What does Scripture say about false teachers?

        A.  It is the personal responsibility of the individual believer to test doctrine (Ephesians 4:14) and see if it is "the doctrine of the Lord" (Acts 13:12), "sound" (I Timothy 1:10; 2 Timothy 4:3; Titus 1:9; 2:1) and "good" (Proverbs 4:2; I Timothy 4:6).

The fellowship of the Holy Spirit

The fellowship of the Holy Spirit is not one-way traffic. It is a sharing of wills, feelings, and knowledge. You share what you have and know with Him and He shares what He has and knows with you! Remember what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit? “He will tell you whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. He will honor and glorify Me because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. (John 16:13b-14)

Compared to our knowledge His is infinitely greater! He knows the secrets of Heaven. He has access to the heart of the Father. Whatever the Father speaks, He hears and will communicate it to you! That means that you can be up to date with whatever is current in the throne room of heaven.

Not only do we share in the victories and successes the Holy Spirit generates in us as a result of our obedience to His instructions, He also shares in our failures and challenges we face in real life situations. (Romans 8:26 “So too the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness”) He is our Comforter. He brings joy in the place of sorrow and gives beauty for ashes. In this amazing fellowship with Him all things work together for good for those who love God. In fact one of the greatest chapters in the Bible describing this tremendous partnership we have with the Holy Spirit is Romans 8. Go ahead and read the entire chapter today!

YOUR BODY WAS PURCHASED BY JESUS CHRIST

12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. (I Corinthians 6:12-20)

Your physical body now has a divine purpose - vv12, 13. Think about this: the purpose of a suitcase is to carry clothes and the purpose of a stove is to cook food. So, what do you do with the suitcase and stove? Sweeping the floor with the suitcase, or playing games on the stove would not be the correct use for these things. It is the same with your body now that it belongs to the Lord and is to be used for His purposes.

Your body is so important that, someday, God will raise it from the dead - v14. All who have the Holy Spirit living in them, have the guarantee that they will be risen to the glory of God. The Bible says "you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory" (Ephesians 1:13-14). You have a guarantee from God that He will not leave your body in the grave, but in the resurrection, you will receive a glorified body, no longer subject to pain, sickness, loneliness or sorrow. You will have a body suitable for the good things of life: joy, happiness, immortality, peace and eternal fellowship in Heaven with Jesus, God and all His other sons.

The Holy Spirit Dwells Within

I want to speak to you this month on the Holy Spirit. Today it will be "The Holy Spirit Dwells Within." It is sad there has been so much foolishness taught about the Holy Spirit. Instead of thinking about that sweet Person the Spirit as a beloved Person, equal with the Father and the Son, people think about talking in tongues or some other strange thing. I want you to think about our Friend, the Holy Spirit.

In Romans, chapter 15, verse 30, Paul says, "I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me."

"... the love of the Spirit." The Holy Spirit is a Person. He loves us. Oh, it is wonderful to think that the sweet Spirit of God who is within us and hovers about us, loves us and cares for us all the time.

And then He hears prayer. He is going to raise these bodies from the dead, as He raised the body of the Lord Jesus. He took part with Christ Jesus in the creation of the world, and when people are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, He is part of the Godhead, the Family of God.

The sweet Spirit of God is our Friend.

Now we find some sweet promises about the Spirit. We know in the Old Testament He came upon people; He endued people with power; He made revelations from God; He gave instructions - led people in what they should do. He was with God's people - not in them, but with them.

The Holy Spirit's Comfort, Guidance and Help

In John, chapter 14, verses 15 to 17, Jesus said:

"If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

Up until the resurrection of Christ, the Spirit of God was with Christians. Since He met with the disciples in the Upper Room in John, chapter 20, and came and breathed on them and said, "Receive ye the Holy Ghost," the Spirit of God moved into the bodies of Christians.

That was foretold in John 7, verses 37-39:

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)"

Now Jesus has risen from the dead. Now the Holy Spirit has moved into the bodies of Christians. Now He dwells not only with Christians, but within Christians.

And Romans 8:9 says, "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." Every saved person has the Spirit of God living in him.

First Corinthians 6:19 and 20 says,

"What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

HOLY SPIRIT OWNS YOU

You were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance (Ephesians 1:13–14)

The meaning of the "SEAL" in biblical times as today, is used to guarantee security or indicate ownership. The Holy Spirit seals those who trust in Christ. The Spirit's presence is God's guarantee that believers are owned by Him and secure in him.

When the Holy Spirit seals believers, He marks them as God’s divine possessions, who from that moment on entirely and eternally belong to Him, The Spirit’s seal declares the transaction of salvation as divinely official and final.

“You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwell-s in you,” Paul declares (Rom. 8:9a). Conversely, he goes on to say, “If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him” (v. 9b). Incredibly, the body of every true Christian is actually “a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in [him]” (1 Cor. 6:19).

Haki hupatikana hata Mahakamani kwa kuhongwa lakini huwezi honga Kweli. Kama unayo aya yeyote inayosema Uislam ni dini ya kweli, ilete hapa tuione.

Lete aya inayosema "Hakika dini ya kweli mbele za mwenyenzi Mungu ni uislamu uitoe hapa tusilimu". Ila huwezi simamia haki kama ndio kweli hebu ona mfano huu.

Watoto wawili wa Isaka Esau na Yakobo walifikia hatua wakauziana haki ya uzaliwa wa kwanza kwa chakula.

Dini ni lugha ya kiarabu maana yake ni njia au siku ya malipo soma Qur'an suratul fatihah 1:2-6. Utuongoze katika njia iliyo nyoka. Malik yaum din.

Na Qur'an 3:99 .....enyi mlio amini kwanini mnawazuilia watu na njia ya mwenyezi Mungu?

Je kama dini ni njia ya kuelekea kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Njia hiyo ya kweli ni ipi?

Yohana 24:1-6 Yesu anasema; Mimi ndimi njia kweli na uzima mtu haji kwa Baba ila kwa njia ya Mimi.

Inamaanisha kwamba ukifuata njia ya Yesu kwanza ni ya Kweli. Pia ina uzima ndani yake na zaidi hakuna mwanadamu awaye yote anaeweza fika Mbinguni bila kufuata njia ya Kristo.
