Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Oh, YES!

This is the true story of Leo the African Lion, Shere Khan the Bengal Tiger, and Baloo, the Black Bear.

The threesome was rescued as babies from the basement of an Atlanta drug dealer’s home when it was raided by authorities.

The three were starving, traumatized, and had serious bacterial infections.

Since then, they were brought to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary.

And they have lived together there in the same habitat for 13 years.

The only time the three were separated was when Baloo was sent to surgery to remove a harness put on him by the drug dealer which was so tight, it had grown into his skin.

The lion and tiger were distraught when Baloo was separated from the group and cried for his return everyday. Since then, the three have never been apart.

The three species which would never live together in the wild, had formed an eternal bond in captivity which defied their natural instincts. Now they live together as brothers in one happy family.

They play together, nuzzle one another, and show extreme affection for each other.
