The Israelites were baptized in the Red Sea to belong to Moses, while we who are saved are baptized by the Lord Jesus with the Holy Spirit to belong to God.
The baptism of the Israelites to belong to Moses is written here:
**1 Corinthians 10:1-2**: "Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea."
John the Baptist introduced the entire world to the Lord Jesus, who would baptize us with the Holy Spirit so that we may belong to God, for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.
**Matthew 3:11**: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire."
Brethren, ensure you are baptized to belong to God.
To be baptized to belong to God, you must be baptized with the Holy Spirit, which is being born again.
**John 3:5-6**: "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."
Brethren, ensure you are born again by being baptized by the Lord Jesus with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
