Four Iranian converts to Christianity were arrested last Tuesday in the city of Karaj, about an hour drive from Tehran, according to Persian media reports.

Two weeks before Christmas, Iranian security forces raided six houses the converts used as home churches, detained four and dragged them away. Milad Goudarzi, Amin Khaki, Alireza Nour-Mohammadi and Shehabuddin Shahi were engaged in a "Christian ceremony" prior to the arrest, according to Radio Farda, the Iranian branch of the US government-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty external broadcast service.

Furthermore, Radio Farda reported, security forces raided two shops belonging to two of the converts and confiscated some of their merchandise. One of the shops was sealed off for “overcharging,” “profiteering” and “breaking guild regulations.”

IRNA, the Iranian government's official news agency, defended the arrests.

“Elements of a devious Christian cult who were promoting it and attempting to disrupt the market and economic order have been arrested,” it claimed Tuesday.

Iran claims to allow freedom of religion, and has historically reserved five seats in its 290-member parliament for recognized religious minorities — one for a Jew, two for Christians and two for Zoroastrians — even since the Islamic revolution in 1979.

SANAA: The number of suspected cholera cases in war-torn Yemen has reached one million, the International Committee of the Red Cross said on Thursday.

“Yemen suspected cholera cases has reached the threshold of one million, amplifying the suffering of the country caught up in a brutal war,” the ICRC said on its Yemen Twitter account.

The World Health Organization warned in November that some 2,200 people have already died from the waterborne disease, which has propagated rapidly due to deteriorating hygiene and sanitation conditions.

Marc Poncin, the emergency coordinator for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Yemen, told AFP that cholera mortality rates had been on a downtrend in recent months but that the disease was far from vanquished.

“The vibrio is a very resistant bacteria that can survive in water for a very long period of time,” Poncin said, warning that next year’s rainy season could bring an uptick.

“As soon as there is a favourable situation for its increase then it’s there,” he added.

Yemen is in the midst of a bloody war between pro-government forces backed by a Saudi-led coalition and Houthi rebels who control the capital.

Coalition air raids killed 43 Houthi fighters in the Red Sea province of Hodeida in the past day alone, amid a push by pro-government forces to advance toward a key port there, medical and military sources said.

Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies intervened in the conflict on the side of the government in 2015 with air strikes and a far-reaching blockade on its neighbour’s air and sea ports.

In early November, the coalition tightened that blockade in response to a missile fired by the Houthis that was intercepted near Riyadh airport.

At the time, the UN aid chief warned the move would exacerbate an already dire humanitarian situation.

The blockade was partially lifted three weeks later under massive international pressure, namely over the closure of Hodeida port – key to humanitarian and commercial deliveries.

The coalition said in a statement Wednesday that it would not resort to closing rebel-held Hodeida in the wake of the attack.

More than 8,750 people have been killed since Saudi Arabia and its allies joined the government’s fight against the rebels, triggering what the UN has called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

Bulandshahr: In a shameful incident, a woman in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr was allegedly gang-raped by her brother-in-law and his friend, her father has claimed.

Adding to her woes, the woman’s husband divorced her through instant talaq or “triple talaq” after she complained to him about the incident, the victim’s father told news agency ANI.

According to local media reports, the incident happened on December 1, the day the victim had married the younger brother of the rape accused.

The reports also claimed that the brother-in-law and his friend not only gang-raped the victim but also shot a video footage of the heinous act. They threatened to upload the footage on social media if she informed anyone about the incident.

Reportedly, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and investigations were underway.

Cleric to Doctors: Don't Use 'UnIslamic' Red Cross Symbol…

KOZHIKODE: Controversial Salafi preacher Abdul Muhsin Aydeed has come up with a suggestion that Muslim doctors should not use the Red Cross emblem or the Rod of Asclepius symbol (representing Greek God of healing), as they are against the monotheism in Islam.
In a post titled 'Some Islamic Advise to Doctors' which appeared on Alaswala Facebook page, Aydeed also advised the doctors not to touch women patients as far as possible and not to encourage 'male-female mixing' in hospitals and consulting rooms.

"Certain symbols related to idol worship are widely seen in the houses, vehicles, consulting rooms and on the prescription pads of doctors. An example is the cross in red colour, which signifies the belief in Trinity by the Christians. Trinity is the worst form of the shirk (polytheism), and is the most detested sin in Islam," he said.

Similarly, the Rod of Asclepius, denotes the Greco-Roman Gods of life and health, he said. "The beliefs that destroys Thouheed (monotheism), the cardinal principle in Islam, should be kept at arm's length. These kinds of wrong beliefs may unknowingly sneak into the belief system of Muslims and they may distance themselves from Islam. A Muslim doctor should keep away from all the signs and slogans that are against Islam," he said.

The Salafi preacher said a Muslim woman can approach a male Muslim doctor if she fails to find a Muslim female doctor. "The male doctor should look at or touch the female patient only in an unavoidable situation. He should use hand gloves if he decides to touch the female patient," Muhsin said adding touching without gloves is allowed only in extreme situations.

The woman patient should be asked to cover all other parts of her body which do not need examination. The Islamic principle that a male should not be alone with an unknown female is applicable in the case of doctors too. "The presence of husband or 'mahrams' is mandatory while being examined by the male doctor, "Muhsin said. (Mahrams are the persons who are allowed to escort a Muslim woman when she travels) "At least a woman from the family of the patient should be present at the time of examination. If all these are not available, the male doctor should examine the patient after the keeping open the door and standing on the other side of a veil," suggests Muhsin.

In his opinion, cosmetic or plastic surgery is not allowed in Islam as it amounts to intervening in Allah's creation. "Undergoing plastic surgery for beautification of the body or to rejuvenate is not allowed. For example, treatment to set right the shapes of nose, abdomen or ear," he said.

Muhsin is a member of the extreme Salafi group that came into being in Kerala after numerous splits in Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM), the parent Salafi organisation in the state. He had earlier exhorted Muslims not to send their kids to public schools and had stated that the concept of nationalism is alien to Islam.

(Egypt) Church Ransacked by Mob of Muslims…

Cairo, (AFP) Hundreds of Egyptians ransacked a church south of Cairo and called for it to be demolished, the region's diocese said.

The attack on the church in Atfeh, 100 kilometres from the capital, took place on Friday after weekly Muslim prayers, the diocese said on its Facebook page.

Several churches, especially ones that have yet to be licenced by the government, have come under attack by local Muslims in the conservative south of the country.

The diocese said the Prince Tawadros church had been used for almost 15 years and had applied for a licence under a law passed last year meant to ease permits for new churches.

Hundreds of people massed in front of the building, chanting "hostile" slogans and calling for the church to be demolished, it said.

"They stormed the place and destroyed what was inside it, after assaulting the Christians there," the diocese said.

Egypt's Coptic Christians comprise up to 10 percent of the country's 93 million people and are the Middle East's largest religious minority.

They have come under sectarian attacks and been targeted by jihadists who have killed more than 100 people in church bombings and shootings since last December. (AFP) CPS .

SWEDEN SHOCKER: Muslim migrants gang-rape 17-year-old girl, then pour lighter fluid in her vagina and set it on fire

A 17-year-old girl was brutally attacked and gang-raped by Muslim invaders in Sofielund, Malmö. The attack occurred around 3 AM at a playground, with the victim suffering serious injuries, requiring hospitalization. Later reports state that after being raped by Muslim savages, the girl was tortured by them as they poured lighter fluid into her vagina, then set it on fire.

In yet another attack, a woman fell victim to a would-be Muslim rapist in central Stockholm around 2 AM. The attacker attacked the victim from behind, groped the young victim and tried to pull down her pants. The woman managed to flee and get help from a taxi driver who drove her to safety.

The attacks should come as no surprise to many Swedes. Police authorities have linked the increasing cases of crime to African and Muslim immigrants as early as the 1970’s, as articles from that era reveal.

The largest scandal thus far arose in early 2017, when police detective Peter Springare revealed the crime statistics and the ethnicities of the suspects. He also wrote on social media:

Other European countries with no regard for the well-being of their women have since followed suit, with the mayor of Cologne issuing “tolerance wristbands” in wake of New Years festivities. People of African/MIddle-Eastern origin raped or sexually assaulted more than 1000 girls in Cologne on New Years eve 2015.

Investigating the crimes of Muslim rapists can be a dangerous task. Those who speak out in an effort to protect Swedish women, are labeled racists, Nazis, xenophobes, etc, and their names and identities are recorded by far-left hate-organizations such as Expo Foundation.
