(Ayubu 6:24) Kudhibiti ulimi wetu ili tusiseme mambo ya siri ya wengine kunaonyesha kwamba tuna busara na utambuzi. (Met. 20:19) Isitoshe, ni jambo la hekima kuzuia ulimi wetu tunapokasirishwa.—Zaburi 4:4.

Leo, burudani nyingi huwachochea watu ‘kunoa ulimi wao kama upanga’ na kufyatua ‘maneno machungu kama mishale.’ (Zaburi 64:3) Mkristo anapaswa kuepuka mazoea hayo hatari. Mfano mmoja wa “maneno machungu” ni kejeli, yaani maneno yaliyokusudiwa kuwadhalilisha au kuwashutumu wengine. Mara nyingi kejeli huanza kama ucheshi, lakini inaweza kugeuka haraka na kuwa maneno yasiyo ya heshima au matusi. Kejeli zenye kuumiza ni mojawapo ya matukano ambayo Wakristo wanapaswa ‘kuyaondolea mbali.’ Ucheshi unaweza kufanya mazungumzo yawe yenye kufurahisha. Hata hivyo, tunahitaji kuepuka mtego wa kuwachekesha watu kwa kutumia maneno yasiyofaa au kebehi ambazo zitawaumiza au kuwadhalilisha wengine. Biblia inatuhimiza hivi: “Neno lililooza na lisitoke kinywani mwenu, bali neno lolote ambalo ni jema kwa ajili ya kujenga kulingana na uhitaji, ili liwape wasikiaji lile linalofaa.”—Efeso 4:29, 31.

Yesu alifundisha kwamba “kinywa kinasema kutokana na mambo yaliyojaa katika moyo.” (Mt. 12:34) Hivyo, kuchagua maneno yanayofaa huanzia moyoni. Kwa kawaida, maneno yetu hufunua hisia zetu kuelekea watu wengine. Ikiwa kweli tunawapenda na kuwajali watu, yaelekea tutazungumza mambo yanayofaa na yanayowajenga wengine.

AUSTRALIA: Muslim paedophile, 34, pleads guilty to marrying a 14-year-old girl in a Melbourne mosque

Unbelievably, as part of the plea bargain, he will NOT be charged with raping the child after their marriage, as charges were withdrawn by prosecutors in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

UK DAILY MAIL  (h/t Valerie C) Mohammad Shakir, 34, is charged with going through a formal ceremony of marriage with a person not of marriageable age at Noble Park last September. 

The ceremony was conducted in Noble Park by former imam Ibrahim Omerdic, 61, who also faces charges relating to the illegal marriage. He will front court in May for a contested hearing.

The girl is in a ‘fragile state’ and has ‘ongoing health issues’, prosecutor Ranjani Padmanabhan told Melbourne Magistrates Court in February.

HAMAS caught using two Gaza Muslim sisters crossing into Israel for cancer treatment to smuggle in explosives

Once again, Hamas has used an Israeli humanitarian gesture to attempt a terror attack.

JTA  The Muslim sisters were approved for entry into Israel so that one could receive free life-saving treatment for her illness. According to the Shin Bet statement, a preliminary investigation showed that the explosives were sent by Hamas be used in a terrorist attack on Israeli targets in the “near future.”

The explosives, used in the production of homemade bombs, were hidden in tubes carried by the women labeled “medical materials,” the Shin Bet security service said in a statement issued Wednesday evening, hours after the women were stopped at the Erez Crossing. 

The incident “attests to the ongoing efforts by terrorist organizations based in the Gaza Strip, especially Hamas, to exploit Israel’s humanitarian initiatives and the medical assistance that it provides to residents of the Gaza Strip, in order to perpetrate attacks in Israel,” the Shin Bet said.

Defense Ministry Crossings Authority Director Brig.-Gen. (ret.) Kamil Abu Rokon praised the Erez Crossing security inspectors for thwarting the smuggling bid. “To our regret, it has been proven again that Gaza Strip-based terrorists are continuing their efforts to exploit the humanitarian channel in order to carry out attacks in Israel,” he said in a statement. “The security inspectors acted exactly as expected, with exemplary professionalism.”

 This is not the first time something like this has happened. A few years ago, a Palestinian woman who had received several weeks of costly and successful free treatment in an Israeli hospital, returned to the hospital for a follow-up appointment wearing a suicide belt. She was apprehended before she could blow herself up.

COURAGEOUS Catholic School teacher under fire for trying to teach students the truth about Islam

The Catholic diocese of Orlando, Florida, says it has (ignorantly) reprimanded a teacher at a Catholic school in the state for giving his sixth-grade religion class a reading assignment that called Islam ‘immoral and corrupting’ and also called the Prophet Muhammad a “villain” and an “ignoramus.”

Huffington Post  Mark Smythe, a religion and social studies teacher at Blessed Trinity Catholic School in Ocala, gave students printouts of a 19th-century Catholic text that refers to Islam as a “monstrous mixture” of faiths. It also calls the doctrines of the Prophet Muhammad “ridiculous, immoral and corrupting.”

“We have spoken to the principal of Blessed Trinity Catholic School, Ocala and to the teacher in question and have reprimanded the teacher for this unfortunate exhibit of disrespect,” Jacquelyn Flanigan, an associate superintendent at the Diocese of Orlando’s Catholic school system, said in a statement.  

Flanigan didn’t elaborate on what she meant by “reprimanded.” Smythe did not respond to a request for comment. A leftist Muslim-sympathizing mother with a child in Smythe’s class gave copies of the reading assignment to a friend, who then sent the copies to The Huffington Post through the Documenting Hate project. 

“[The mother] shared this with me while she could not stop crying,” the friend wrote. (Oh, please, why isn’t she crying for all the Christians being murdered by Muslims all over the world?)

The reading assignment appears to be an excerpt from an 1853 text about Islam by priest Giovanni Bosco, who later became a saint.

In the imagined dialogue between a father and his sons, the father explains how Jesus Christ is superior to the Prophet Muhammad, who “degrades and dishonors human nature and by placing all happiness in sensual pleasures, reduces man to the level of filthy animals.” 

Elsewhere in the text, Muhammad is described as a “charlatan,” “villain,” “ignoramus,” “imposter” and “false prophet” who “couldn’t even write” and “propagated his religion, not through miracles or persuasive words, but by military force.” 

The Quran, the holy book of Islam, is also called “a series of errors, the most enormous ones being against morality and the worship of the true God.”

WHO KNEW? The prophet Mohammed discovered a cure for cancer

Following a Moroccan TV report on the drinking of camel urine as a cure for cancer, Moroccan oncologists have slammed the claim, saying that camel urine is not fit for human consumption. Apparently, that hasn’t stopped millions of Arab Muslims from drinking the potion for its supposed health benefits.

Reuters Initial scientific studies have linked MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) to camels, but disease experts say it is not at all clear how the infection passes from the animals. Many people infected in the community and in hospitals report no contact with camels, they note. MERS causes coughing, fever and breathing problems, and can lead to pneumonia and kidney failure, and even death.

While many of these people may not have access to camels, there is an abundance of Camel-based products on the market, not the least of which is camel urine for human consumption.

There are even conferences on the “wonders and secrets of healing from camel urine,” that “camel urine is the miracle of our time and is a gift from Muhammad to mankind.”

Fatin Khorshid, of the King Fahd Medical Research Center sees it as the ultimate solution to “all sorts of ailments” like “cancer,” “digestive tract,” “diarrhea,” “sexual dysfunction,” “liver disease,” “skin ulcers,” “cosmetics,” etc.

AUSTRALIA: Baptist Minister says, “Don’t be afraid of being called Islamophobic”

Baptist reverend George Capsis, born in Egypt, says Australia needs to deport Muslim extremists and stop taking in fundamentalist Muslims, saying the large-scale migration of hardline Islamofascists from the Middle East was a threat to Australian democracy.

UK Daily Mail  ‘We can’t have open slather like we used to. We’ve got to be more discerning,’ he told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday. ‘We mustn’t be afraid to be called Islamophobic. We’ve got to be more careful in our immigration policy. If we do not protect the freedoms we have in this country, they’ll be eroded.’

Mr Capsis, a minister at Croydon in Sydney’s inner west, said Islamic migrant preachers were radicalizing the children of migrants and needed to be deported, echoing a call from Adelaide imam Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi. ‘We probably should deport some people who preach hate,” he said.

His call comes only weeks after Hizb ut-Tahrir spokesman Uthman Badar, who was born in Pakistan, told a forum at Bankstown library, in south-west Sydney, that ex-Muslims deserved capital punishment. This same Islamic group, which wants a Muslim caliphate based on sharia law, also produced a video last week justifying domestic violence.

Sydney’s west is home to the hardline Sunni Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah Association, whose preachers have described as sinful attending non-Muslim events, having non-Muslim friends and even using a public urinal.

Mr Capsis, the 70-year-old son of Greek Orthodox parents who moved to Australia at age four from Egypt, said Islamic fundamentalism had never been a success. ‘Unlike Christianity, which has brought prosperity and civilization wherever it is established such as the U.S., the United Kingdom Australia, Islamic fundamentalism takes communities back to the dark ages,’ he said.

‘The evidence is pretty clear: the red flag is waving in our faces,’ Mr Capsis said. ‘Islam is now more culturally political than religious.’

A tipping point with radical Islamism had been reached in Australia, he said, with many people determined not to follow examples set in Europe. ‘The tide has turned. We’re going to see more Christian leaders come out and make a stand,’ he said. ‘We’ve got to protect ourselves. Australian society is not going to tolerate this anymore.’
