KITABU CHA MWANZO (SEHEMU YA PILI)

S: Hoja kuwa "kushindwa kuelezeka kirahisi kwa ulimwengu kunaonyesha kuwa ni lazima kuwe na muumba" inaonekana nzuri, hadi inapochukuliwa kwenye hitimisho lake la kimantiki. Vipi kuhusu ugumu wa Mungu kueleweka? Kama kitu chenye utatanishi kinahitaji muumba basi Mungu lazima ahitaji muumba mkubwa zaidi, na kwa jinsi hiyohiyo na kuendelea. Je hoja hii inaishia wapi? Hoja hii inaishia na "kurudi nyuma kusikokuwa na ukomo," na hakuna jibu kwa hili? Ama je lipo?

Kama a), kusingekuwa na mwisho wa kurudi nyuma kusikokuwa na ukomo, basi si kila kitu kingekuwa na chanzo kwa sababu kurudi nyuma kusikokuwa na mwisho kwenyewe hakuna chanzo. Kwa hiyo, kwa vyovyote vile kuna mtu/kitu ambacho hakina chanzo.
Kama b), kuna mwisho wa kurudi nyuma kusikokuwa na mwisho, basi ni lazima kuwe na chanzo cha kwanza, cha ugumu fulani wa kufahamika. Kwa ajili hiyo, jambo hili linamaanisha kuwa Mungu si nafsi iliyotokana na kitu kingine, si matunda ya uumbaji.
Hata hivyo nashangaa, kama Mungu angeiona hoja hii yote kuwa nyepesi namna hii, kw asababu tunafikiri kuhusu vyanzo ndani ya muda. Kama mungu anaishi nje ya muda na pia ndani yake, na kama muda ni kitu kimojawapo kilichoumbwa na Mungu, basi kusema kuwa hali ilikuwaje kabla ya kuwepo kwa Mungu ni kujipinga.
S: Kwenye Mwanzo 1, Mungu anaweza kuwa aliumba viumbe wengine na ulimwengu mwingine?
J: Aliumba viumbe wengine: malaika na mapepo. Kuhusu kuumba ulimwengu mwingine wenye viumbe ndani yake, Biblia haituambii haya yote tunayotaka kujua — na tunapaswa kuhakikisha kuwa walau tunasoma jambo hilo. Mungu angeweza kuwa ameumba ulimwengu mwingine, na huenda hizo ndizo mbungu na kzimu.
S: Kwenye Mwanzo 1, kwa nini Mungu aliwaumba Adam na Hawa, kwa kuwa Munug alijua kabla kwamba hawatamtii?
J: Pamoja na Mungu kujua kuwa watafanya dhambi, anatuambia vitu kadhaa kutuonyesha kuwa kwa nini aliumba watu.

Mungu hataki mtu yoyote apotee. Ezekiel 18:23, 32; 33:11; 2 Petro 3:9. Hata hivyo, Mungu hajuti kwa kuwaumba watu ambao walipopewa nafasi walichagua kwa hiari zao wenyewe kumkataa. Mungu aliishajua kabla kuwa watafanya dhambi, na bado hakupenda kuingilia uchaguzi wao au "kutokuwaumba."

J: Hapana. Kwamba Roho Mtakatifu hana mwili na anaweza kutembea juu ya maji haipingani na ukweli kwamba Maandiko yanamwonyesha Roha Mtakatifu kuwa kiumbe kinachoishi na chenye nafsi.

Shahidi anaweza kuwa ni nafsi hai au kitu kisichokuwa na uhai. Kosa la Mashahidi wa Yehova (Jehovah’s Witnesses) ni kwamba kwa kuwa Roho Mtakatifu ana sifa nyingi ambazo mwanadamu hana, basi (kwa kupanua hoja) Roho Mtakatifu hawezi kuwa na nafsi. Kwenye 1 Yohana 5:6-8 tunaona kuwa kuna mashahidi watatu wa ukweli kuwa Yesu alikuwa na mwili. Damu inayomaanisha kusulubiwa kwake, na Roho ni ushuhuda wa ndani kwa Wakristo. Maji yanamaanisha kubatizwa kwa Yesu na Yohana, au yawezekana maji yanayomzunguka mtoto wakati wa kuzaliwa.

The New Apostolic Church draws a positive conclusion


Munich/Zurich. The first ever International Church Convention of the New Apostolic Church came to an end on Sunday evening. Blessed with beaming sunshine and, for the most part, high summer temperatures, Christians from many parts of the world celebrated their faith with great enthusiasm over the space of three days. Some 50,000 participants assembled in Munich’s Olympia Park for the International Church Convention, which took place over the Pentecost weekend from 6-8 June 2014. Organisers have concluded that the event was a great success.

Muslims Apologize for Attack on Pakistani Church

ISTANBUL, October 25 (Compass Direct News) – Muslims who attacked a Pakistani church and declared religious war against Christians from mosque minarets have apologized for their actions, human rights workers said.
Police no longer stand guard around Gowindh village’s sole church following its attackers’ apology October 12, a Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) member told Compass.
No charges have been brought against the 300 Punjabi Muslim villagers who vandalized the New Apostolic Church at 6 a.m. October 10. The mob broke church windows, threw dung on its walls and cut wires to the church’s loudspeaker.
But subsequent threats against Gowindh’s Christians were even more serious than the initial attack, Mehboob Khan of the HRCP told Compass.
Following these acts of vandalism, Muslim clerics called for jihad, Islamic holy war, against the Christian “infidels.” The clerics issued the call from the town’s eight mosques, Khan said.
Another HRCP worker who visited the village, located east of Lahore on the Indian border, said that the threats had included demands for Christians to convert to Islam.
“Become Muslims or be prepared to fight or die,” the clerics announced from the mosque loudspeakers, HRCP member Nadeem Anthony said. “This was the first time it happened, which is why the villagers were so scared.”
According to Anthony, the New Apostolic Church is more than 60 years old, built before the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947.
Police arrived 12 hours after the early-morning vandalism, delayed in part by bad road conditions and the fact that no Christians in the village had a telephone with which to call them, Anthony said.
Their arrival halted plans for further violence but did not stop Muslims in the village of 10,000 from declaring a boycott on its Christian minority, some 300-strong.
“Christians couldn’t get anything from Muslims’ shops,” Gowindh Christian leader Sattar Masih told Sharing Life Ministries Pakistan, a Christian rights group that visited the area. “They couldn’t go to the doctor as the doctors were Muslims.”
Khan, who also traveled to Gowindh with a fact-finding team following the attack, said that Muslims were angered over the church’s use of its loudspeaker. Members were using the amplifier to call the congregation to a prayer meeting each morning at 6 a.m.
Muslim villagers claimed that the call was interrupting fajr, the first of five daily Islamic calls to prayer made from the mosque minaret. They said that for months they had been asking the Christians not to use the loudspeaker, according to an October 17 article in English-language newspaper Daily Times.

According to Khan of the HRCP, fajr occurs at approximately 5 a.m., a full hour before Christians were using their loudspeaker.
Muhammad Sadiq, described as an influential Muslim in the village, initially claimed that there had been no attack on the church, according to the Daily Times.
“We have no grudges with the Christians,” an October 12 article quoted Sadiq as saying. The leader only admitted that certain villagers had cut wires to the church loudspeaker.
But a source who requested anonymity said that a Muslim who had recently returned from training with militant extremist groups in Kashmir had instigated the violence.
“He came back from military training and he had some propaganda against the Christians,” said the source who visited the village following the attack. The militant had convinced other villagers that local Christians were agents of the United States working to convert Muslims to Christianity.
Pakistan and India have disputed the ownership of majority-Muslim Kashmir since the area’s Hindu ruler chose to join India in 1947.
Under the supervision of supervisory police officer Athar Ismail, representatives of the Muslim community eventually promised to drop the boycott.
“We apologize to the Christians for desecrating the church and hurting their religious sentiments,” stated an apology signed by Muslim leaders on October 12, the Union for Catholic Asia News (UCAN) reported.
Muslim community leaders Daler Khan, Haji Yaseen Gardor and Tariq Mehar signed the statement in the presence of 100 Muslims, Christian leaders and local police, UCAN reported.
In a euphemistic reference to the calls for jihad issued from mosque minarets, the signatories also promised not to misuse loudspeakers in the future.
No charges have been brought against villagers who attacked the church, instituted the boycott and called for holy war against the Christians, leaving the Christian community anxious about the future.
According to UCAN, the churchgoers decided not to use the loudspeaker for the first few days after the agreement was reached with the Muslims.
“We are even willing to pray at home to avoid further troubles,” Sattar Masih told UCAN.
But Anthony of the HRCP told Compass yesterday that Gowindh Christians have now resumed use of the loudspeaker.
The incident is consistent with the ongoing pattern of isolated church attacks in Pakistan where perpetrators later apologize and avoid facing charges.
Several Christians were injured and Christian literature was destroyed when Muslim villagers attacked a church north of Faisalabad in June. The congregation had obtained permission from the village government to use a loudspeaker to broadcast evangelistic meetings they were planning to hold the night of the attack.
In a similar out-of-court settlement, the attackers apologized but were not charged for the violence.
In May in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province town of Charsadda, two madrassah (Muslim seminary) students confessed to having authored anonymous threats against Christians. At least 50 Christians had fled Charsadda after they received a letter telling them to convert to Islam or face suicide bombing. But the Christian community chose not to press charges and on June 4 officially forgave the two students, who said the threats had been a prank.
Christians make up approximately 1.5 percent of Pakistan’s population, according to the U.S. State Department’s 2007 Report on International Religious Freedom.

Huwezi kupata kitu bila kuwa na kitu (kingine). Kila kitu kilichoumbwa kilihitajika kuumbwa. Hata vitu vya kwanza kuumbwa vilihitajikwa kuumbwa na kitu/mtu mwingine ambaye aliisha kuwepo. Kwa hiyo, panatakiwa kuwa na kitu au mtu ambaye hajaumbwa na anaishi milele.
Yafuatayo ni maelezo makali; maana ni zangu mwenyewe.
Tunadhani kuwa kila mtu anaufahamu wa kutosha kuweza kuwa na maana inayofaa ya mantiki, kupingana na kutopingana, tukio, mchakato, "ndani ya", kitu, mkusanyiko, muda, mada, nishati, roho, chanzo, kilichosababishwa na, na matokeo.
Uwepo halisi kunafafanuliwa, katika makala hii, kuwa ni kuwepo kwenye ulimwengu huu, kuwa na uwezo wa kuathiriwa na kitu mojawapo hapa ulimwenguni, au kuwa na uwezo wa kuathiri kitu kimojawapo hapa ulimwenguni. Kisichoumbwa. Kwa vile chanzo walau kimoja hakitakiwa kuwa na chanzo kilichokitangulia, na kila kiumbe kinahitaji chanzo, kuna kitu halisi walau kimoja ambacho hakijaumbwa na kimekuwepo toka milele iliyopita, kwa sababu kuna kitu halisi walau kimoja ambacho hakijaumbwa.
Mhutasari: Kila kitu halisi ambacho kinaishi ama kina wakati au kipindi fulana=i ambacho kiliwahikuishi, vinginevyo hakijawahi kuishi. Kama kimewahi kuishi, basi kuna kitu halisi ambacho ni chanzo cha kuwepo kwake.
Mipaka: Hoja hii haithibitishi kwamba chanzo cha kwanza ni kitu chenye uhai, au kwamba kuna chanzo kimoja tu ambacho hakijaumbwa, au kwamba vyanzo vyovyote ambavyo havijaumbwa bado vinaishi. Kitu ambacho hoja hii inasema ni kwamba kuna walau kitu kimoja halisi (nafsi iliyo hai au kitu kisichokuwa nafsi) ambacho kimekuwepo milele bila kuumbwa.

R. C. Sproul na Norm Geisler wameandika kazi nyingi na nzuri kuhusiana na hoja ya muundo na umbo la ulimwengu.

UNAWAFAHAMU MALAIKA WAKUU SABA WA MUNGU "ARCHANGELS OF GOD? (SEHEMU YA SITA)

Malaika katika Agano Jipya:
Tunaona ya kwamba Malaika walimhudumia Yesu wakati alipokuwa katika nchi (duniani) (Mt. 4:11, Lk. 22:43). Malaika alimtokea Yusufu na kumwarifu habari za kuzaliwa kwake Yesu (Mt. 1:20, Lk 1:26-38). Malaika walikuwepo katika ufufuo wa Yesu (Mt 28:2-8; Yn. 20:12). Na walizungumzia wakati wa kupaa kwakeYesu Kristo (Mdo 1:9-11). Malaika wanatoa huduma za Kiroho kwa watu wa Mungu (Ebr. 1:14; Mt. 18:10; Mdo 5:19; 8:26; 10:3; 12:7; 27:23). Malaika hufurahi mwenye dhambi anapotubu (Lk. 15:10).
Katika Agano Jipya, Kristo kama mwanadamu bado alitenda kama mtu aliye mdhihirisha na kumfunua Mungu. Na alitenda kwa ukamilifu akifuata asili ya Mungu na tabia ya Mungu. Kama Mpatanishi kati ya Mungu na Wanadamu, kumwona Yesu ni sawa na kumwona Mungu, na kusikia na kumtii Yesu ni kumsikia na kutii Mungu. Maneno aliyozungumza hayakuwa maneno yake mwenyewe bali maneno ya Mungu yaliyotoka kwa Mungu. (Yn. 14:8-10)

Malaika wana vyeo, uwezo na nguvu zinazotofautiana katika utendaji wa kazi mbalimbali. (Zek. 1:7-11; Dan.10:13; 12:1; 1The. 4:16; Yuda 1:9; Efe. 1:22; Kol 1:16).
Enzi Utawala, Nguvu, Mamlaka,
MASERAFI NI NANI?
Kuna Maserafi na wana mabawa sita (angalia Isa. 6:2,6). Wana nguvu uwezo wa kuondoa makosa yaletayo dhambi na kuwandaa manabii kwa kuwatakasa (Isa. 6:7). Kuwa na mabawa sita inadhihirisha ukuu na uwezo wao katika katika utendaji wao wa kazi mbalimbali.
NENO MASERAFI MAANA YAKE NINI?
Neno Maserafi ni neno la wingi wa neno saraph (SHD 8314) likiwa na maana ya mwenye kuchoma kwa moto. Kwa sababu ya nyoka katika Hesabu 21:6,8 walikuwa na sumu inayochoma kama moto wakati wanapouma, kwa hiyo wakaitwa maserafi. Kwa hiyo hawa maserafi ni “moto wa mbinguni” (linganisha pia Kum. 8:15; Isa. 14:29; 30:6). Mungu aliwatuma ili waweze kuwadhibu watu waliotenda dhambi. Maumbile yao walionekana kuwa kama wandamu kwa vile walikuwa na nyuso, mikono na miguu juu ya umbile lao la kuwa na mabawa. Wanawakilishwa kama wenye “kusimama wakati wote” juu ya wote. Mfalme anaposimamisha enzi yake, tayari kwa kumhudumia.
Hawa ndiyo Malaika Wakuu na wana nafasi muhimu sana katika Jeshi la mbinguni. Ni Malaika wakuu ndiyo mara nyingi hutumwa katika nchi kuleta ujumbe wa Mungu na maonyo kwa wanadamu na kwa manabii.
Katika kitabu cha Henoko kinataja majina ya Malaika wakuu:
Mikaeli, Gabriel, Urieli Malaika Mkuu wa dunia na watu wakali) na Raphaeli, Ragueli (ambaye analipiza kisasi juu ya dunia na mwangaza) na Saragaeli.

Malaika hawa pia wanaitwa Malaika Walinzi.
Malaika Mkuu Gabriel:
• Alitafsiri maono ya Danieli (Dan. 8:16, 26; 9:20-27)
• Alitangaza juu ya kuzaliwa kwa Yohana Mbatizaji (Lk. 1:11-20)
• Alitangaza kuzaliwa kwa Yesu (Lk. 1:26-38).
Malaika Mkuu Mikaeli:
Mikaeli Mwana mkuu wa Mfalme, ametajwa mara nyingi katika Agano la Kale.
• Katika Daniel 10:13 ametajwa “Jemedari mkuu aliyekuja kunisaidia.” Angalia pia Daniel 12:1
• Yuda 1:9 Mikaeli Malaika Mkuu, anagombana na Shetani kuhusiana na Mwili wa Musa.
• Ufunuo 12:7-8 Mikaeli pamoja na malaika zake wakapigana na yule joka, yule joka naye akapigana nao pamoja na malaika zake.
Hawa maserafi wanatambulikana kama makerubi wanaokizunguka Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu kama tunavyoona sasa.

MAKERUBI NI NANI?:
Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu kinazungukwa na wanyama wanne wenye vichwa tofauti. Hawa ni Simba, Ndama, Tai na Mwanadamu, wanatambulikana kama Makerubi (umoja Kerubi) wako wanne katika jumla ya hesabu yao na wana mabawa sita wanakizunguka Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu (Ufunuo 4:6-9). Maelezo ya makerubi yanaelezewa katika Ezekiel 1:5-14; 10:20; na Ufunuo 4:6-9. Ambapo wameumbika katika viungo mchanganyiko katika Ezekieli wakiwa walinzi wa Yehova wa Israeli na wanaonekana wenye mabawa manne katika viwiliwii vyao vya juu. Hapa hawajatajwa kuwa na mabawa mawili katika miguu yao kama wale Makerubi wanaokizunguka Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu, au wale wa moto katika Agano la Kale. Idadi ya hao Makerubi kuwa wanne inatokana na Uumbaji. Wakati makerubi hawa wanapotumwa katika nchi, kwa ajili ya Yehova wa Israeli, na kutenda kwa pamoja huwa na mabawa manne na wanatembea pamoja katika gari daima wakiangalia sehemu moja. Makerubi wanaokizunguka Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu wana mabawa sita kama maserufi.
Mfano wa vichwa vya viumbe wanaokizunguka Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu wanatabulikana kama makerubi katika Ezekieli 1:1-28.
Vichwa vya wanyama vinaashiria vita vya Wana wa Israeli na mgawanyiko wa makabila katika idadi ya 10 na 11.
Tangu mwanzo kulikuwa na Makerubi wanne, makerubi wawili wanakizunguka na makerubi wawili wakisimama nyuma ya Kiti cha Enzi cha Mungu. Ezekieli 1:4-14 anaelezea juu ya makerubi wane; na hii ndiyo idadi ya “viumbe wane wenye uhai” wanaotajwa katika Ufunuo 4:6
Makerubi wanatajwa katika kitabu cha Mwanzo 3:24 ambapo tunasoma ya kwamba Mungu alimfukuza mwanadamu kutoka katika Bustani ya Edeni na kuweka Makerubi, na upanga uwakao moto katika sehemu ya Mashariki ya Bustani ya Edeni, kumzuia mwanadamu asirudi na kula tunda la mti wa uzima.
Katika 2 Samweli 22:11; Zaburi 18:10 na Ezekiel sura 1,9 na 10 inaonekana ya kwamba uzima wa milele umesimama juu ya Makerubi wanne.
Tunaona mifano ya Makerubi inavyotumika, katika Hema ya kukutania pamoja na kwenye Hekalu. Wale waliyo katika Sanduku la Agano wanaitwa “Makerubi wa Utukufu” (Ebrania 9:5), kutoka kwa hao Makerubi Utukufu wa Mungu unaoonekana hukaa kwao.
Makerubi wawili walitengenezwa kwa dhahabu, na wakiangaliana na mabawa yao yakiwa yameinuliwa, huwekwa juu ya sanduku la Agano (Kutoka 25:17-20). Mungu (kwa kupitia katika malaika wake aliahidi kuzungumza na Musa “kutoka kati ya Makerubi” (Kutoka 25:22). Mifano ya Makerubi iliwekwa katika mapazia ya Hema ya kukutania (Kutoka 26:1,31).
Mfalme Sulemani alikukuwa na Makerubi wawili waliotengenezwa kutokana na mbao za Mzeituni, na kuwekwa Hekaluni. Makerubi pia waliwekwa milangoni na kwenye sehemu za ukutani katika Hekalu, na mifano ya makerubi iliweza kushonewa katika nguo zilizotumika Hekaluni (1 Falme 6:23-35; 2 Nyakati Sura ya 3).
Ingawaje Biblia inatwambia ya kwamba tusijifanyie sanamu ya kitu chochote cha mbinguni au cha duniani (Kutoka 20:4; Kumbukumbu 4:16), Wana wa Israeli waliamriwa kufanya picha za Makerubi katika kuta za hema ya kukutania. Hizi zilikuwa ni mifano tu na hazikuwa za kuwabudiwa. Hema ya kukutania ambayo Musa alijenga na Hekalu alilojenga Sulemani ilikuwa mifano halisi inayowakilisha mambo ya mbinguni.

Kabla ya kuendelea na somo letu, na kuzungumza kuhusu MALAIKA MICHAEL, hebu tujikumbushe kidogo kuhusu Malaika katika Agano la Kale.
MALAIKA KATIKA AGANO LA KALE WALIFANYA NINI?
Mjumbe muhimu anayetumwa na Mungu anayeitwa “Malaika wa Bwana”, au “Malaika wa Mungu” katika Biblia za Kingereza. Majina haya yenye vyeo hivi huitwa Malaika Maalumu (au wajumbe) ambao wanamwakilisha Mungu.
Wakati malaika wa Yehova alikuwa pamoja nao, ilimaanisha ya kwamba Mungu alikuwa yuko pia pamoja nao. Malaika alisema na kutenda kwa niaba ya Mungu Mmoja wa kweli.
Malaika wa Yehova ambaye mara kwa mara alishughulika na wanadamu, alimwakilisha Mungu wa kweli ambaye Waisraeli walimwabudu.
Hebu tuangalie matukio mengine mengi, ambayo Malaika huyu, alionekana na kuzungumza na wanadamu katika nyakati za zamani.
• Malaika alizungumza na Hajiri mara mbili (Mwanzo 16:7-13; 21:17-18)
• Malaika alizungumza na Ibrahim (Mwanzo 12:1-3; 22:11-18).
• Malaika alizungumza na Yakobo katika ndoto (Mwa. 28:11-21; na 31:11-13; Angalia pia Mwa. 32:24-30).
• Malaika alimtokea na kuzungumza na Musa (Kutoka 3:1-6; 24:12-16).
• Malaika katika mawingu (Kutoka. 13:21; 14:24)
• Malaika akiwa kama mhifadhi, Mlinzi na Mwokoaji (Zaburi 34:7; 35:5-6).

Mtume Paulo alisema ndiye aliyewavusha wana wa Israel katika bahari (1 Korintho 10:1-4). Paulo pia anamtambulisaha Malaika wa Mungu katika Wagalatia 4:14.

Je, wewe ni mmoja wapo wa walio kombolewa kwa Damu ya Yesu?

Ipo mistari mingi mno kwenye Biblia inayotueleza nini msimamo wa Mungu juu ya adui zetu. Lakini pia Bwana Yesu alisema jambo hili katika Matayo 5:44

Ni ngumu kumeza lakini inawezekana. Kumbuka Stephano wakati anapigwa mawe anakufa alifanyaje? Aliwaombea waliokuwa wakimuua kwa mawe Matendo 7:54-60
Ukishayafahamu haya ni vyema kabisa kuyazingatia na kamwe vita inapoinuka juu yako haitakusumbua, tena utashangilia maana kwanza fahamu umemtia wivu shetani mpaka kafikia kukuchukia. Ujue sasa muda umefika wa kutumia silaha ulizonazo.

FINALLY, Muslims get their own set of smilies and emoticons


Not so fast, there are strict rules in Islam for using emoticons, many of which are ‘haram’ (forbidden), according to Hate Preacher Wajdi Akkari:

Another “scholar” says it’s OK for Muslims to use emoticons, but ONLY with persons of the same gender.



How about these? They symbolize Islam, are gender neutral, not sexually explicit, and likely won’t result in your getting a fatwa on your head.

IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY professor asks students to write an account of 9/11 from the al-Qaeda terrorists point of view

That’s right, we are just so tired of hearing all the weeping accounts of mass devastation, lives in ruin, loved-ones lost, businesses destroyed, worldwide panic, yada, yada, yada. So, let’s look at 9/11 from a happier perspective – that of the 9/11 Muslim terrorists themselves.

Breitbart  According to a report from The College FixProfessor James Strohman, who teaches International Relations, asked students to write a 500-word essay giving a “historical account of 9/11 from the perspective of the terrorist network. In other words, how might Al-Qaeda or a non-Western historian describe what happened.”

“Don’t worry about the fact you don’t agree with the terrorists, the point of the exercise is to consider completely different perspectives,” the assignment continues. 

People soon reacted angrily to the assignment on Twitter, describing it as “sick” and “shameful.” 

However, ISU’s communications officer told The College Fix that the exercise was “no way an attempt to diminish the tragic events of September 11, 2001, nor was it designed to support the goals of Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.”

Professor Strohman, who is a registered Democrat, has taught at the university for over 10 years and has “written extensively on American government and politics. He is also a member of the Iowa Employment Appeal Board.”
