PROPHETIC RACE: THE TRAGEDY OF MUSLIMS

Muslims are the primary victims of Islam. However, the vast majority of Muslims fail to recognize this essential truth. This is the tragedy of Muslims. If you are a Muslim, we earnestly encourage you to read this article carefully. Devoting your time to examine this article may be one of your most vital investments in your life. Our objective is to sincerely alert Muslims of the tragic consequences that await all those who submit to Islam. Our call for concern has to do with your salvation. It is our genuine desire to prevent Muslims from becoming victims of a serious tragedy regarding their eternal salvation. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to know the truth about Islam. You can avert this tragedy. It all depends very much on your response to the facts provided here. If for some reason you are skeptical about what we have just stated here, please read the rest of the article to prove us wrong.

Islam stands and falls on the person of Muhammad. The validity of Islam is very much dependent on the reliability of Muhammad. Therefore, we will start with Muhammad. Muslims strongly believe that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael. However, it may surprise them to learn that nowhere in the Qur’an does it say that Ishmael was the predecessor of the Arabic race. Neither does the Qur’an claim that Ishmael was a forefather of Muhammad. The Qur’anic evidences go against any ties of lineage between Ishmael and Muhammad. In fact, there is no correlation whatsoever between Ishmael and Muhammad. What is vital for Muslims to understand is the fact that their claim Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael contradicts the teachings of the Qur’an. It is crucial for Muslims to learn the truth on this matter if they really value their eternal salvation. Read on to find out why we say this.

In order to determine whether Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael or not, it is absolutely essential to consider four vital facts which the Qur’an reveals on this matter. A comprehensive study of these four vital facts is absolutely a must to establish the truth. The truth about Muhammad will be established in this article. Consider now the evidences from the sources of Islam itself.

FACT NUMBER ONE

The Qur’an clearly testifies that no Messengers or Prophets were ever sent to the Arabs before the time of Muhammad:

Surah 28:46-47: Nor were you present on the side of Mount Sinai when We called out to Moses. But you too have been sent as an act of grace from your Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no Warner has come before, so that they may take heed and may not say, if a disaster should befall them as a result of what they have done with their own hands, ‘Lord, if only You had sent us a messenger, we might have followed Your message and become believers.’ (Abdel Haleem)

Surah 32:3: Or do they say, “He (Muhammad) has invented it?” Nay! It is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no Warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction. (H. S. Aziz)

Surah 34:44: And We have not given them (Arabs) any Books (Scripture) which they read, nor did We send to them before you a Warner. (H. S. Aziz)

Surah 36:2-6: I call to witness the Qur’an, custodian of all laws, That you are indeed one of those sent on a path that is straight, A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful God, That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. (H. S. Aziz)

FACT NUMBER TWO

Yet at the same instance, the Qur’an testifies that Ishmael was both a Messenger and a Prophet of Allah:

Surah 19:54: And remember Ishmael in the Book. Truly, he had been one who is sincere in his promise, and he had been a Messenger, a Prophet. (Laleh Bakhtiar)

FACT NUMBER THREE

The Qur’an repeatedly testifies that the Arabs – the forefathers of Muhammad – never received any Scriptures of Allah before the time of Muhammad:

Surah 6:157: Or lest ye should say: If the Scripture had been revealed unto us, we surely had been better guided than are theyNow hath there come unto you a clear proof from your Lord, a guidance and a mercy. (Pickthall)

Surah 11:49: This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou thyself knewest it not, nor did thy folk know it before thisThen have patience. Lo! The sequel is for those who ward off (evil). (Pickthall)

Surah 34:44: And We have not given them (Arabs) any Books (Scripture) which they read, nor did We send to them before you a Warner. (H. S. Aziz)

Surah 62:2: He it is who has sent a Messenger among those who had never before received a Scripture – to convey unto them His Messages. (Shabbir Ahmed)

FACT NUMBER FOUR

On the other hand, the Qur’an clearly states that Ishmael was given the Scriptures of Allah:

Surah 6:86-89: And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot… These are they unto whom We gave the Scripture and command and prophethood. (Pickthall)

Surah 4:163: We have sent revelations to you as We sent revelations to Noah and the prophets who came after him; and We sent revelations to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob, and their offspring, and to Jesus and Job, and to Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and to David We gave the Book of Psalms. (Ahmed Ali)

Surah 3:84: Say (O Muhammad): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob. (Pickthall)

In addition to the above facts, the Qur’an also provides another vital piece of information that is equally important in our discussion. The Qur’an admits that prior to the time of Muhammad only two groups of people – the Jews and the Christians – received the Scriptures of Allah. No other national groups are named in the Qur’an as ever receiving the Scriptures of Allah. It is essential for Muslims to remember this vital fact that is taught in the Qur’an:

Surah 6:155-156: And this (Qur’an) is a Book which We have revealed full of blessings. So now follow it and fear Allah persistently so that you are shown mercy. The Qur’an has been revealed lest you should say: ‘The heavenly Book was only sent down before us to the two communities (the Jews and the Christians), and undoubtedly, we were unaware of their reading and teaching.’ (Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri)

Substantiating this fact even further, the Qur’an recognizes only three Books by name as the revealed Books of Allah before the time of Islam. These three Books are the Torah, the Psalmsand the Gospel. That is why only the Jews and the Christians are recognized as the “People of the Scripture” or as the “People of the Book” in the Qur’an. Not even the Muslims are recognized as such.

Surah 5:68: Say (O Muhammad) “O People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! You have nothing as regards till you act according to the Torah and the Gospel. (Hilali-Khan)

Therefore, the Scripture which the Qur’an claims that was given to Ishmael cannot be for the guidance of the Arabs. This fact is supported by numerous Qur’anic verses which state clearly that the Arabs were not given any Scriptures before the time of Muhammad. The Arabic Qur’an which was revealed at the time of Muhammad is the only Scripture that was given to the Arabs. Prior to this they had none:

Surah 32:3: Or say they: “He (Muhammad) has fabricated it?” Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no Warner has come before you (O Muhammad), in order that they may be guided. (Hilali-Khan)

All the above facts are based not on any external sources. They are all based on the Qur’an – the primary source of Islam. What essential truth can Muslims learn when we piece all these vital facts together? The following segment will answer this question.

THE MUSLIM DILEMMA

The above verses of the Qur’anic clearly state that no Scriptures were given to the ancestors of Muhammad. Yet at the same instance, the Qur’an reveals that the Prophet Ishmael was given the Scriptures of Allah. Logically, if the Prophet Ishmael was truly an ancestor of Muhammad, then this would mean that the ancestors of Muhammad had already received the Scriptures of Allah before the time of Muhammad. Thus, for the Qur’an to be true, the Prophet Ishmael simply cannot be an ancestor of Muhammad as claimed by the Muslims. How are Muslims going to reconcile the claim in the Qur’an that no Scriptures were given to the ancestors of Muhammad with the verses which state that the Prophet Ishmael was given the Scriptures of Allah if the Prophet Ishmael was truly an ancestor of Muhammad? With no Scriptures to prove the lineage between the Prophet Ishmael and Muhammad, how can Muslims then assume that Muhammad was a descendant of the Prophet Ishmael?

Furthermore, besides stating that no Scriptures were ever given to the ancestors of Muhammad, the Qur’an also states that neither were any Prophets sent to them. Yet, the Qur’an clearly testifies that Ishmael was a Prophet of Allah. If the Prophet Ishmael was truly an ancestor of Muhammad, this would then mean that Prophet of Allah was already living amidst the ancestors of Muhammad. Thus, it would be a gross error for the Qur’an to state that no Prophets were sent to the ancestors of Muhammad who were Arabs. However, since the Qur’an states positively that no Prophets were sent to the ancestors of Muhammad, this proves that the Prophet Ishmael could not have lived or set foot in Arabia as Muslims claims. The only option that now remains for Muslims to accept the Qur’an as true is to acknowledge the fact that Muhammad simply cannot be a descendant of the Prophet Ishmael. Muslims who challenge or deny this fact will be proving the Qur’an false.

Al-Tabari, the renowned Muslim scholar and historian recognizes the fact that Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, was an Egyptian. (Al-Tabari, The History of al-Tabari, Vol. II, Prophets and Patriarchs, translation from Arabic by William M. Brenner, pp. 62-63) Abraham, the father of Ishmael was not an ArabAnd neither was his mother. Can a father who is a Hebrew and a mother who is an Egyptian produce an Arab son? Therefore, Ishmael cannot be an Arab. And to further distant this claim by Muslims, the wife of Ishmael was an Egyptian. (Genesis 21:20-21) As such, Muhammad cannot be a direct descendant of Ishmael. In the Bible, the Prophet Abraham is clearly identified as a Hebrew:

Genesis 14:13: After that a man who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew.

Abraham was known as Abram until God changed his name to Abraham. (Genesis 17:5And the Bible clearly states that Abraham was a Hebrew. According to the Jewish Encyclopedia the terms “Hebrews” and “Israelites” describe the same people. It explains that they were called Hebrews before the conquest of the Land of Canaan and subsequently they were called Israelites after the conquest. If the Hebrews were Arabs then they would not be Hebrews would they? Since Ishmael was the first-born son of Abraham, he simply cannot be someone other than a Hebrew like his father. Muhammad has to be a Hebrew in order for Muslims to claim he was a descendant of Ishmael.

Indicating their nomadic lifestyle, the Qur’an refers to the Arabs as the “wandering Arabs” in Surah 33:20. And the Qur’an also identifies them as “Quraish” in Surah 106:1But the Arabs were never identified, even once, as the “Children of Ishmael” or as the “Children of Abraham.” In fact, it is the style of the Qur’an to draw clear connections of lineage if at all there exists one. You will surprised at the number of times the term “Children of Israel” (Arabic: Bani Israel) is mentioned in the Qur’an with reference to the IsraelitesHowever, there is no “Bani Ishmael” in the Qur’an with reference to the ArabsThis is truly an important observation which Muslims must not fail to take into consideration. The Muslim argument that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael is not based on any historical evidences. Today anyone can claim that he is a descendant of Noah and he is technically right.

THE QUR’AN DISQUALIFIES THE PROPHETHOOD OF MUHAMMAD

Even if Muslims ignore all these evidences and presumptuously insist that Muhammad was a direct descendant of Ishmael, it still does not change the fact that Muhammad does not qualify as a true prophet of God. Why do we say that? It is because the Qur’an itself disqualifies him as a prophet of the true God. After addressing the Prophet Abraham, Allah clearly testified in the Qur’an that the “Prophethood” will thereafter continue through the lineage of Isaac and Jacob – not IshmaelIn view of its importance, two different translations of Surah 29:27 are provided below:

And (as for Abraham), We bestowed upon him Isaac and (Isaac’s son) Jacob, and caused Prophethood and Revelation to continue among his offspring. (Asad)

And We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, and We established the Prophethood and the Scripture among his seed. (Pickthall)

It is vital for Muslims to note the fact that with the inauguration of the “Prophethood” with Abraham, Surah 29:27 goes on to state that the Prophethood will thereafter continue through the lineage of Isaac and Jacob. Therefore, the Prophethood will be established uniquely through the seeds of Isaac and Jacob. In other words, the office of the Prophethood would be entrusted only to IsaacJacob and their descendants. This means that anyone claiming to be a Prophet of the true God must be born in the “Prophetic Race.” They must be born in the lineage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

If Allah intended to include Ishmael, his name would be placed before Isaac as he was older than Isaac by about fourteen years. But as it can be noted, Surah 29:27 completely omits any reference to Ishmael. This raises some vital questions:

Why was the name of Ishmael left out completely at the most significant time when the lineage of the Prophethood was revealed in the Qur’an?

Why was Ishmael totally ignored if he was as important as Muslims claim him to be?

Thus, the Qur’an itself teaches that the Prophethood will be established exclusively through the lineage of Isaac – not Ishmael. Muslims have to choose between the Qur’an and Muhammad. If Muhammad was truly a prophet of God then the Qur’an is false. If the Qur’an is true, then Muhammad simply cannot be a prophet of the true God. THE QUR’AN DISQUALIFIES THE PROPHETHOOD OF MUHAMMAD

SURAH 3:81 – AN INDISPUTABLE ERROR IN THE QUR’AN

We will now move on to discuss the primary purpose of this article. This is where the tragedy of the Muslims begins. This is where the issue of salvation comes to the fore. This is where Muslims must decide regarding the outcome of their eternal salvation.

DID ABRAHAM AND ISHMAEL BUILD THE KA’BA?

The Qur’an claims that the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael built the sacred House of Allah:

Surah 2:125-127: We made the House a resort and a sanctuary for people, saying, ‘Take the spot where Abraham stood as your place of prayer.’ We commanded Abraham and Ishmael: ‘Purify My House for those who walk round it, those who stay there, and those who bow and prostrate themselves in worship.’ Abraham said, ‘My Lord, make this land secure and provide with produce those of its people who believe in God and the Last Day.’ God said, ‘As for those who disbelieve, I will grant them enjoyment for a short while and then subject them to the torment of the Fire – an evil destination.’ As Abraham and Ishmael built up the foundations of the House they prayed, ‘Our Lord, accept this from us. You are the All Hearing, the All Knowing. (Abdel Haleem)

Although the location of the House of Allah is not stated in the above or any other verses of the Qur’an, all Muslims without exception believe that it refers to the Ka’ba in MeccaSome Muslim translators of the Qur’an boldly took the liberty to edit the Scriptures of Allah by inserting the word “Mecca” in parenthesis even though it does not appear in the original Arabic Qur’an. How could the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael build the Ka’ba in Mecca when the Qur’an clearly states that no Prophets were ever sent to the Arabs before the time of Muhammad? Since Muslims insist that the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael built the Ka’ba in Mecca, then this assumption comes at a great cost to the Muslims. Muslims have to now accept that either there is a serious contradiction in the Qur’an or the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael could not have built the Ka’ba in Mecca.

As we have noted, numerous Qur’anic verses clearly testify that no Prophets were sent to the Arabs prior to the time of Muhammad. This simply means that the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael could not have set foot in Arabia. Therefore, it is obvious that they could not have built the Ka’ba. Since the Ka’ba was already in existence before the time of Muhammad and since no Prophets of the true God were ever sent to the Arabs before the time of Muhammad, it leads us to one very obvious conclusion. Only the local pagan Arabs could have built the Ka’baOnly they could have laid the foundation of the Ka’ba. That the Ka’ba was indeed a pagan shrine before the coming of Islam is confirmed in numerous authentic sources of Islam itself.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 43, Number 658:

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka’ba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: “Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished.”

When Muhammad conquered Mecca, he destroyed all the idols of the Ka’ba with the exception of the preeminent idol – the Black Stone. The Ka’ba which is known as “Baitullah” in Arabic means “House of Allah.” Muslims will do well to seriously consider the following thought provoking questions:

If the Ka’ba which was supposedly built by the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael was originally the House of Allahhow did it become a Pagan Temple housing 360 idols? How could a House of God turn into a Temple of Idols?

Exactly when did Allah allow this change to take place?

How did the most sacred place for the Worship of Allah become a place for the Worship of Idols? How is it possible for this corruption to occur in the first place?

Why was Allah powerless to prevent his most sacred shrine from becoming contaminated with the idolatrous worship of demons?

What theological reason is there for Allah to allow his original House of Worship to become a Pagan Temple?

The late Dr. Taha Husayn, a prominent professor at Cairo University, recognized the fact that the message of the Qur’an regarding the construction of the Ka’ba at the hands of Abraham and Ishmael is historically untenable. And he gave the following reason as to why it is not possible:

The case of this episode is very obvious because it is of recent date and came into vogue just before the rise of Islam. Islam exploited it for religious reasons” (Quoted in Mizan al-Islam by Anwar al-Jundi, p. 170).

In other words, the Ka’ba did not and could not have existed at the time of Abraham.

IDOLATRY IN ISLAM

Islam retained many of the rites and rituals that had been prevalent in the Arabian Peninsula. While Muhammad destroyed the rest of the idols at the conquest of Mecca, he left the Black Stone untouched. Why? It was simply because of his deep-rooted reverence for the Black Stone brought on by years of submission to the pagan practice of stone worship.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 661:

Narrated by Abu Raja Al-Utaridi: We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf (circumnavigation) around it.

Today Muslims perform the Tawaf (circumnavigation) around the Black StoneMuhammad not only left the Black Stone untouched to represent Islam but he was also deeply attached to it emotionally.

Sahih Muslim, Book 007, Number 2916:

Suwaid b. Ghafala reported: I saw Umar (Allah be pleased with him) kissing the Stone and clinging to it and saying: I saw Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having great love for youThis Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sufyin with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are): “That he (‘Umar) said: But I saw Abu’l-Qasim (way peace be upon him) having great love for you.”

Muhammad is known as Abu’l-Qasim to his Companions. Some believe that this was Muhammad’s original name.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 675:

Narrated by Zaid bin Aslam: From his father who said: “Umar bin Al-Khattab addressed the Corner (Black Stone) saying, ‘By Allah! I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet touching and kissing you, I would never have touched and kissed you.’ Then he kissed it.”

The single most important reason in Islam for the kissing of the Black Stone is that Muhammad did it. He thereby set the example for Muslims to follow. The Black Stone which was sacred to the Pagans became sacred to the Muslims. The Black Stone which was venerated by the Pagans became the focal point of the Muslim pilgrimage. The Black Stone which had been an object of worship before the time of Muhammad became the central shrine of Islam. Muslims today touch and kiss the Black Stone with reverence during the HajjThe kiss that the pious Muslims bestow on the Black Stone is a survival of an age old pagan practice that was common in ancient Arabia. Muslims are kissing the same Black Stone which the Pagans were kissing before.

In his book, “The Life of Muhammad,” the Egyptian writer, Muhammad Husayn Haykal, whose works are based on the scholarly manuscripts of Ibn Hisham, acknowledged the following facts regarding the worship of the Black Stone:

In fact, the Arabs venerated these stones so much that not only did they worship the Black Stone in the Ka’bah, but also they would take one of the stones of the Ka’bah as a holy object in their travels, praying to it and asking it to bless every move they made. (p. 30)

Here we find another prominent Muslim scholar who candidly testifies that the Black Stone was indeed worshipped by the Pagans before the coming of Islam. The fact that many of the rituals performed during the Hajj are connected to pagan worship shows that Islam was conceived in idolatry. Such practices are consistent with pre-Islamic pagan rituals involving the Ka’ba. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never send a Black Stone for his worshippers to submit to idolatry. If the true God forbids even the bowing towards the glorious sun that he himself had created, do you think he will command his worshippers to bow towards a dead Black Stone? While Christians clearly see this as absolute idolatry, Islam is blind to this abomination. The Holy Bible clearly states:

Deuteronomy 4:19: “You must not raise your eyes to the heavens and indeed see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the army of the heavens, and actually get seduced and bow down to them.”

Of course, Muslims will strongly deny that they are actually engaging in idolatrous worship when they kiss or bow towards the Black Stone whenever they pray. And they will insist that their prayers are directed towards Allah alone. However, in actual practice, Muslims treat the Black Stone with the same reverence as the Pagans do towards their idols. The denial of the idolatrous nature of the reverence that Muslims display towards the Black Stone can be likened to that of a man who claims innocence for his adulterous affair by saying that he was only thinking of his wife while committing the illicit immoral act. Adultery is adultery. And idolatry is idolatry. The justification for the veneration of a dead stone, especially to the extent of bowing down and kissing it, can only be identified with the primitive pagan practice of idolatry than with the true spirit of monotheistic worship. It is idolatry–pure and simple. All Muslims are idolaters.

In fact, honest Muslim scholars acknowledge that the act of kissing the Black Stone by Muslims is an expression of worship. Sheikh Sha’rawi, one of Egypt’s renowned scholars admitted that the practice of kissing the Black Stone by Muslims is an expression of worship:

The kissing of the meteorite is a firm practice in Islamic law because Muhammad did it. You must not ask about the wisdom behind that because this rite is an expression of worship in spite of the obscurity of its wisdom.” (Sheikh Sha’rawi, Legal Opinions, pt. 3, p. 167, Muslim)

Additionally, Muhammad stated that on the Day of Judgment the Black Stone will testify favorably on behalf of all those who touched it with sincerity. The Prophet of Islam also taught that the sins of those who touched the Black Stone would be forgiven on Judgment Day. If ascribing the role of a Mediator and the role of Savior to a mere stone is not idolatry, then what is it?

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 961; Ibn Maajah, 2944:

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said concerning the Stone: “By Allah, Allah will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favour of those who touched it in sincerity.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 959:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says: “Touching them both (the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani) is an expiation for sins.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 877, Ahmad, 2792:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When the Black Stone came down from Paradise, it was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.”

Thus, it is dishonest to say that the Black Stone is just a focal point for Muslims to direct their prayers for the sake of unity. In reality, it means much more than Muslims are willing to admit. Is it not idolatrous to believe that the sins of the Muslims can be forgiven simply by touching a mere stone? Muslims strongly reject the atoning value of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Ironically, these very same Muslims believe that a dead stone can achieve the very objective that they deny Jesus could accomplish.

All Muslims are required to bow towards the Black Stone every day, whenever they pray. They are forbidden to face any other object or direction. For Muslims to face any other direction is a violation of the commandment of Allah in the Qur’an. The commandment of Allah clearly states:

Surah 2:144: Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction.”

According to the Qur’an, Muslims cannot pray to Allah without facing the Black Stone. When a Muslim makes the Hajjor runs between the hills, or bestows a kiss on the Black Stonehe is performing the rituals of the Pagans. And these rituals are deeply rooted in pagan superstition. And Muhammad sanctioned and incorporated these pagan practices into Islam. Thus, the poison remains the same, only the labels were deceitfully changed by Allah. Consequently, paganism became an integral part of Islam. Consider now the following additional evidence:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 23:

Narrated By ‘Asim bin Sulaiman: I asked Anas bin Malik about Safa and Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca). Anas replied, “We used to consider (i.e. going around) them a custom of the Pre-Islamic period of Ignorance, so when Islam came, we gave up going around themThen Allah revealed, ‘Verily, Safa and Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca) are among the Symbols of AllahSo it is not harmful of those who perform the Hajj of the House of Allah or perform the Umra to ambulate (Tawaf) between them.’” (Surah 2:158)

Provided below is the Qur’anic verse which is cited in the above Hadith:

Surah 2:158: “Lo! (The mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House of Allah or visiteth it, to go around them as the pagan custom is. (Pickthall)

How can the very same mountains that were sacred to the Pagans suddenly become the “Symbols of Allah” after the Muslim conquest of Mecca? Moreover, how is it that the very same pagan ritual of running between the two hills is also retained in Islam? Islam is the only religion where after kissing a stone, its devotees pick up stones to stone a stone representing the Devil. There are far too many similarities between Islam and paganism for sincere Muslims to ignore.

Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never incorporate the pagan practices of the nations into his divine arrangement for pure worship. He would never sanction the pagan practices of the nations to become an integral part of the sacred services of his worshippers:

2 Corinthians 6:14-17: Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darknessFurther, what harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever? And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols? For we are a temple of a living God. Just as God said: “I shall reside among them and walk among them, and I shall be their God, and they will be my people.” “Therefore get out from among them and separate yourselves. Quit touching the unclean thing and I will take you in,” says Jehovah.

Centuries before the arrival of Islam, Jehovah God lovingly warned the Israelites of a subtle snare of Satan which Islam failed to avoid. Regarding this devious snare of Satan, the Holy Bible warned the descendants of Abraham to shun the evil practice of idolatry in all its various forms:

Leviticus 26:1: “Do not make for yourselves worthless idols. You must not erect for yourselves a carved statue or a sacred pillar and you must not put a stone as a sacred showpiece in your land to bow down toward it. I am Jehovah your God.”

Can any warning be clearer than this? Either it is acceptable to bow towards a stone or it is not. Both cannot be true. This is a very serious matter because it demonstrates that either Allah or Jehovah is the true God. Not both! The eternal salvation of every single Muslim lies in the hands of only one of them.

Think carefully! Will the true God encourage his worshippers to continue in the same sin of idolatry of the PagansAvoiding the idolatrous practices of Islam is an essential first step towards true worship. However, leaving false worship is only part of the solution. For a full recovery, false worship should be replaced with true worship. That is why it is vital not only to shun idolatry:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11: Do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

But also to earnestly search for the true God:

Isaiah 55:6: Search for Jehovah while he may be found. Call to him while he is near.

Taking this decisive step will save you from the Tragedy of Islam.

ALLAH PRAYS: THE TWO GODS OF ISLAM

Muslims often declare that Islam is a great monotheistic religion. Is this true? In this article we will prove why this claim is absolutely false. What is important is the fact that we will use sources from Islam itself to disprove their claim. We encourage both Muslims and non-Muslims to read this article carefully. We sincerely invite Muslims to refute the facts presented here.

When a Muslim is engaged in prayer (salat), it is forbidden for him to respond to anyone who interrupts his prayer. Muslims, out of respect for Allah, will not interrupt a fellow-Muslim while he is praying. However, Muhammad is an exception to this rule. He tells Muslims that even if they are performing prayers to Allah, they must respond to him when he calls them. Muhammad invoked Surah 8:24 to justify his case.

Surah 8:24: “O you who believe! Answer the call of Allah and His Apostle when he calls you to that which gives you life; and know that Allah intervenes between man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered.” (Shakir)

Carefully consider now how the Prophet of Islam clarified the meaning and the application of the above Qur’anic verse.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 226:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Mualla: While I was praying, the Prophet passed by and called me, but I did not go to him till I had finished my prayer. When I went to him, he said, “What prevented you from coming?” I said, “I was praying.” He said, “Didn’t Allah say” “O you who believe Give your response to Allah and to His Apostle.” (Surah 8:24)

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 1:

Narrated Abu Said bin Al-Mu’alla: While I was praying in the Mosque, Allah’s Apostle called me but I did not respond to him. Later I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! I was praying.” He said, “Didn’t Allah say – Give your response to Allah (by obeying Him) and to His Apostle when he calls you.” (Surah 8:24)

This proves that Muslims must respond to the call of Muhammad even while they are praying. They are required to honor Muhammad above Allah. Why do we say that? On the surface it may appear that Muhammad was only demanding the Muslims to recognize his right to interrupt their prayers. However, there is more to this. It is important to note that each time Muhammad interrupts the prayer of a Muslim, he simultaneously interrupts Allah from receiving the prayer of that Muslim. This means that Muhammad has the authority to even interrupt Allah from receiving the prayers of his worshippers. Does not this exalt Muhammad to a position equal or even greater than Allah? Is this not polytheism? Can you then deny that in reality Islam has two gods?

The Shahada is the Islamic profession of faith. It is the first and most important of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is a testimony of the Islamic Faith which declares: “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.” Anyone who does not recite the Shahada is not a Muslim.  However, a Muslim cannot be a Muslim by invoking the name of Allah only when reciting the Shahada. For his Shahada to be legitimate, it is absolutely necessary for the Muslim to include the name of Muhammad. Believing in Allah alone is not enough to be a Muslim. A Muslim must also believe in Muhammad:

Surah 49:15: The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger. (Shakir)

Believing only in the teachings of Allah with the exclusion of the teachings of Muhammad will result in the loss of many essential details that are vital for the salvation of Muslims. This is because the Qur’an does not contain all the regulations that are required of a Muslim to live out his faith. Therefore, a devout Muslim must also know and obey the Sunnah (sayings and deeds) of Muhammad in order to follow Islam. A Muslim cannot attain Paradise if he does not believe in the Sunnah of Muhammad. Thus, the teachings of Muhammad are elevated to the same intensity as the teachings of Allah in the Qur’an. In fact, to escape the fires of Hell, a Muslim must obey both Allah and Muhammad.

Surah 4:14: And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and goes beyond His limits, He will cause him to enter fire to abide in it, and he shall have an abasing chastisement. (Shakir)

Of course, Muslims will strongly deny they are rendering worship to Muhammad. However, the reality belies their claim. In actual practice, Muslims merge the words of Allah with the words of a man. And by recognizing them both as equally binding for their salvation, Muslims elevate Muhammad to the status of Allah. If the teachings of Muhammad are recorded in the Qur’an, then there is no valid reason to object. However, since his teachings are not included in the Qur’an, it shows that Muslims are actually required to submit to teachings based on two different sources. The two sources are the Qur’an and the Hadith. Of course, Muslims will object by saying that these two teachings actually complement each other. Really?

It may surprise you to learn that in specific instances, the teachings of Muhammad have precedence over the teachings of Allah when they differ with one other. Take for example, the number of times a Muslim has to pray daily. The Qur’an outlines only three daily prayers for Muslims. However, Muhammad changed that to five daily prayers in the Hadith. Thus, his teachings in the Hadith supersede the teachings of Allah in the Qur’an. Today, Muslims all over the world pray five times daily. Muhammad contradicted the teachings of Allah in the Qur’an and came off victories. Not only Muslims elevate the teachings of Muhammad above Allah but they also idolize the man himself. In the following Hadith, we can clearly see how Muslims idolize Muhammad:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 171:

Narrated Ibn Sirrn: I said to ‘Ablda, “I have some of the hair of the Prophet which I got from Anas or from his family.” ‘Abida replied. “No doubt if I had a single hair of that it would have been dearer to me than the whole world and whatever is in it.”

How can Muslims view a single shred of hair as more valuable than the entire earth and its contents? The veneration of relics is a common practice in paganism. If this is not idolatry, then what is it? Still not convinced? How about the next Hadith?

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 617:

Narrated Abu Musa: Then the prophet asked for a drinking bowl containing water and washed his hands and face in it, and then took a mouthful of water and threw it therein saying to us, ‘Drink some of it and pour some over your faces and chests and be happy at the good tidings.’”

Acts of devotion such as the ones displayed by Muslims towards Muhammad in the above Hadith are not only outright filthy but also idolatrous. The Holy Bible clearly warns against idolatry:

1 Corinthians 10:14: Therefore, my beloved ones, flee from idolatry.

Contrast now the arrogance of Muhammad with the humble attitude of Jesus Christ. As revealed, Muhammad not only washed his hands and face in the drinking bowl but after spitting a mouthful of water into it, instructed his followers to drink that filthy water. Now, why would Muhammad want his followers to do that? In contrast, Jesus washed the feet of his followers. The Bible tells us that during the festival of the Passover, Jesus got up from the meal and washed the feet of his disciples—an act that was usually performed by a servant. Jesus told his disciples: For I set the pattern for you, that just as I did to you, you should also do. If you know these things, happy you are if you do them.” —John 13:1-17. This humble act left a lasting impression on his disciples.

Rendering worship to a person does not necessarily mean that it is confined only to the act of praying to that individual. There are many subtle forms of rendering worship to an individual or a thing. By their attitude and devotion towards Muhammad, Muslims actually render worship to their Prophet. Muslims have become so obsessed in their devotion to Muhammad that they actually deify him as god.  Two gods is one too many. It is clearly polytheism. The Muslim claim that Islam is strictly a monotheistic religion is simply not true.

A GOD WHO PRAYS

It may surprise many to learn that even the Qur’an admits that Allah prays. And it reveals that the very object of the prayers of Allah and his Angels is none other than Muhammad himself:

Surah 33:56: Surely Allah and His Angels shower Serenity (Literally: shower prayers) on the Prophet. O you who have believed, pray for benediction on him, and submit in full submission. (Muhammad Ghali)

The Arabic term used in Surah 33:56 is yusalloona.” As we can note, the above Muslim translator clearly understands the correct meaning of this Arabic term. He knows that it should be translated literally as “shower prayers.” As such, Surah 33:56 should read as follows: “Surely Allah and His Angels shower prayers on the Prophet.” Since he understands the accurate meaning of this Qur’anic verse perfectly well, then why does he not translate the correct reading right away? Why does he, instead, choose to reveal the correct meaning only in parenthesis?

This is because Muslim translators such as him and many others are horrified by the implications of this Qur’anic verse. As a result, they deliberately mistranslate this Qur’anic verse. Most of them translate the relevant portion as “Allah and his angels shower blessings on the prophet.” The problem for Muslims is that the Arabic word for “blessings” is “baarika.” And this term does not appear anywhere in this Qur’anic verse. The Arabic word used in Surah 33:56 is “yusalloona” which is a verbal form of the word “salat ” (singular) or salawat (plural). And “salat” means prayer or worship.

Therefore, the most obvious translation of Surah 33:56 involves Allah praying for Muhammad. This Qur’anic verse is absolutely damaging for Islam. The simple questions that we would like to ask Muslims is this: To whom is Allah praying to? Is he praying to himself? Or is there another deity above him to whom he supplicates. The very suggestion that God prays is preposterous. In fact, we are told in the Qur’an that not only Allah prays for Muhammad but he also prays for his worshippers. In view of its importance, we have provided three different translations of the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 2:156-157: Who, when an affliction afflicts them, say, “Surely we belong to Allah, and surely to Him we are returning.” Upon those are the prayers (salawatun) from their Lord, and mercy; and those are they who are the right-guided. (Muhammad Ghali)

Who, in adversity say: “We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.” On those will be prayers (salawatun) and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. (Hasan Al-Fatih Qaribullah)

Those who if a disaster or any other thing hated struck them they said: “We are to God, and we are to Him returning.” Those, on them are prayers (salawatun) from their Lord and a mercy, and those are the guided. (Samira)

The above Qur’anic verses are crystal clear. It simply states that the prayers of Allah are upon those who return to him during times of calamity. In conformity with the teachings of the Qur’an, the Hadith also supports the fact that Allah prays. We will consider two such Hadiths to prove our point. The Meadows of the Righteous (Arabic: Riyadh as-Salihinis a compilation by renowned Muslim scholar, Al-Nawawi (1233–1277) from Damascus. It is a collection of important Qur’anic verses along with supplementary Hadiths to elucidate their true meaning. Al-Nawawi recorded the following under the heading, Book of Knowledge, 241. Chapter: The Excellence of Knowledge:

1387. Abu Umama reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Allah and His angels and the people of the heavens and the earth, even the ants in their rocks and the fish, pray for blessings on those who teach people good.” (At-Tirmidhi)

And:

2685. Abu Umamah al-Bahili narrated: “Two men were mentioned before the Messenger of Allah. One of them a worshipper, and the other a scholar. So the Messenger of Allah said: ‘The superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like my superiority over the least of you.’ Then the Messenger of Allah said: ‘Indeed Allah, His Angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earths – even the ant in his hole, even the fish – say Salat upon the one who teaches the people to do good. (Hasan) — English Translation of Jami‘ At-TirmidhiCompiled by Imam Hafiz ‘Eisa Mohammad Ibn ‘Eisa At-Tirmidhi, From Hadith no2606 to 3290translated by Abu Khaliyl

The above Hadith is categorized as “Hasan” which means it is recognized as authentic by Muslim scholars. Read carefully the words of Muhammad in the above Hadith once again. He is simply teaching his followers to believe that Allah, like the rest of creation, says salat (prayer) “upon the one who teaches the people to do good.” As an aside, do ants and fishes really pray? The following is an additional reference which also supports the fact that Allah prays:

The people of Israel said to Moses: “Does your Lord pray?” His Lord called him saying: “O Moses, they asked you if your Lord prays. Say to them: ‘Yes, I do pray, and my angels pray upon my prophets and my messengers,’” and Allah then sent down on his messenger: “Allah and His angels pray…” (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Q. 33:56; translated from the Arabic online edition)

This is absolutely polytheism. Allah clearly identifies himself as a fellow-worshiper with the rest of the angels. Of course, the true Lord of Moses is not Allah but Jehovah. He is identified by this divine name in the Holy Bible. He is God Almighty. As such, it is impossible for him to pray. On the other hand, Allah prays. This clearly proves that he is not the true God. He is but an impostor.

Sadly for Muslims, they pray to a god who prays. And they follow a prophet who has the authority to interrupt their prayers. And this authority comes at a great cost to Muslims because it empowers Muhammad to prevent Allah from listening to the prayers of those whom he interrupts. When Muhammad calls, Muslims must stop whatever they are doing. And this includes their prayers to Allah. Muslims, we are not the ones saying this but your Prophet. It takes someone who is greater or in equal standing with Allah to prevent him from listening to your prayers. Can you then deny the fact that Islam has two gods?

Before we conclude this article, we want to clarify an important fact. We want our Muslim readers to understand that true Christians do not worship Jesus. The Holy Bible does allow for this. However, we firmly believe that Jesus is the unique Son of God. And we sincerely endeavor to obey all the teachings of Jesus which are recorded in the Holy Bible. One such teaching is the profound statement of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew:

Matthew 4:10: For it is written: “It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.”

This teaching of Jesus Christ rules out the worship of anyone else besides Jehovah. In obedience to this teaching, we worship Jehovah alone. He is the only true God.

IRREFUTABLE PROOF ALLAH LIED IN THE QUR’AN

Time and time again, Muslims who read articles that expose Islam, claim that what are written are all lies. Some say this out of ignorance but others do so with deceit. They make such claims even though what is written is based on their own Islamic sources. The purpose of this article is to show that when Muslims lie and make such false claims, they are, in truth, imitating the deity whom they worship. This article will expose the real source, the motivating force, behind all the lies that Muslims utter with such smoothness. This article will show who the real liar is – even according to the Qur’an.

According to the Qur’an the final miracle performed by Allah was a huge she-camel that he produced out of a rock.

Surah 7:73: “Indeed there has come to you a clear sign (the miracle of the coming out of a huge she camel from the midst of a rock) from your Lord.” (Hilali-Khan)

And Surah 17:59 gives us the reason why Allah stopped sending miracles anymore after he had miraculously produced the she-camel out of a rock. Given below are three different translations of Surah 17:59.

Surah 17:59: “And We refrain from sending the Signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfullyWe only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil).” (Yusuf Ali)

“Nothing hindered us from sending (thee) with miracles, except that the former (nations) have charged them with imposture. We gave unto (the tribe of) Thamud, (at their demand), the she-camel visible (to their sight); yet they dealt unjustly with her: And we send not (a prophet) with miracles, but to strike terror.” (Sale)

“What stopped us from sending the miracles is that the previous generations have rejected them. For example, we showed Thamoud the camel, a profound (miracle), but they transgressed against it. We sent the miracles only to instill reverence.” (Khalifa)

As we can see, the word “Sign” in this verse denotes the visible and clearly observable miracle of Allah. The Sign or Miracle that Allah sent in this specific instant was a she-camel that was visible to the people of Thamud. The miracle was sent to open their eyes but they treated the she-camel wrongly and killed her. After this incident, Allah decided not to send any more miracles in the future. What can we conclude by the above words of Allah in Surah 17:59?

One: It shows that Allah has “stopped sending miracles.” This means that long before the coming of Muhammad, Allah has decided to stop sending miracles. Hence, if the Qur’an is true, then Muhammad could not have performed any miracle. Therefore, whenever Muslims proudly claim that their Prophet performed many miracles, they are at the same instant admitting that Allah lied in Surah 17:59.

Two: It specifies Allah’s reason for not sending miracles. This verse states that Allah found it pointless to perform miracles “because the men of former generations treated them as false.” In other words, Allah has stopped sending miracles because people in the past did not believe in them.

Three: It shows in which period of time Allah made a decision to stop sending miracles.

It is hard to imagine how Muslims could put faith in this weak excuse of Allah. Allah is in effect saying, “We don’t do miracles any more because the people of Thamud killed our she-camel.” This Qur’anic verse is significant because we can feel a sense of defeat in Allah at the hands of mere humans. Even more important is the fact that this verse proves that Allah is clearly lying here in the Qur’an. Contrary to what Allah claims, myriads of Jews and Christians who lived in the past did believe in the miracles performed by Moses and Jesus, and millions more continue to do so today. However, we have not come to the end of the evidences pointing to the lies of Allah. We will now consider an indisputable confirmation that Allah lied in the Qur’an.

THE LYING DEITY

More than twenty Qur’anic passages show that whenever Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries to perform a single miracle, he either remained silent or said that he could not do so because he was no more than just an ordinary human being. The most explicit of these passages is in Surah 17:90-93:

They said, “We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground. “Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes, with rivers running through it. “Or unless you cause masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us. Or unless you bring GOD and the angels before our eyes. “Or unless you own a luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. Am I any more than a human messenger?” (Khalifa)

We will now analyze Surah 17:59 once again but from a different point of view. Our objective is to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Allah is a liar and the Qur’an is a lie. To begin, we will establish the fact that according to the Qur’an, it was the Prophet Salih who was sent by Allah to the people of Thamud during the tragedy of the she-camel:

Surah 7:73: To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: “O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah’s earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment.”

Surah 7:75: The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless – those among them who believed: “know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?” They said: “We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him.”

Surah 7:77: Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: “O Salih! Bring about thy threats, if thou art an apostle (of God)!” (Yusuf Ali)

As a result of the above insolent act of the people of Thamud, Surah 17:59 testifies that Allah has now refrained from sending miracles. The Qur’an does not mention the time period when Prophet Salih was sent to the people of Thamud. But, we can say with certainty that it must be before the time of Jesus Christ, because according to Muhammad himself, there were no prophets or apostles between the time of Jesus and Muhammad. In other words, the only “Prophet” who was sent after Jesus was Muhammad.

Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Hadith Number 5835:

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between me and Jesus.

The Hadith states that “no Prophet was raised between (Muhammad) and Jesus,” Therefore, Salih could not have been sent after the arrival of Jesus but before. Otherwise, it would place him between Jesus and Muhammad. Therefore, Allah must have stopped sending miracles long before Jesus set foot on earth. Yet, the Qur’an admits that Jesus performed many miracles and it even describes some of his miracles.

Surah 3:49: And I (Jesus) heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s permission. (Shakir)

How can this be possible? This shows that Allah’s claim in the Qur’an that he was the source behind the powerful works of Jesus is a lie. By his own admission, Allah could not be the one who empowered Jesus with miracles. He simply could not be the originator of Jesus’ miraculous works. Who then is the source of the miracles of Jesus? The Bible clearly identifies Jehovah as the true source behind the astounding works performed by Jesus Christ:

Acts 10:38: “You know that God anointed Jesus from Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Jesus went through the land doing good and healing all those oppressed by the Devil. Jesus did these things because God was with him.”

Jehovah not only caused the miraculous birth of Jesus but also empowered him to perform many miracles. This raises vital questions regarding the true source behind the inspiration of the Qur’an. It certainly could not come from the same Almighty God who performed many miracles through Jesus. Since the Qur’an itself states that Allah has stopped sending miracles long before the arrival of Jesus, Muslims are faced with a dilemma.

To accept the account of Jesus’ miracles in the Qur’an would now mean that Muslims have to also accept the fact that Allah is a liar. Now, how are Muslims going to reconcile Allah’s statement to the effect that he stopped sending miracles after the people of Thamud killed his miraculous she-camel with his claim in the Qur’an that he performed many miracles through Jesus Christ? Which of these two statements is correct? Is it not clear that Allah is an imposter pretending to be the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Jesus? Is it not clear that Allah lied in the Qur’an when he said:

Surah 2:87: “We gave Jesus, son of Mary, profound miracles and supported him with the Holy Spirit.” (Khalifa)

It has always been the practice of Allah to declare whatever he thought was necessary to deceive the unwary. Whenever he wanted to make an impact on his audience with his pretentious awesome power, he talked about the miracles, which he supposedly performed through Biblical prophets. However, when the people of Muhammad’s time demanded that he prove his godship through the evidence of miracles, he dodged them by saying: “I have stopped sending miracles, as people in the past did not believe in them.”

This chameleon-like, utterly deceitful behavior on the part of Allah makes him not only a liar but also a cunning schemer. As such, he is totally deceitful. When the unbelievers questioned why Muhammad could not perform a single miracle for them, Allah could not answer them with a miracle. Note carefully how the “miracle-less” Allah evaded the challenge by drawing their attention to the fact that there are sufficient proofs of miracles in the Holy Bible:

Surah 20:133: “They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign (proof) from his Lord?” Has there not come to them the proof of that which is (written) in the former papers (Scriptures, i.e. the Taurat (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel)…” (Hilali-Khan)

They said, “If he could only show us a miracle from his Lord!” Did they not receive sufficient miracles with the previous messages? (Khalifa)

They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” “Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?” (Yusuf Ali)

As clarified in Hilali-Khan’s translation, the “former Books of revelation” are none other than the “Torah” and the “Gospel.” The Qur’an confirms that accounts of authentic Miracles or Signs can be found in the Holy Bible. Therefore, the source behind those miracles must be none other than the One who inspired the Holy Bible. The Bible identifies Him as Jehovah God. If Muslims need to know anything about true miracles, they must heed the Qur’an’s advice to look for them in the Holy Bible. As we have seen, not only Allah failed to perform any miracles through Muhammad but he also lied to cover up his failure. Muslims must realize that it is not an outside source but the evidences provided by the Qur’an itself proves that Allah is a liar. The fact that Jesus performed many miracles – as proven in the Qur’an – after the time of Salih, confirms the lies of Allah.

THE GOD OF TRUTH

In contrast, the Holy Bible tells us that it is impossible for Jehovah God to lie.

Hebrews 6:18: “It is impossible for God to lie.”

Titus 1:2: “In the hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before times eternal.”

If the God of the Bible cannot lie, then his revealed word, the Holy Bible must also be true. On the other hand, since Allah fabricated lies in the Qur’an, the Qur’an must surely be false.

As the Bible testifies, it is impossible for Jehovah to lie. He is 100% dependable. His word is always true and his promises are always sure. When we surrender our life to Him, we are guaranteed that he will do what he says. How refreshing it is to come across someone who not only will not lie, but by his very nature cannot lie. Christians must always keep this treasured quality of their God in mind every time they read the Bible, every time they pray and every time they reach out for His love, care and protection. Yes! God cannot lie. What a comforting and reassuring truth. What a grand privilege to worship a God of such integrity. What a grand blessing it is to worship Jehovah our heavenly Father.

Who then is the lying deity behind the inspiration of the Qur’an?

John 8:44: “You belong to your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own character, for he is a liar and the father of the lie.”

The Bible identifies Satan the Devil as a “liar and the father of the lie.” And as we can clearly see, there is irrefutable proof in the Qur’an that Allah lied. Thus, according to the Holy Bible, Satan is a liar. And according to the Qur’an, Allah is a liar. This fact helps us identify who Allah really is. This gives us another convincing reason to reject Islam.
