yangu.  

Surah hii inamatatizo mengi sana ambayo ypo wazi kuwa, madai ya Wiaslam ya Mungu wa Wakrist na Mungu wao ni mmoja, ni batili na hayana ushahid.
TATIZO LA KWANZA: Hivi, hii Surah inamzungumzia nani?

(a)            Watu wa Kitabu (Wayahudi, Wakristo na labda Wasebia)?

(b)            Makafir wa Makkah?

Quran hapa imeshindwa kutueleza kuwa, Muhamamd alikuwa naongoa na ummah upi.

TATIZO LA PILI: Hata kama ni moja ya dai la (a) au (b) hapo juu, hii Surah ya 109 imejaa utata na kupinga aya mbaimbali za Quran ambazo zinadai kuwa Wakristo, Wayahudi na wengine wote wanaabudu Mungu mmoja ambaye anaabudiwa na Waislamu.

Surat Al Baqara 62. Hakika Walio amini, na Mayahudi na Wakristo, na Wasabai; yeyote atakaye muamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho na akatenda mema basi watapata malipwa yao kwa Mola wao Mlezi, wala haitakuwa khofu juu yao, wala hawatahuzunika.

2: 139. Sema: Mnahojiana nasi juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, naye ni Mola wetu Mlezi na Mola wenu Mlezi, na sisi tuna vitendo vyetu na nyinyi mna vitendo vyenu? Nasi tunamsafia Yeye tu

Surah 3: 64. Sema: Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Njooni kwenye neno lilio sawa baina yetu na nyinyi: Ya kwamba tusimuabudu yeyote ila Mwenyezi Mungu, wala tusimshirikishe na chochote; wala tusifanyane sisi kwa sisi kuwa Waola Walezi badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wakigeuka basi semeni: Shuhudieni ya kwamba sisi ni Waislamu.

KWENYE Surat Al Ankabut 46. Wala msijadiliane na Watu wa Kitabu ila kwa njia iliyo nzuri kabisa, isipo kuwa wale walio dhulumu miongoni mwao. Na semeni: Tumeyaamini yaliyo teremshwa kwetu na yaliyo teremshwa kwenu. Na Mungu wetu na Mungu wenu ni Mmoja. Na sisi ni wenye kusilimu kwake.

Answering the Challenges of a Muslim Dawagandist

Sami Zaatari has produced an article where he seeks to prove from the Quran that Muslims are forbidden to, and therefore do not, worship Muhammad.

He cites specific verses and hadiths which he erroneously thinks support his position, while ignoring all the scores of passages and narrations which show that Muhammad was worshiped by his followers. 

In fact, all Zaatari has done by quoting these citations is to prove that Islam contradicts itself since it expressly forbids worshiping any creature, and claims that Muhammad was nothing more than an imperfect mortal, and yet places Muhammad on the same level with his god by turning him into another object of religious worship and devotion.

Zaatari issues a series of challenges to anyone who would argue that Muslims do in fact worship Muhammad. We have, therefore, decided to respond to those challenges.

He writes:

-Show a single Quranic passage that commands Muslims to worship Muhammad

-Show a single hadith that commands Muslims to worship Muhammad

-Show any companion that worshiped the Prophet Muhammad with the consensus of the other companions

It is our pleasure to provide answers to Zaatari’s challenges. So here they are.

Making Du’a (Invoking) and Praying to Muhammad

Muhammad instructed his followers to pray to him directly during their daily acts of worship:

Narrated Shaqiq bin Salama:
'Abdullah said, "Whenever we prayed behind the Prophet we used to recite (in sitting) 'Peace be on Gabriel, Michael, peace be on so and so. Once Allah's Apostle looked back at us and said, 'Allah Himself is As-Salam (Peace), and if anyone of you prays then he should say, At-Tahiyatu lil-lahi wassalawatu wat-taiyibatu. As-Salamu 'ALAIKA aiyuha-n-Nabiyu wa rahmatu-l-lahi wa barakatuhu. As-Salam alaina wa ala ibadil-lah is-salihin. (All the compliments, prayers and good things are due to Allah: peace be on YOU, O Prophet and Allah's mercy and blessings be on YOU. Peace be on us and on the true pious slaves of Allah). (If you say that, it will be for all the slaves in the heaven and the earth). Ash-hadu an la-ilaha illa-l-lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluhu. (I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I also testify that Muhammad is His slave and His Apostle)." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 12, Number 794)

This isn’t the only time that Muslims were instructed to pray and/or make invocations to their prophet.

There is a specific narration which says that Muhammad actually taught a blind man to pray to Allah as well as to himself, an invocation which Muslims continued to use long after Muhammad’s death:

Tirmidhi relates, through his chain of narrators from 'Uthman ibn Hunayf, that a blind man came to the Prophet and said, "I've been afflicted in my eyesight, so please pray to Allah for me." The Prophet said: "Go make ablution (wudu), perform two rak'as of prayer, and then say:

"Oh Allah, I ask You and turn to You through my Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O MUHAMMAD (YA MUHAMMAD), I SEEK YOUR INTERCESSION with my Lord for the return of my eyesight [and in another version: "for my need, that it may be fulfilled. O Allah, grant him intercession for me"]."

The Prophet added, "And if there is some need, do the same." (Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri, Reliance of the Traveller: The Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law (Umdat Al-Salik) in Arabic with facing English text, Commentary and Appendices, edited and translated by Nuh Hah Mim Keller [Amana Corporation; Revised edition, July 1, 1997], w40.3, p. 935; bold and capital emphasis ours)

Muhammad expressly instructed the blind man to address him directly in his prayer in the same way that he addresses Allah!

The blind man wasn’t told to simply ask Allah to heal him on behalf or for the sake of Muhammad. Rather, he was specifically directed to address Muhammad directly by asking for his intercession.

Now just in case Zaatari attempts to explain this away by saying that this took place when Muhammad was still alive, the following is a report of a man who offered up this same exact invocation during the caliphate of Uthman bin Affan:

Silly Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad

The scope of this paper is to show how the Prophet of Hajj Allah went about in his daily life instructing his followers. It’s amazing how Muslims want us to follow Muhammad claiming that he was the seal of prophets. But when you look at his character compared to Jesus we see that Christ is the best example.   Mohammad’s teachings are found in the Hadith. Next to the Quran, the Hadith, especially Bukhari is viewed as inspired. The purpose here is to show you just how the prophet of Hajj Allah acted and instructed. Volume 1, Book 4, Number 215:

     Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

Once the Prophet, while passing through one of the grave-yards of Medina or Mecca heard the voices of two persons who were being tortured in their graves. The Prophet said, "These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to avoid)." The Prophet then added, "Yes! (they are being tortured for a major sin). Indeed, one of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmiy between friends). The Prophet then asked for a green leaf of a date-palm tree, broke it into two pieces and put one on each grave. On being asked why he had done so, he replied, "I hope that their torture might be lessened, till these get dried."  Volume 1, Book 4, Number 217:

Now one must wonder, how could a bladder problem cause a person to be tortured?  That means that all people who have natural bladder problems and deficiencies will be tortured after death!! This is amazing because according to the seal of prophets it is a major sin to wet your pants!! What if a kid who wasn’t potty trained died early? According to the prophet of Hajj Allah, he would be tortured in his grave!!!  The only place where someone is tortured in their grave or in the afterlife in Islam as well as Judeo-Christianity is Hell!!!

Thirty-Two Sins of Muham-mad(Pbuh)

2.  I ordained polygamy, which was not God’s plan

3.  I also conceived the special dispensation for me to marry any woman I wished

4. I made many pronouncements that were driven by my lust for women

5.  I even captured and raped Jewish married women and kept them in my harem

6.  I determined that a woman’s testimony only counted as half that of a man

7.  I ordained that men could beat their women if they were disobedient

8.  I began attacking caravans (at Nakhla) against God’s wishes

9.  I ordered the killing of poets who criticized me

10. I made God angry by refusing to make peace with Jews and Christians

The loving Holy Spirit - He loves you dearly!

The Holy Spirit cares for us and loves us dearly. We are precious to Him, and there are many scriptures to give us an insight into the loving nature of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit wanted to make us in God's image

Let's start at the beginning. When God made man in His image, they (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) said, "Let us make man in our image!" The Holy Spirit (along with the Father and Son) wanted to make you and I in His image and give us dominion over all other creation here on earth! You'll find this passage in the first chapter of Genesis:

Genesis 1:26, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

It was the Holy Spirit who sent Jesus to heal and restore us!

If you turn to Luke chapter 4, you'll find that it was the precious Holy Spirit who send Jesus forth to minister healing, deliverance and restoration to us. Let's look at this passage in the Bible:

Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

ALLAH IS NOT TRIUNE

The final proof that Allah is not Yahweh Elohim of the Holy Bible is that Allah is not a trinity. According to the Holy Bible, there is only One true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Galatians 3:20).

Yet, at the same time Scripture affirms that this One God eternally exists in three Persons:
The Father
"...elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father..." 1 Peter 1:2
The Son
"... looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ..." Titus 2:13
The Holy Spirit
"But Peter said, 'Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit... you have not lied to men but to God." Acts 5:3-4
Three in One
"... baptizing them in the Name (singular - implying unity) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit ..." Matthew 28:19
But the Allah of the Quran is not any of the three Persons mentioned above. For example S. 112 states,
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, The Eternal, Absolute-, He begetteth not, Nor is He Begotten; And there is none like unto Him. S. 112: 1-4

Allah does not "beget" meaning that Allah has no children either in a spiritual or carnal sense. Thus, Allah can never be the Father. Nor does he allow himself to be "begotten", i.e. does not take on human nature such as God the Son did when he became man for our salvation. Finally, in orthodox Islam the Holy Spirit is not God, but the angel Gabriel. This fact separates Allah from ever possibly being the same God that Christians worship.

Furthermore, we read in I John 2:22-23:
"Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also."
