Religion of Peace Cleric Promises to Turn Tel Aviv into 'Ghost Town'…

A prominent Iranian cleric said last week that Hezbollah, the terrorist organization that exercises complete political and military control over Lebanon, will “turn Haifa and Tel Aviv into ghost-towns,” The Jerusalem Post reported Saturday.

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, who made the threat in his Friday sermon, is a senior member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, was referring to Hezbollah’s rocket arsenal that includes missiles with a range of 70 kilometers (43 miles).

“You’ve tried your chances twice,” and failed, Khatami said, referring to Israel’s wars fought against Hezbollah in 1982 and 2006. “Despite the fact that Hezbollah is stronger today than ever, if you want Tel Aviv and Haifa razed to the ground, try your chances again.”

Khatami’s threat on behalf of Hezbollah was in response to an assessment by the head of IDF operations, Maj.-Gen. Nitzan Alon, in February that Israel faced an increased likelihood of war this year. Allon told Army Radio at the time that “this year has the potential for escalation, and not necessarily because either side wants to initiate it, but because of a gradual deterioration. This has led us to raise the level of preparedness.”

Referring to Hamas’s so-called Great March of Return, Khatami said of Israel, “”The Zionists can only be answered with the language of resistance and force.”

The cleric also referred to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s repeated prediction that Israel will be destroyed within 25 years, saying, “Perhaps it is God’s will that, with all the madness they are causing, [Israel] will be destroyed even before.”

Hezbollah leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah threatened two years ago to attack a now-closed ammonia storage tanks in Haifa, saying that striking the tanks would create “a nuclear bomb effect.”

A few months later Nasrallah said, “we are open about the fact that Hezbollah’s budget, its income, its expenses, everything it eats and drinks, its weapons and rockets, are from the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Boko Haram Has Kidnapped 1000 Girls Since 2013…

As Nigeria prepares to mark the fourth anniversary of the Chibok kidnapping, Unicef reported on Friday that more than 1,000 children have been abducted by jihadists since 2013.

"Since 2013, more than 1,000 children have been abducted by Boko Haram in northeastern Nigeria, including 276 girls taken from their secondary school in the town of Chibok in 2014," said the United Nations children's fund in a statement.

"These repeated attacks against children in schools are unconscionable," said Mohamed Malick Fall, a Unicef representative in Nigeria.

Boko Haram's fight to establish a hardline Islamic state in northeast Nigeria has claimed at least 20,000 lives and displaced more than two million people.

Schools, particularly those with a secular curriculum, have been targeted by Boko Haram, whose name roughly translates from Hausa - the language spoken widely across northern Nigeria - as "Western education is forbidden".

At least 2,295 teachers have been killed and more than 1,400 schools destroyed by the Islamist extremists since the conflict started in 2009, according to Unicef.

While a 2015 offensive launched by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari successfully reclaimed swaths of territory back from the jihadists in Nigeria, the group still stages deadly attacks on military targets and civilians.

In February, the Islamists shocked Nigerians by driving unopposed into the northeastern town of Dapchi and kidnapping more than 100 schoolgirls.

The response from the authorities - denials then contradictions - was eerily similar to the confusion when the Chibok girls were kidnapped.

Most of the girls have since been returned, but the brazen abduction revived painful memories of the Chibok kidnapping in 2014.

Of the 276 girls kidnapped by Boko Haram from the northeastern town of Chibok on April 14, 2014, more than 100 are still missing.

Abubakar Shekau, the mercurial Boko Haram leader responsible for using girls as suicide bombers, has claimed in videos that the girls have converted to Islam and have been "married off".

For those following Boko Haram, the Dapchi kidnapping wasn't entirely a surprise.

Over the past year, the jihadists have ramped up attacks, killing soldiers, kidnapping government workers and terrorising the northeastern city of Maiduguri with relentless suicide bombings.

Under pressure to live up to his election promise of beating Boko Haram, this month Mr Buhari reiterated his support for the release of $1 billion in emergency funds to fight the Islamists.

Mr Buhari's government has recovered scores of the girls. But the negotiations with the jihadists - which reportedly involved ransom payments and the release of high-ranking commanders - rankled critics who questioned the wisdom of funding and rejuvenating the ranks of the extremists.

Islamists Convert South African Children, Then Train for Jihad…

MBOMBELA – A former ANC counter-intelligence operative approached the Gauteng government last year with explosive allegations that schoolchildren are being recruited by Islamic radicals for paramilitary training in Pakistan.

They target the more impoverished children who are more susceptible to indoctrination, Lowvelder was told.

According to the operative, Mike Naraine (not his real name), he held a meeting in September last year with the Gauteng MEC for education, Panyaza Lesufi, his CFO Johan van Coller and the CD: risk and compliance management, Stephina Selepe-Khubedu, and conveyed his concern regarding the exploitation of young schoolchildren. He also handed them certain documentation outlining the allegations as well as sworn affidavits as proof.

“I provided the information to the MEC because the authorities need to be made aware of the dangers facing our children,” Naraine told Lowvelder.

He approached Lowvelder after realising that the authorities seemed unwilling to act on his information.

According to Naraine, the involved Pakistani nationals in South Africa have an embedded network that they use to bribe from immigration officials to generals in the police.

“They operate overtly under the guise of a local Pakistani organisation in South Africa, but the group’s covert operation falls under Sipah-e-Sahaba, a radical organisation regarded in Pakistan as a Sunni supremacist group at war with the minority Shia Muslim grouping in the country,” he said.

In South Africa the organisation established a madrassa in Lenasia, Johannesburg, and converted it into a religious school to recruit black children to be taught to become Muslims. They teach the children in Urdu and when they reach the age of 15 or 16 years they send them to Pakistan for paramilitary training, he said.

Once back in South Africa, the trained children target other children to join and fight against other religions with the pure objective of creating the climate for the establishment of Sharia law in particular areas of the country.

Certain Pakistanis and Bangladeshis running spaza shops and other small businesses in the townships and rural areas have to donate an amount of their earnings to the jihadi cause and there are representatives of Sipah-e-Sahaba that go around on a monthly basis and collect these “donations”.

The takings are transported to Fordsburg in Johannesburg where the South African currency is exchanged for US dollars and laundered through the neighbouring states to Dubai and from there to Pakistan.

Another goal of the syndicate’s members is to infiltrate government departments, Naraine explained.

Sipah-se-Sahaba’s frontman in South Africa, whose identity is known to Lowvelder, is a Pakistani national with two wives in Pakistan. To date he married 23 women in South Africa. He smuggles illegal Pakistanis through Dubai into South Africa.

They are met at Lahore International Airport in Pakistan, flown to Dubai and from there to Tanzania.

From there the illegals are transported by road through northern Mozambique all the way down to an area near Komatipoort from where they are assisted in infiltrating into South Africa.

“At Komatipoort they are kept overnight at safe houses until transport is arranged, ferrying them to Kempton Park.

“Then on to Fordsburg from where the newcomers are dispersed all over the country and merely disappear into the woodwork,” Naraine said.

The office of the MEC did not respond to the newspaper’s request for comment.

Swiss Woman Raped by Islamic Scholar after Converting to Islam…

The prominent Islamic scholar Tariq Ramadan, who is in French detention over several rape allegations, is facing a new accusation of rape, this time in Switzerland, a Swiss daily reported Friday.

A Swiss woman is pressing criminal charges against Ramadan, 55, alleging he raped her and held her against her will for several hours in a Geneva hotel room a decade ago, the Tribune de Geneve (TdG) daily reported.

When contacted by AFP, the woman's lawyer Romain Jordan confirmed that criminal charges had been filed in Geneva on Friday, but said he did not want to make any further comments at this stage.

"We are confident in our case," he said.

The alleged victim, who was not identified, is not the first to accuse Ramadan.

The prominent TV pundit and Oxford University professor, whose grandfather founded Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood movement, was detained by a French court in February over charges that he raped two Muslim women in France.

A third woman has since made further allegations of rape. Ramadan denies all the charges.

One of European Islam's best-known figures, he has dismissed the accusations against him as a smear campaign by his enemies and his lawyers argue there are inconsistencies in the women's accounts.

In the fresh case, TdG reported it had seen a 13-page transcript of the alleged Swiss victim's testimony, in which she accused Ramadan of attacking and raping her in a hotel room in 2008.

The woman, a convert to Islam who was around 40 years old at the time, had been having family difficulties and had sought out the eminent Muslim scholar who like her grew up in Geneva, according to the paper.

After meeting him at a book signing in Geneva in 2008, she had begun corresponding with him via social media and voiced interested in attending a conference he was planning in the city.

But as the conference was private, she said Ramadan -- who is also a Swiss national -- had offered to meet her for coffee and what she thought would be a recap of the event.

Instead, he lured her up to his hotel room, where she said he attacked her, raping her and holding her in the room for hours, TdG reported.

"I was afraid I was going to die. I was terrified and paralysed," she said in the testimony, according to the paper.

The woman, who said she had been too afraid at the time to go to the police, said she had been emboldened to step forward now by the large number of women who have accused Ramadan of sexual misconduct, TdG said.

A house wife, Asma’u Sulaiman, on Thursday  prayed a Sharia court at Magajin Gari Kaduna to dissolve her marriage with her husband over frequent demand for anal sex. 

Suleiman also told the court that her husband, Nura Ahmad, has been assaulting and accusing her of infidelity.

“There was a time I went to my parents house over a misunderstanding I had with my husband, when I returned, he accused me of aborting my pregnancy which was not true”, she told the court.

The complainant said she came to court to get justice as she could no longer endure the pain and was scared of contracting disease from anal sex.

However, Ahmad denied the allegations made against him, saying they were untrue.

The Judge Malam Musa Sa’ad asked the wife if she had any witness that would testify for her and she answered in affirmative except for the intimacy scene.

The judge then adjourned the case to April 18 for the complainant to present her witnesses. (NAN)

Muslim preacher: When a “martyr” is killed, he feels no more pain than a mosquito or ant bite

Gaza preacher Mahmoud Al-Khila said that the martyr is not the only one to receive divine reward. “Someone could be standing right next to his brother – one gets martyred, another gets wounded, and a third returns unharmed. … the reward is one and the same, but it is a matter of degree.” He cited a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, saying that a martyr feels no more pain upon his martyrdom than the sting of a mosquito or an ant. His statements aired on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV on April 8.

Mahmoud Al-Khila: “The people who are setting out on the Return marches, and who are stationed out at the borders – borders that, Allah willing are bound to be eliminated…These are people who follow the orders of their factions…If they end up returning to their families – are they really empty-handed? Is the martyr the only one to receive divine reward? Or do the people who were right next to him also receive divine reward? Someone could be standing right next to his brother – one gets martyred, another gets wounded, and a third returns unharmed. Do they receive different divine rewards? We say that the reward is one and the same, but it is a matter of degree. The martyr differs from the other two by ascending to the level of martyrs.”
