Malala Makes First Trip to Pakistan Since Islamists Shot Her in the Head

Nobel Winner Malala Returns to Pakistan for First Time Since Being Shot

Islamabad: Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai returned to Pakistan on Thursday, six years after she was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen for advocating greater education of girls.
Pakistani station Geo TV showed footage of Yousafzai at Islamabad’s international airport walking to a car escorted by a security convoy.
Yousafzai is due to meet Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in a ceremony at his office but is unlikely to travel to her home region of Swat due to security concerns, local media reported.
At age 17, Yousafzai became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for her education advocacy, becoming a global icon and education champion.
Now 20, she is making her first visit to Pakistan since 2012, when masked gunmen stopped and boarded a bus taking her home from school and shot her.
Last week on Twitter, Yousafzai expressed a longing for her homeland. She now lives in Great Britain.
“On this day, I cherish fond memories of home, of playing cricket on rooftops and singing the national anthem in school. Happy Pakistan Day!” she wrote on March 23.
After surviving the attack, Yousafzai was airlifted abroad and underwent surgery.
The Pakistani Taliban, who seized control of her hometown in Pakistan’s Swat Valley before being pushed out by the army in 2009, later claimed the attack in response to her blog for the BBC Urdu service advocating girls’ education.
The hardline Islamist movement blew up girls’ schools and imposed a strict interpretation of sharia law during their rule over Swat.
Unable to return to Pakistan after her recovery, Yousafzai moved to Britain, setting up the Malala Fund and supporting local education advocacy groups with a focus on Pakistan, Nigeria, Jordan, Syria and Kenya.
Earlier this month, a new girls’ school built with her Nobel prize money opened in Shangla, near her home district of Swat.
During her trip to Pakistan, which is expected to last several days, Yousafzai is expected to stay in Islamabad and meet friends and family at a hotel in the capital, Geo reported.
Yousafzai is currently studying at Oxford University.
While she is arguably the most recognisable Pakistani in the world, Yousafzai – known almost universally as Malala – is a polarising figure at home.
She is frequently attacked by conservative Pakistanis as portraying her country in a bad light and seeking her own fame.

Muhammadan 'Man' Rapes 12-Year-Old After Being Released from Prison for Rape…

Osman Ali, 25, was imprisoned for more than eight yeas in 2012 for raping a college student. He was released for 'good behaviour' before going on to rape a 12-year-old girl

Osman Ali, 25, was imprisoned for more than eight yeas in 2012 for raping a college student. He was released for 'good behavior' before going on to rape a 12-year-old girl

A rapist groomed and repeatedly attacked a 12-year-old girl after being freed early from prison for 'good behavior' after he was locked up for a knife point gang rape.

Osman Ali, 25, was imprisoned for more than eight yeas in 2012 after he and two other men took it in turns to rape a college student whilst filming the attack.

But he was freed in 2016 after serving just half of his sentence.

Within months Ali was targeting the 12-year-old after they met through the social media site and he convinced her he was her boyfriend.

The pair arranged illicit liaisons behind her parents' back who were under the mistaken belief she was having extra school lessons.

Over a seven month period they would meet up at his sister's house in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, where he would take pictures of the girl in her school uniform before raping her multiple times.

Ali was arrested again by police last May after his latest victim was admitted to hospital when a passer by found her walking in a daze in the street and threatening to harm herself.

She was found to have his mobile phone number written on her arm.
In a statement the girl, now 13, said: 'I was only 12 at the time and he had me lying to my parents about where I was.

'He used me and he did terrible things to me that I have had to talk to police officers about.
'We had to get social workers involved and it may affect me in years to come or when I meet future partners. '

She added: 'My school became aware and some of my friends drifted away from me.

'I had to visit the court and I used to have bad dreams and wake up in the night.

'I feel like I am being punished over it all. My dad has had to support me. I feel like I am missing part of my teenage years.

'The memories of what he has done to me will live on for years.'

At Minshull Street Crown Court Ali, from Rochdale was sent back to jail for 14 and-a-half-years after admitting seven charges of rape.

When freed again, he will be on licence until 2037 under an extended sentence.
He was also ordered to comply with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
The court heard he began preying on the girl in September 2016 after she met his brother via Facebook and Snapchat.

The youngster initially claimed she was 17 and Ali asked her to send pictures of herself before they began meeting up.

Pastor Forgives Muslim for Sword Assault at Church…

IT BEGAN AS an ordinary Mass, Feb. 18, 2018 at St. Lidwina Catholic Church in the Yogyakarta region of Java, the main island of Indonesia. The pews were full.
The celebrant that day was German-born Father Karl-Edmund Prier, S.J., a liturgical music expert who has lived in Indonesia since 1964. Father Prier regularly says Mass at St. Lidwina Church, which is part of the Archdiocese of Semarang.
The people had just finished singing the Kyrie, when suddenly a young man—a Muslim, it turned out afterward—entered the church. He walked toward the altar, shouted out and drew a long sword, which he swung toward the congregation.
Father Prier tells the story: "At that moment, the culprit walked up to the altar, shouting, swinging his long sword. After entering, the man walked between the rows of chairs in the church. And then came towards me. He looked at me and saw I was wearing liturgical clothes.  Suddenly, he stopped. Maybe he thought that this is God's house …”
"I thought, maybe that person would undo his intention and wouldn’t attack me and the people. However, my guess was wrong: he twice hit me on the back, and once hit my head with the sword." Two churchgoers and a police officers were also wounded. The attacker was shot in the stomach.
Father Prier was hospitalized for four days because of his head injury. Looking back at the incident, he says: "I am not afraid, nor do I get angry. A shepherd cannot run away from his sheep."
"A person can sometimes be afraid of being possessed by a bad spirit, but if he or she remains calm, the Holy Spirit will offer protection. I am not angry with the perpetrator. I forgive him. Suppose I met him and he apologized, I would say, 'No, say nothing, I forgive you.’”
"In the Lord's Prayer that Jesus taught His disciples, Jesus asked them to forgive the guilty one. The Lord's Prayer must be implemented, which means the culprit is not repaid in kind. As to the people, I told them not to be afraid. Like I'm not afraid, either."
Two weeks after the incident, Archbishop Robertus Rubiyatmoko of Semarang Msgr. Robertus  presided at Mass at St. Lidwina’s Catholic Church. Father Prier was among 20 priests concelebrating.
Meanwhile, a prominent Muslim leader, Mohamad Syafii Maarif, expressed his disappointment over this incident. He met with the archbishop shortly after the attack.
"We are very grateful for Syafii’s presence so spontaneously, quickly and responsively at that time; it really calmed everything down. The people are calm and not provoked, but there is a growing sense of brotherhood and solidarity,” Archbishop Rubiyatmoko said.

(Nigeria) Muslim Family Returned Kidnapped Christian Girl to Captors

Schoolgirls kidnapped from Dapchi board a military plane following a handover to government officials in Maiduguri on 21 March.

The only Christian among the 110 schoolgirls abducted last month by Boko Haram ran away from her kidnappers but was caught and brought back three days later, according to fellow captives speaking in their first face-to-face interview since they were returned to their families last week.
Leah Sharibu is the only one of the Dapchi girls that Boko Haram refused to hand over after negotiations with the Nigerian government, apparently because she refused to renounce her faith and convert to Islam. She is still held by the group.
Kidnapped by a militant group that has killed tens of thousands and displaced millions across north-east Nigeria and the surrounding region, the girls’ extraordinary bravery shines through their testimony.
Speaking to the Guardian from their homes in Yobe state, the girls who had to leave their friend behind described how Leah and two others escaped together.
“She didn’t tell us she was leaving,” said Aisha Ibiwa. “We thought she was just going round the corner, but she sneaked out along with Maryam and Amira [two classmates].”
After walking for three days, the three hungry and exhausted girls approached a family of the nomadic Fulani people, asking for their help getting home to Dapchi. But instead they were taken straight back to their kidnappers, according to Hajara Adamu, another of Leah’s friends.
“The Fulani man said to them: ‘So you are the missing girls that we’ve heard about on the radio.’ He gave them a jerrycan filled with cow’s milk and brought them back,” Hajara said.
“Leah and her group weren’t flogged. They [Boko Haram] said it was because they had suffered a lot while trying to escape.”
Hajara had worse luck: when she tried to run away, she was whipped. She was frogmarched back to the camp with a gun at her back, after making the mistake of asking some local women for directions.
“They started laughing at us and even insulting us, saying that we wanted to go back to the land of unbelievers,” Hajara said.

KWANINI UISLAM UNAPOTEZA WAUMINI?

KWANINI UISLAM UNAPOTEZA WAUMINI?
BIBLIA INASEMA NINI: Yesu Kristo alionya hivi kuhusu walimu wa uwongo: “Kwa matunda yao mtawatambua. . . .

Does God allow men to have many wives?

Image may contain: 3 people, outdoor
What is God’s attitude toward polygamy? God is the one who brought marriage into the world. He made the first man, Adam (Genesis 1:26). He saw that it was not good for Adam to be alone. He then made a “wife” for Adam.
Notice God did not make “wives” for Adam. If He had wanted Adam to have more than one wife, He would have made him more than one. One was enough. God knows best.

JE, MUNGU ANAKUBALI NDOA YA WAKE WENGI?

Image may contain: 3 people
