A senior detective fighting knife crime in London warned today that police are engaged in the “business of murder suppression” as they battle to contain the rise in the number of stabbings.

Evening Standard  A man has died after being stabbed in broad daylight in east London, the latest in a surge of fatal knife attacks in the capital. Paramedics tried to resuscitate the man, in his 40s, for about an hour after they found him in Eagling Close, in Bow, at 4.31pm on Saturday.

Officers had been called to the street amid reports of an “altercation”, where they found the man suffering from suspected stab injuries, a Met Police spokeswoman said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5.37pm.

Two (Muslim?) men were arrested nearby in connection with the incident. It come just a day after the Standard launched an investigation into the capital’s knife crime epidemic, with 11 Londoners killed in just 16 days.

Also in East London, man with meat cleaver ‘threatens Jewish 8-year-old girl’ shouting “you Jews run away from here before I kill you.”

MIRROR  The man was caught on CCTV waving the knife in the street and reportedly threatened an eight-year-old Jewish girl as well as a sho keeper.  He allegedly shouted the threat as he ran out of a Kosher food shop in Hackney, east London last night. The man can be seen in the footage below holding the meat cleaver at arms length and making jabbing motions.

A 70 year old Swedish woman in Dalarna is being prosecuted for hate speech after writing on Facebook that Muslim immigrants are defecating in the streets and other public venues, which they are, as you can see clearly in the videos below.

Saudi Cleric Calls Trump 'Servant of Allah'…

A Saudi cleric has found himself in hot water after he publicly made a prayer for ‘servant of Allah’ Donald Trump to advance the interests of Muslims.

Saad bin Ghoniem said on Friday that he hoped God would take Trump under his wing and steer him in the right direction towards ending injustice against Muslims, prompting an online backlash.

Ghoniem tweeted:

O Allah, Trump is one of your servants, you control him and his fate. Command him – willingly or not – to serve the best interests of Muslims and eliminate oppression done to them. Spare us from his evil deeds and guide him on the right path

The cleric’s invocation for Trump to aid the Muslim world did not go down so well on social media with dozens of users harshly criticising the post.

“I spit on your beard all you have left to do is pray he goes to heaven. Even the devil would be too ashamed to do this,” one Twitter user replied to the sheikh, sharing a report about civilian casualties in a US-led coalition air raid in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

Another user said: “You think that Trump the Zionist, who is battling Islam, will do good for the religion. Shame! You will be held accountable for your words.”

Other users told Ghoniem he should rather pray for the hundreds of Yemeni children who have been killed during the Saudi-led military intervention against the Houthi rebels.

Trump made several controversial comments about Islam and its followers during his election campaign last year. Despite this and a “Muslim ban” being put in place by Trump, Gulf states appear to have warmed to the new president. The US President announced this week that Riyadh would be the first stop on his overseas tour later this month.

Trump has reportedly intensified negotiations for arms deals with Saudi Arabia ahead of the visit, despite growing concerns over the kingdom’s military campaign in Yemen.

Cleric: Beat Your Wife and Humiliate Her, But Don't Break Any Bones…

In a recent video posted on YouTube and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a Kuwaiti cleric explained the Islamic rules for beating one's wife, how the "beatings must not be hard," and the husband "shouldn't break her bones" or "beat her on her face."

A cleric is a Muslim scholar trained in Islam and Islamic law (sharia). In the video, posted by MEMRI, Kuwaiti Cleric Othman  Al-Khamis states, “Allah says in the Quran, ‘As for those whom you fear disobedience, admonish them. Do not share their bed, and beat them. Then, if they obey you, seek no means against them. Allah is ever exalted.’"

"If a woman disobeys her husband, he begins by admonishing her," says cleric Al-Khamis.  "He does not move beyond admonishment unless he despairs of this means and his wife did not benefit from the admonishment. If this does not help, he moves on to refusing to share her bed. This is kept within the home, not outside."

"He does not share her bed," explains the cleric. "In other words, he refrains from having sex with her. This is what this step means. He continues to live in the same house with her but refrains from having sex with her."

“This is a psychological measure of discipline against the wife," he explains.  "If this rectifies the situation, all praise be to Allah."

"If not, he can beat her," says the Kuwaiti cleric. "But the beatings must no be hard. He must not beat her like he would beat a man. The beatings must not be hard. It is more of a psychological beating, the purpose of which is to humiliate the wife."

He continues, "The purpose of the beating is to make her feel that he is cross, that he is angry. Some of the ancient scholars even said that he should beat her with a sewak dental twig. Imagine that. That is not a sewak. Let me show you. Just a second. [He pulls out a small stick.]  This is my sewak."

"Some scholars have said that he should beat her with a sewak because the beating itself is not the goal," says the cleric.  "The goal is to make her feel that he is upset. He shouldn’t beat her like he would beat a man. The beatings must not be hard."

“He shouldn’t break her bones, and he shouldn’t beat her on her face," he explains.

British Imam Servant of Prophet Muhammad Arrested for Murder…

THE imam of a Bradford mosque has been arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of carrying out a murder committed nearly 14 years ago.

Syed Sibtain Kazmi, 57, who lives in Bradford, was held by Pakistani police this morning, reportedly after he attempted to fly home from Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad.

His arrest is understood to relate to the murder of Maulana Azam Tariq, the chief of the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba group, in 2003.

Kazmi, a Shia Muslim, leads worship at the Anjuman e Haideria mosque, a former children’s hospital in St Mary’s Road, Manningham.

He was born in Pakistan, and is said to make regular return visits to his home country.

Naz Shah, the Labour Parliamentary candidate for Bradford West, was in contact with the Chief Minister in Pakistan today to try to get more details of his arrest.

She said she was told Kazmi had been arrested on suspicion of “historic murder” and was being held on remand for five days.

She told the Telegraph & Argus she would be in close contact with the country’s Home Secretary about any updates in the case.

Pakistani media reported that the country’s Federal Investigation Agency had sent the team to the airport after learning Kazmi was due to leave the country on a Qatar Airline flight to Manchester via Doha.

He was apprehended and handed over to the police.

Maulana Azam Tariq was shot dead, along with four other passengers of his vehicle, near Islamabad in October 2003.

He was then a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan.

As well as his work in the Anjuman e Haideria mosque, Kazmi speaks across the UK and internationally.

After Samia Shahid, 28, of Bradford, was the victim of an alleged honour killing last year, Kazmi, who had helped with her divorce from her first husband and blessed her second marriage, revealed he had received death threats.

He was also one of the faith leaders who attended a vigil in City Park in March this year as a response to the Westminster terror attack which cost the lives of five innocent people, including a police officer.

At the vigil Kazmi told a Telegraph & Argus reporter: “We feel strongly that terrorists are against all humanity.

“We stand here, regardless of race or faith, as an act of solidarity against all acts of terrorism.”

Tonight, a Foreign Office spokesman said it had no record of Kazmi’s arrest and had not received any requests for consular assistance.

BBC Makes Documentary on Muslim Rape Gangs - Exonerates Islam…

The BBC has made a drama about girls affected by Muslim rape gangs – with no mention of Islam in press releases or the trailer, the writer claiming “there was no religious basis for this”.

Three Girls, which will be aired 16 May on BBC One, tells the story of three children from Rochdale targeted by a gang of Pakistani and Afghani origin Muslims between 2005 and 2008.

The case resulted in the 2012 conviction of the nine men for serious sexual offences, including rape and human trafficking, inflicted on girls as young as 13.

“The drama will look at the way in which these girls were groomed, how they were ignored by the authorities directly responsible for protecting them, and how they eventually made themselves heard,” the BBC explained in a statement.

Speaking to The Guardian, the series writer Nicole Taylor, insisted: “There was no religious basis for this, but a wider discussion about why this was, and is, a distinct pattern would be welcome.”

She said she “didn’t want to give these people [the English Defence League] an opportunity”, by telling the story, adding: “But that’s not a reason to do the drama.”

However, sentencing the men at the time, Judge Gerald Clifton bluntly disagreed, clearly stating that religion was a factor in the case and part of what motivated the men to treat the girls as they did.

He said the men treated the girls “as though they were worthless and beyond respect”.

“One of the factors leading to that was the fact that they were not part of your community or religion.”

The BBC insisted they had done extensive research and worked with victims to tell the true story as accurately as possible.

Writer Ms. Taylor added: “Whatever I thought I knew about what had happened in Rochdale, I knew nothing until I met the girls and their families.

“Listening to them was the beginning of understanding – not just of the terrible suffering they experienced, but of the courage it took to persist and persist over years, in telling authorities who didn’t want to know, and ultimately participate in the court proceedings that brought justice.”

Muslim Wife Burned Alive After Objecting to Extra-Marital Affair…

A 25-year-old woman was burnt alive allegedly by her husband and relatives at Hathras in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday night. The incident occurred after the victim, Sonam, reportedly objected to her husband’s extra-marital relationship with another person.

Waheed Khan, a resident of Jama Masjid in Khair, had married his two daughters off to the sons of one Liaqat Ali from Lala Ka Nagla area in Hathras four years ago. While the elder daughter – Rehana (28) – was made to wed Sauqi, Sonam entered into a marital alliance with 26-year-old Mister.

The deceased’s relatives alleged that Ali’s family had been torturing the two sisters since the day of their marriage. Their worst fears came true on Wednesday night, when Rehana called them to say that Mister had joined hands with his mother and a few other relatives to murder Sonam.
