Iran to Arab States: Befriending Israel Violates Quran…

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday slammed Muslim nations that maintain ties and friendships with Israel, saying it “brings misery to Muslims.”
In a series of tweets, Khamenei called on the Muslim world to unite against “bullying” by America and “other domineering powers,” and said US President Donald Trump’s recent boasting that some Arab regimes would collapse within a week without US support was a “humiliation.”
In a different tweet, he wrote: “Friendship with the unbelievers brings misery to Muslims, like the friendship some Muslim states have with the Zionist regime, exchanging kind words and establishing economic or political relations.”
Khamenei described the current state of affairs in the Middle East as “an internal war in our Islamic region,” and slammed countries that have been aligning with the US, without explicitly naming them.
“Unwise and reactionary governments of certain countries have entered into wars against other countries,” he charged. “Look at the calamity Yemenis are afflicted with! Their wedding celebrations turn into mourning ceremonies: People are bombarded on streets, at bazaars and mosques.”
That the U.S. president shamelessly says, ‘without the U.S., heads of some Arab states cannot maintain themselves even for a week’, is a humiliation for Muslims.
Yemen has been at the center of a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran, with Iran-aligned Houthi rebels locked in a three-year war with Riyadh-backed government forces.
Khamenei also singled out “Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Syria,” where “the brutality is revealed in a different way.”
He charged that Muslims “have forgotten to value friendship between the believers; we don’t act according to Quran…If we do, we will gain dignity. This is the path to Muslims’ happiness.”
The tweet-storm came amid an ongoing war of words between Iran and the US over Trump’s threat to leave the landmark 2015 nuclear deal unless it is changed.
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday questioned the legitimacy of demands for a fresh nuclear agreement with Tehran, after the leaders of the US and France called for a “new” deal.

“Together with a leader of a European country they say: ‘We want to decide on an agreement reached by seven parties.’ What for? With what right?” Rouhani said in a speech.
Trump has fiercely criticized a three-year-old deal reached by world powers to curb Iran’s nuclear program. He’s called for a broader pact that also limits Iran’s ballistic missile program and support for armed groups across the Middle East.
European signatories to the 2015 deal have been scrambling to salvage it, though French President Emmanuel Macron said Tuesday after talks with Trump that he wished “to work on a new deal with Iran,” of which the nuclear accord could be one part.
Iran has repeatedly insisted it is sticking to the nuclear deal and will not negotiate over its missile program.

Muslim 'Radicalization' Spreads to Mozambique…

Three new attacks allegedly by radicalised Muslim youth in northern Mozambique have left one dead and three injured in recent days, sources told AFP on Wednesday.
A spate of violence has erupted in the region since October when an apparent jihadist assault targeted a police station and military post, leaving two officers and 14 attackers dead.
In that attack, dozens of armed men, known locally as "al-Shabaab" - Arabic for "youth" though with no confirmed link to the Somali jihadist group of the same name - were involved.
The latest assaults, on Saturday and Sunday, targeted two villages near the towns of Mocimboa da Praia and Palma, not far from the border with Tanzania, said sources on condition of anonymity.
Police are not allowed to speak to the press, but the attacks and toll were confirmed by local residents who said small farms were targeted.
Armed incidents and kidnappings have increased in the region since last year, fuelled by long-suppressed frustrations in the majority-Muslim north.
At least 300 Muslims have been arrested and several mosques forced to close.
President Filipe Nyusi has also fired the heads of the army and the intelligence agencies, blaming them for having missed warning signs of the unrest.
Mozambique has claimed a proud record of peaceful coexistence of different religions, but the country's north has largely been excluded from the economic growth of the last 20 years.

Rapist Imam: She Came On to Me…

An imam, accused of twice raping a teenager during spiritual healing, told a jury she had urged him to have sex with her – but he turned her down.
Komar Uddin (68), a dad of 11 and a grandad, said the young woman became annoyed at being spurned then threatened to expose him as an illegal immigrant.
He told Leicester Crown Court that he had been an imam at various English mosques, since 2006, and had successfully healed people in the community.
He said the woman’s father asked him to perform a ceremony at their Leicester home, because his daughter was concerned about evil spirits.
The father suggested a private ritual in her bedroom, he claimed, which went ahead with candles, incense, holy oil and prayers, in February 2015.
Uddin claimed the young woman confided in him fearing she was pregnant and was worried her boyfriend would not marry her – and asked him for help.
He offered to discuss the matter with her father – but she insisted he must not tell him.
Uddin claimed that after holy oil was rubbed on to her stomach, she made a sexual pass at him and placed his hand on her private parts.
He said he removed his hand and refused, saying she was the same age as his grandchildren.
The defendant told the court they did not have sex and she was a liar.
He claimed he was impotent and could not have committed the alleged sexual acts in any event.
Uddin claimed not to understand why his DNA was allegedly found on two swabs taken from the woman.
He told the jury: “It might have been a mistake or an accident – it’s not mine.”
Uddin, formerly of Lincoln Street, Leicester, denies sexually assaulting the teenager, causing her to engage in sexual activity and two counts of rape.
Giving evidence in his defence, he told the court he was educated in Bangladesh, where he was also an imam, and a successful faith healer since 1985, having cured people with epilepsy.
He came to the UK on a six-month visa in 2006 and overstayed without permission.
He said that while performing the healing ceremony, her family were in the house, with her father coming into the bedroom several times to check that she was all right. He said that no-one had ever complained about him before.
He was arrested and bailed two days after the alleged rapes.
Uddin said he was asked to leave his accommodation a month later and went to stay in various areas, including at a London mosque, before going to France and then Germany.
Uddin was extradited back to the UK last November to face trial, the jury was told.
Under cross-examination, Richard Thatcher, prosecuting, accused Uddin of changing his account and telling lies to the jury, which he denied.
Mr Thatcher said: “You’re saying this 19-year-old girl wanted sex with you, and forced your hand on to her, whilst her father was in the next room, in the same house?”
Uddin replied: “She wanted to make me happy.”
The trial continues.

11-Year-Old Rape Survivor Rescued from Islamic Seminary…

Image result for RAPE INDIANEW DELHI: The 11-year-old rape survivor, who was rescued from a madrassa in Sahibabad on Sunday, in her statement before a magistrate under CrPC Section 164 said that on April 21 she had stepped out of her house to go to a shop when another girl, a neighbour, called her over to meet a friend. This is when she met the accused juvenile who took her to Sahibabad.

Police have invoked Section 4 of POCSO Act in the FIR following her statement. The maulvi at the madrassa, who was detained for questioning on Wednesday, may get arrested. The juvenile will also be questioned.

The survivor said that the 17-year-old accused and the maulvi at the madrassa would lock her in a room after sexually assaulting her. Her cries for help went unheard as classes would be held in the adjacent room. During her captivity, the survivor said that a few other people had also touched her inappropriately. Efforts are on to identify them as well.

Cops found the survivor lying wrapped in a floor mat on the first floor of the madrassa during the rescue operation. The room in which she was locked up was used by the maulvi to rest between classes. The house belongs to the local mosque committee that had appointed the maulvi last year to teach children. Police are probing whether he was involved in kidnapping other children as well.

While scanning through the call records of the juvenile, it was found that he had been in touch with the survivor throughout the day on which she went missing. Crime Branch is also checking the call records to ascertain whether he had called others to sexually assault the survivor.

The juvenile told police during counselling that he was a student of the madrassa and had met the girl when her family used to stay in Sahibabad, before they shifted to Ghazipur. He had decided to lure her after that.

Meanwhile, family members of the survivor staged a protest at Ghazipur police station demanding the arrest of the other accused in the case. “We are conducting an inquiry into the allegations of the parents. The medical reports are awaited and further action will be taken on their basis,” said joint CP (crime) Alok Kumar.

The survivor’s uncle said that a second medical examination was conducted on her after they alleged gang rape and she was sent to a children’s home for counselling on Wednesday. “We have been demanding the arrest of others who visited the madrassa. Our child is in a state of shock and has not been able to narrate her ordeal to us properly,” said a relative.

MUSLIM 'Refugee' Says He Didn't Know that Raping a 12-Year-Old is Illegal…

An unaccompanied refugee “child” has been sentenced to 6 months of youth detention for raping a 12-year-old girl in Sweden. In a police interview, the Syrian said that he did not know it was illegal to have sex with a child. The teen has also been convicted of other serious crimes, but will not be deported.
The investigation into the case started after Swedish journalist Joakim Lamotte revealed that the police ignored the rape case of the young girl, Fria Tider reports.
After Lamotte’s revelation, a national debate was ignited in which the national police commissioner and Prime Minister Stefan Löfven were involved. After almost a year the research of the case was finished, Lamotte wrote ‘a shame’ in a Facebook post.
Uddevalla District court found the man guilty of two counts of child rape, sentencing him to 6 months of youth detention. This judgement included punishment for threats made by the man to an official and a school-girl. The Syrian has also been ordered to pay the 12-year-old victim SEK 140,000 (13,300 euros) in damages.
During questioning, the Syrian migrant stated that he was unaware that it was forbidden to have intercourse with a person younger than 15 years of age. However, the judge made it clear that ignorance of the law is not an excuse, and therefore this defence had no effect on the judgment.
The age of consent in Syria is 15, per Article 491. Article 491: 1, and intercourse with a minor is punishable by 9 years’ imprisonment at hard labour. However, in many Islamic communities, sexual maturity is informally dictated by Sharia law, which indicates that it can be reached from the age of 9 lunar years (approximately eight years and eight months), and so breaches of Syrian law often go unpunished.
According to court, the man was 17 years of age and came to Sweden from Syria in 2014 as an unaccompanied child refugee.

Ugandans Shocked to Discover Mosque is a Den for Militants…

Ugandan police stumble on mosque 'radicalization center'

Police made the discovery after a suspect they were following bolted into the mosque, apparently seeking safe haven. Two suspects were killed during a shootout, after which police discovered dozens of hostages.Several school girls after their being freed from their Boko Haram captors in March.
Ugandan police stumbled onto a "radicalization center" at a mosque in the capital, shooting dead two suspects, arresting dozens more and freeing more than 100 women and children being held against their will, officials announced Saturday.
The confrontation occurred Friday as police were pursuing a suspect thought to have been involved in a high-profile kidnapping and murder earlier in the year. Police followed the man into the Usafi Mosque in Kampala and discovered it was a den for militants.
Two of the alleged militants were shot dead during the ensuing shootout, and one police officer was wounded.

Subsequently, 36 suspects were arrested and charged with hoarding weapons. Police also discovered 18 women and 94 children being held against their will inside the mosque.
"A number of children and women, suspected to either have been kidnapped or held hostage, were rescued," police spokesman Emilian Kayima told a press conference on Saturday.
"Two of the hostage-takers were shot dead after violently attacking and severely injuring one of the security officers," Kayima added.
He said the original suspect whom the police followed into the mosque was taken into custody.
Police are continuing to investigate the connection between the original suspect and the militants found inside the mosque.
Machetes and bullets
The men taken into custody are suspected of being involved with the kidnapping and illegal detention of the women and children. Some of the detainees were Ugandan but others came from neighboring East African countries, including Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi.

Police also confiscated 23 machetes, dozens of bullets and a bow and arrow after the shootout.
Police believe that the suspect they were following realized he was being trailed and ran into the mosque to seek safe haven.
Interior Minister Jeje Odong said police were taken by surprise when they discovered the weapons, women and children inside the mosque, it was not "planned or intended," he said.
"If the suspect had not gone into the mosque we would have had no reason to enter," Odong said. "We take strong exception to places of worship being used to commit crime."
The children discovered inside the mosque "looked scared and traumatized," Odong added.
Earlier this year, after a member of a prominent Ugandan family was kidnapped, a series of ransom demands were made. But in February, three weeks after her abduction, the body of Susan Magara was found.
The crime shocked Ugandans, and President Yoweri Museveni ordered intelligence agencies to lead an investigation into her murder.
